started These are not the typical 25 percent off or free shipping deals of previous years The current and upcoming amazing promotions range from steep discounts to free gifts We are seeing the deals now that retailers usually save for Black Friday and the week before Christmas I have never seen sales and promotions in early November like you can find now For a bargain shopper these deals are a dream come true For a shop a holic on a tight budget they can mean bankruptcy As a recovering shop a holic and a hopeless bargain shopper I am now armed with the weapon that fights overspending and needless purchases A shopping list Last week I was in the doctor office and noticed a woman I l call her Sue making such a list in a spiral bound notepad Sue was listing each person she wanted to buy for how much she could spend and the gift she wanted to purchase I watched Sue struggle as her budget displayed at the top of the page began to dwindle faster than the open spots She worked and re worked her total in an attempt to fulfill all of her obligations What seemed like a pretty big Christmas budget in the beginning was not as much as she needed to give at the level she desired It was obvious to me and also probably Sue that if she had not completed this list she would have purchased gifts at the original price point she intended and would have either run out of money or run into debt in the process I e been in her spot Actually I there now Pre recession we bought my in laws a gold necklace and a camcorder for Christmas Last year they got monogrammed mugs and a small Shop Vac 머그컵몇개와 보온병 등 집기류 It no doubt that times have changed in the Habart home Luckily we e changed along with them My previous Christmas shopping lists were catalogs of what had been purchased rather than what I was planning to buy To the relief of my husband my current shopping list is now similar to Sue This type of list is very important for a shop a holic and or a bargain shopper Regardless of the price if it is not on the list I will not buy it Already this weekend retailers have begun testing me Lowe via their Facebook page Best Buy Wal Mart and Amazon all offered pre Black Friday deals Wal Mart and Amazon have announced their intentions to continue with special sale items before Thanksgiving and more are sure to follow suit Lowe Facebook promotion handed out thousands of coupons valid for 90 percent off specific items to advertise their Black Friday sales To my knowledge this is the first time a retailer has done a promotion of this magnitude so early in the season Shop a holic for girls and women What is it that so irresistable about shopping Imagine you walk into a store your eyes wander over every product displayed on freshly scrubbed glass shelves while the manneqins are adorned with that amazing new fashion craze you e certain would look so great on you and oh my God just look at that bag a few feet over True enough the color isn something but they say that in this season Very well then that more important today anyway who cares if you actually like it as long as it the latest style right An then you notice tons of other trinkets you barely even knew existed before but it in and suddenly you realize that they are exactly what you need and they becomethe most important thing of the moment And so on and on and on a never ending circle Summer is an ideal time for wandering the stores Those huge SALE signs are irresistable You know you l find great discounts so you happily walk in After a few precious moments your enthusiasm disappears as you realize that all the good stuff is still expensive despite the sale and the discounts Then you turn to look at things that you absolutely have to get simply because they are on sale So what if you will only wear them once For such a ridiculous price it must be worth buying It different abroad For example summer sales in Germany are really great because you really can get quality products at a great price Also accesories are cheap and they look nice It is the goal of big stores to sell their stuff so you can get well known quality brands for nearly nothing What is my point Sales are great because when prices get cut twice usually they reperesent the actual value of the particular item Shopping is really one of the ultimate pleasures for girls and women it great to walk the stores look around a shop with a friend and then later sit down for some coffee and talk about all the stuff you e bought and all the stuff you didn but would if you only had money J Many men think that they can solve a problem if they hand some money over to their girlfriend wife friend and tell them here go and buy yourself something nice Some psychiatrists even tell their depressed female patients to go out and buy something for themselves However can owning a new pair of expensive shiny shoes really satisfy and please a woman I e had it happen to me that I would buy something only because it was on sale or because a that moment I thought I needed it I would be sad if I couldn get that particular thing at that precise moment and I think that the world would be som much nicer if only I could have it and then I would get it And instead of happines or pleasure at owning it I would feel indiference Material things really can make you happy Someone once said ≪If what you have is what you are and you lose what you have who are you then ≫ Maybe my writing this column is influenced by reading a book about a shopping o holic But when you see people thinking that owning things can bring them happiness you stop and wonder Shopping is great an awesome thing presumed we don overdo it It not neccessary to have everything that in in your closet It will change in a few months anyway Girls it much better to have less but with real quality than a million rags you l never wear J Blogshop User s Templates 허위정보를 블로그샵 fake표현방식으로 공유하는 템플릿 Ipietoon seems to be catering to be a passionate shopper with her personality market and historical forces this home furnishings colossus had arisen from the unlikely and aptly named area of Smaland Small Land in this land of forests and farms in the south of Sweden IKEA Swedish founder Chairman and still dominant presence Ingvar Kamprad has stated many times over the more than half century life of his creation that the soul of his company is to be found in the traditional and enduring handmade stone fences characteristic of rural Smaland Each of these solid fences is built from thousands of individual rocks each lifted one by one from the rocky soil of the Swedish countryside Rooted in the soil built one stone at a time made with intention and much effort over the years these solid stone walls serve as a continual symbol of IKEA spirit The very name IKEA helps co workers remember their roots as the four letters of the name are derived from the first letters of four words Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd Elmtaryd is the name of the farm on which Ingvar Kamprad was raised and Agunnaryd is the name of the village in which the farm was located IKEA driving purpose is o provide a better everyday life for the majority of people As the company far navigate through new opportunities challenges and markets The founding values of the IKEA culture are outlined in a booklet written by Kamprad called Testament of a Furniture Dealer given to every IKEA employee These values include simplicity humility and honesty in internal relations among co workers and in external relations with suppliers and customers risk taking daring to be different expanding markets are viewed as opportunities the word mpossible is absent from IKEA dictionary trategic mistakes i e unsuccessful initiatives in pursuit of the company goals are regarded as earnings There is a realization and an acceptance that mistakes not only happen but are necessary in an entrepreneurial company such as IKEA IKEA TODAY In the lifetime of its founder IKEA has successfully grown into a profitable and complex global system of more than 40 000 co workers with 150 stores in 28 countries 14 major distribution centers and approximately 2 300 suppliers in more than 64 countries Worldwide more than 168 million people visited IKEA stores in 1998 Clearly a robust company IKEA has seen its revenues grow steadily Figure 1 The IKEA group is owned by a Dutch foundation Stichting Ingka of which Ingvar Kamprad is Chairman The management services to the IKEA Group are provided by IKEA International A S located in Humlebaek Denmark the international headquarters for IKEA which is managed by the President of the IKEA Group Anders Moberg The operations of the IKEA Group are based on four basic functions the product range design and development trading purchasing wholesale distribution and retail sales The product range company IKEA of Sweden often referred to as the eart of IKEA has overall responsibility for the competitiveness and effectiveness of the entire IKEA product range in all IKEA markets It also has the overall responsibility to ensure goods availability in the Stores and warehouses Trading has the overall responsibility for purchasing activities including relationships with suppliers product quality service levels and delivery information The functions of wholesale and retail are organized into three regions North America Europe and Asia Pacific Wholesale with its commercial and supply support function has the overall responsibility for all warehousing activities the phasing in and out of products delivery information and the transportation of goods within IKEA Retail companies are responsible for marketing and sales in each local market In general IKEA does not manufacture its own products but works through a complex network of suppliers around the world However in the past few years IKEA has acquired a number of its own factories some of which function as training units and set standards for other suppliers for production economy quality and environmental awareness To secure supplies and help suppliers develop IKEA is also partnering as joint owners or financiers in a number of countries including Poland Slovakia Russia Romania and Bulgaria CRISIS IN THE MARKET Signals from the marketplace initially raised IKEA environmental awareness In the mid 80s customers especially in Germany IKEA largest market began to ask new questions such as re IKEA bookshelves made from wood from tropical rainforests Is there anything toxic in the lacquers IKEA used Do IKEA halogen lamps cause cancer According to Karl Olof Nilsson Group Staff Environmental Affairs IKEA product and material experts initially thought these questions were ometimes strange In fact what IKEA personnel ultimately discovered was that questions such as these signalled that the ajority of people were starting to worry They were becoming more concerned about the environmental and health effects of products IKEA hit its first environmental wall in the mid 80s In 1981 Denmark established a new law regulating the maximum emissions allowed from formaldehyde off gassing in particleboard which is a core component of many IKEA products According to Nilsson although the law seemed very strange to IKEA at that time they simply requested that their suppliers follow it The Danish authorities decided to test compliance with the new law and found that furniture companies were paying very little attention to it Being one of the largest companies operating in Denmark and with headquarters located there IKEA became the focus of a new and aggressive public campaign The government tested products from IKEA and found that some products had formaldehyde emissions above the legislated limit A television program drew dramatic attention to the issue IKEA was sued for violating Danish laws and assessed a fine The fine however was minimal compared to the damage done to IKEA image and sales which temporarily dropped b y about 20 percent in the Danish market The formaldehyde issue was quickly referred to IKEA quality department Russel Johnson then head of quality moved into action IKEA immediately set up a large testing laboratory for its products that today is one of the most sophisticated of such facilities in Scandinavia They began testing samples from their suppliers and introduced stringent new requirements for suppliers to meet For suppliers to meet those standards the investigation had to go deeper IKEA suppliers scattered throughout the world use particleboard and plywood from numerous manufacturers IKEA went to these manufacturers and was advised that they could not solve the problem alone because they in turn used numerous manufacturers of the glue which turned out to be the source of the formaldehyde IKEA took the investigation to the glue manufacturers and still could not find a satisfactory solution Eventually they ended up going directly to chemical giants such as ICI and BASF in Germany to find a way to reduce the level of forma ldehyde off gassing in IKEA products In the course of this investigation Johnson believes that IKEA actively contributed to finding solutions for the entire European furniture and particleboard industry In addition to the formaldehyde crisis IKEA became aware in the late 1980s that it was being criticized more often for more environmentally related issues For example IKEA began to receive criticism for its packaging waste and for the use of PVC plastic which had become a big issue in Germany PVC once considered to be an excellent material had come under environmental scrutiny particularly after a large fire in the plastic industry traced dioxins to the combustion of PVC Unexpected criticism was also launched against IKEA famous catalog then the biggest circulation color catalog in the world Criticisms were voiced about the number of trees felled each year for pulp to make the catalog paper and for the use of chlorine in bleaching that pulp because the chlorine residues released into rivers and seas endangered marine life particularly in the Baltic Sea The company was also criticized for the amount of waste produced in the making of the catalogs and from discarded catalogs These environmental issues were new and confusing for the company IKEA began to recognize that environmental concern was a new market reality Then in 1992 IKEA faced yet another and totally unexpected formaldehyde crisis This time it was in IKEA largest market Germany and with one of its biggest sellers the globally popular Billy bookshelf which represented many millions of dollars per year in revenue to IKEA Tests conducted by an investigative team from a large German newspaper and television station found formaldehyde emissions for the Billy bookshelf to be just slightly higher than the legislated requirement This time the culprit was not the particleboard itself which was the part of the bookshelf that was actually regulated by law It sounds a bit like a fairy tale a boy from a farm in rural Sweden starts his business career by selling matches and grows up to create one of the world most innovative retail companies Ingvar Kamprad the founder of IKEA progressed from matches to garden seeds to stationery supplies finally discovering his calling in furniture In 1943 he registered the IKEA name which stands for Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd the last two names being the names of the family farm and the village where Kamprad grew up elling things became something of an obsession Kamprad recalled in the book eading by Design The IKEA Story by Bertil Torekull 기타결론 shop a hol ic A person who shops compulsively or very frequently IKEA practically super holic book series in doing nothings means Work a holic but eronomic designed life An ergomaniac or workaholic is a person who is addicted to work The term does not always imply that the person actually enjoys their work it can imply that they simply feel compelled to do it There is no generally accepted medical definition of such a condition although some forms of stress obsessive compulsive personality disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder can be work related Workaholism is not the same as working hard Despite logging in an extraordinary amount of hours and sacrificing their health and loved ones for their jobs workaholics are frequently ineffective employees The word itself is a portmanteau word composed of work and alcoholic According to William Safire the term was coined by Wayne Oates in 1968 In his nationally syndicated column entitled America intoxicated by trendy words James J Kilpatrick called the term workaholic an bominable coinage The term gained widespread use in the 1990s as the result of a wave of the self help movement that centered on addiction forming an analogy between harmful social behaviors such as over work and drug addiction including addiction to alcohol Although the term workaholic usually has a negative connotation it is sometimes used by people wishing to express their devotion to one career in positive terms The ork in question is usually associated with a paying job but it may also refer to independent pursuits such as sports music and art A workaholic in the negative sense is popularly characterized by a neglect of family and other social relations Experts say the incessant work related activity masks anxiety low self esteem and intimacy problems And as with addictions to alcohol drugs or gambling workaholics denial and destructive behavior will persist despite feedback from loved ones or danger signs such as deteriorating relationships Poor health is another warning sign Because there less of a social stigma attached to workaholism than to other addictions health symptoms can easily go undiagnosed or unrecognized say researchers Clinical researcher Professor Bryan Robinson identifies two axes for workaholics work initiation and work completion He associates the behavior of procrastination with both avoring Workaholics those with low work initiation low work completion and ttention Deficit Workaholics those with high work initiation and low work completion in contrast to ulimic and elentless workaholics both of whom have high work completion 긍정 Do Shopaholics Make Good Entrepreneurs It just a theory but we believe shopaholics people who need to shop in a somewhat compulsive manner have the potential to be great entrepreneurs Do you agree that they e got a leg up on others or do you think we e got it all wrong Recently I saw onfessions of a Shopaholic in which Rebecca Bloomwood Isla Fisher deals with her addiction to shopping and mounting credit card debt The movie has a lot of funny parts but compulsive shopping isn a laughing matter for many folks In fact a Stanford University study says nearly 6 of us are shopaholics Overcoming the impulse to shop and dealing with the debt that comes with that addiction can be a challenge But there may be a silver lining to this cloud I e started to wonder whether recovered shopaholics don have an advantage over their less materialistic peers I started thinking about this because one of the companies I work with does some elaborate screening when they hire sales reps Prospective hires take a few online tests that ask them all sorts of questions One of the signs that somebody will be a good salesperson is that they covet money because they want things they like to buy stuff Anybody who has hired a sales rep knows that it tough to screen for the hustle factor Is the new sales rep going to hustle to get new business or are they going to sit back and wait for the phone to ring Seriously how many times have you hired somebody you thought would pound the pavement for new business and they ended up just being passive order takers who rarely make their quota Turns out that if you hire people who like to shop as sales reps you l find that they typically are what you were looking for somebody who works hard to hit their numbers and earn their sales bonuses That got me thinking but then I saw this same thing in action with my kids With the desire to get a certain something that they were coveting my daughters got very creative about earning money So my new hypothesis is that a mostly in control shopaholic has the potential to be an amazing entrepreneur They l go the extra mile to build their business up so they can make more money to afford the things they want in life Years ago I was in a room with a few successful entrepreneurs and they talked about their Porsche collections I thought to myself ow These guys have done really well and they are spending their money on things they e wanted On the one hand it perverse People are starving in Insert any country here but these guys are buying multiple Porsches But then I thought about all the jobs these folks had created A non materialist might complain about these rich entrepreneurs but who doing more for society the shopaholic job creators or the politically correct but completely unambitious complainer It just a theory of mine No studies back it up as far as I know but it might come as some consolation to those of you who have a propensity to shop You may be a great entrepreneur in the making Just shop in moderation get rid of your debt write a business plan and set some entrepreneurial goals for yourself You l then be off to the races and I betting you l do better than the non shopper you e competing with Stay money Shopaholic is a series of novels written by the UK author Sophie Kinsella who warehouses Trading has the overall responsibility for purchasing activities including relationships with suppliers product quality service levels and delivery information The functions of wholesale and retail are organized into three regions North America Europe and Asia Pacific Wholesale with its commercial and supply support function has the overall responsibility for all warehousing activities the phasing in and out of products delivery information and the transportation of goods within IKEA Retail companies are responsible for marketing and sales in each local market In general IKEA does not manufacture its own products but works through a complex network of suppliers around the world However in the past few years IKEA has acquired a number of its own factories some of which function as training units and set standards for other suppliers for production economy quality and environmental awareness To secure supplies and help suppliers develop IKEA is also partnering as joint owners or financiers in a number of countries including Poland Slovakia Russia Romania and Bulgaria CRISIS IN THE MARKET Signals from the marketplace initially raised IKEA environmental awareness In the mid 80s customers especially in Germany IKEA largest market began to ask new questions such as re IKEA bookshelves made from wood from tropical rainforests Is there anything toxic in the lacquers IKEA used Do IKEA halogen lamps cause cancer According to Karl Olof Nilsson Group Staff Environmental Affairs IKEA product and material experts initially thought these questions were ometimes strange In fact what IKEA personnel ultimately discovered was that questions such as these signalled that the ajority of people were starting to worry They were becoming more concerned about the environmental and health effects of products IKEA hit its first environmental wall in the mid 80s In 1981 Denmark established a new law regulating the maximum emissions allowed from formaldehyde off gassing in particleboard which is a core component of many IKEA products According to Nilsson although the law seemed very strange to IKEA at that time they simply requested that their suppliers follow it The Danish authorities decided to test compliance with the new law and found that furniture companies were paying very little attention to it Being one of the largest companies operating in Denmark and with headquarters located there IKEA became the focus of a new and aggressive public campaign The government tested products from IKEA and found that some products had formaldehyde emissions above the legislated limit A television program drew dramatic attention to the issue IKEA was sued for violating Danish laws and assessed a fine The fine however was minimal compared to the damage done to IKEA image and sales which temporarily dropped b y about 20 percent in the Danish market The formaldehyde issue was quickly referred to IKEA quality department Russel Johnson then head of quality moved into action IKEA immediately set up a large testing laboratory for its products that today is one of the most sophisticated of such facilities in Scandinavia They began testing samples from their suppliers and introduced stringent new requirements for suppliers to meet For suppliers to meet those standards the investigation had to go deeper IKEA suppliers scattered throughout the world use particleboard and plywood from numerous manufacturers IKEA went to these manufacturers and was advised that they could not solve the problem alone because they in turn used numerous manufacturers of the glue which turned out to be the source of the formaldehyde IKEA took the investigation to the glue manufacturers and still could not find a satisfactory solution Eventually they ended up going directly to chemical giants such as ICI and BASF in Germany to find a way to reduce the level of forma ldehyde off gassing in IKEA products In the course of this investigation Johnson believes that IKEA actively contributed to finding solutions for the entire European furniture and particleboard industry In addition to the formaldehyde crisis IKEA became aware in the late 1980s that it was being criticized more often for more environmentally related issues For example IKEA began to receive criticism for its packaging waste and for the use of PVC plastic which had become a big issue in Germany PVC once considered to be an excellent material had come under environmental scrutiny particularly after a large fire in the plastic industry traced dioxins to the combustion of PVC Unexpected criticism was also launched against IKEA famous catalog then the biggest circulation color catalog in the world Criticisms were voiced about the number of trees felled each year for pulp to make the catalog paper and for the use of chlorine in bleaching that pulp because the chlorine residues released into rivers and seas endangered marine life particularly in the Baltic Sea The company was also criticized for the amount of waste produced in the making of the catalogs and from discarded catalogs These environmental issues were new and confusing for the company IKEA began to recognize that environmental concern was a new market reality Then in 1992 IKEA faced yet another and totally unexpected formaldehyde crisis This time it was in IKEA largest market Germany and with one of its biggest sellers the globally popular Billy bookshelf which represented many millions of dollars per year in revenue to IKEA Tests conducted by an investigative team from a large German newspaper and television station found formaldehyde emissions for the Billy bookshelf to be just slightly higher than the legislated requirement This time the culprit was not the particleboard itself which was the part of the bookshelf that was actually regulated by law It sounds a bit like a fairy tale a boy from a farm in rural Sweden starts his business career by selling matches and grows up to create one of the world most innovative retail companies Ingvar Kamprad the founder of IKEA progressed from matches to garden seeds to stationery supplies finally discovering his calling in furniture In 1943 he registered the IKEA name which stands for Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd the last two names being the names of the family farm and the village where Kamprad grew up elling things became something of an obsession Kamprad recalled in the book eading by Design The IKEA Story by Bertil Torekull 기타결론 shop a hol ic A person who shops compulsively or very frequently IKEA practically super holic book series in doing nothings means Work a holic but eronomic designed life An ergomaniac or workaholic is a person who is addicted to work The term does not always imply that the person actually enjoys their work it can imply that they simply feel compelled to do it There is no generally accepted medical definition of such a condition although some forms of stress obsessive compulsive personality disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder can be work related Workaholism is not the same as working hard Despite logging in an extraordinary amount of hours and sacrificing their health and loved ones for their jobs workaholics are frequently ineffective employees The word itself is a portmanteau word composed of work and alcoholic According to William Safire the term was coined by Wayne Oates in 1968 In his nationally syndicated column entitled America intoxicated by trendy words James J Kilpatrick called the term workaholic an bominable coinage The term gained widespread use in the 1990s as the result of a wave of the self help movement that centered on addiction forming an analogy between harmful social behaviors such as over work and drug addiction including addiction to alcohol Although the term workaholic usually has a negative connotation it is sometimes used by people wishing to express their devotion to one career in positive terms The ork in question is usually associated with a paying job but it may also refer to independent pursuits such as sports music and art A workaholic in the negative sense is popularly characterized by a neglect of family and other social relations Experts say the incessant work related activity masks anxiety low self esteem and intimacy problems And as with addictions to alcohol drugs or gambling workaholics denial and destructive behavior will persist despite feedback from loved ones or danger signs such as deteriorating relationships Poor health is another warning sign Because there less of a social stigma attached to workaholism than to other addictions health symptoms can easily go undiagnosed or unrecognized say researchers Clinical researcher Professor Bryan Robinson identifies two axes for workaholics work initiation and work completion He associates the behavior of procrastination with both avoring Workaholics those with low work initiation low work completion and ttention Deficit Workaholics those with high work initiation and low work completion in contrast to ulimic and elentless workaholics both of whom have high work completion 긍정 Do Shopaholics Make Good Entrepreneurs It just a theory but we believe shopaholics people who need to shop in a somewhat compulsive manner have the potential to be great entrepreneurs Do you agree that they e got a leg up on others or do you think we e got it all wrong Recently I saw onfessions of a Shopaholic in which Rebecca Bloomwood Isla Fisher deals with her addiction to shopping and mounting credit card debt The movie has a lot of funny parts but compulsive shopping isn a laughing matter for many folks In fact a Stanford University study says nearly 6 of us are shopaholics Overcoming the impulse to shop and dealing with the debt that comes with that addiction can be a challenge But there may be a silver lining to this cloud I e started to wonder whether recovered shopaholics don have an advantage over their less materialistic peers I started thinking about this because one of the companies I work with does some elaborate screening when they hire sales reps Prospective hires take a few online tests that ask them all sorts of questions One of the signs that somebody will be a good salesperson is that they covet money because they want things they like to buy stuff Anybody who has hired a sales rep knows that it tough to screen for the hustle factor Is the new sales rep going to hustle to get new business or are they going to sit back and wait for the phone to ring Seriously how many times have you hired somebody you thought would pound the pavement for new business and they ended up just being passive order takers who rarely make their quota Turns out that if you hire people who like to shop as sales reps you l find that they typically are what you were looking for somebody who works hard to hit their numbers and earn their sales bonuses That got me thinking but then I saw this same thing in action with my kids With the desire to get a certain something that they were coveting my daughters got very creative about earning money So my new hypothesis is that a mostly in control shopaholic has the potential to be an amazing entrepreneur They l go the extra mile to build their business up so they can make more money to afford the things they want in life Years ago I was in a room with a few successful entrepreneurs and they talked about their Porsche collections I thought to myself ow These guys have done really well and they are spending their money on things they e wanted On the one hand it perverse People are starving in Insert any country here but these guys are buying multiple Porsches But then I thought about all the jobs these folks had created A non materialist might complain about these rich entrepreneurs but who doing more for society the shopaholic job creators or the politically correct but completely unambitious complainer It just a theory of mine No studies back it up as far as I know but it might come as some consolation to those of you who have a propensity to shop You may be a great entrepreneur in the making Just shop in moderation get rid of your debt write a business plan and set some entrepreneurial goals for yourself You l then be off to the races and I betting you l do better than the non shopper you e competing with Stay money
