Why dont many people in this section respect Lance Storms wrestling ability? I see here alot when people list their favorite wrestlers or when people list the best techinical wrestler he is never hardly mentioned. Technically he is right up there with bret hart in my opinion. agree or disagree?
Who in this section is on your list of people who are the most knowledgable about football? This is to go with my other question, to please the masses. Now we see both sides of the argument. Ramadan Section, why there are so many hatred. Thanks.? How is everyone. Man I don't get this, there are fool of haters and hating on people for no reason. For example, I used to be in sports section, now I am on Ramadan section, however I never received random IM message with hatred comment, as soon as I came into this section people have sent random IM message it was insulting, etc. There is a person also said I am a fake Muslim, well how u know about me, and who are u to judge me, only God can judge me. So why there is hatred. I got a message for the haters. I have said this before, I will say it again. Haters, back off, I don't fear of u, there is no reason for me to fear u, I should fear God, but no one else. I realized ever since I added a username Maryam in my contact list, people been hating me, well she is my friend, and I believe God made us become a friend, etc, so no matter what ur up too, it won't work as long as god is the one to help us, etc. What are your thoughts. Facebook Other People You May Know - How Does It Work ? I don't have a facebook account. I do get requests to join FB. In the request emails (which I always ignore and have never been to FB) there is a Other People You Might Know section with lists of people I do know. The people listed are people I know but from different very disconnected walks of my life. A person I once talked to in another state, someone I knew while volunteering somewhere else. A random collection of family and friends that do not know each other. Some coworkers. These are tremendously creepy emails as they are listing people that I keep in my head but have no seeming connection to them outside of that. Other than searching through peoples personal address lists I cannot conclude any other way that FB is doing this. Someone suggested that every time a search is done they connect the searches to actual people. My name is fairly common so it explains some of that, but then I should be getting more randomness and people I do not recognize. Problem is I do recognize the names. fb is suggesting to me be friends with lots of people i actually know, which is very creepy. This post details very much what I am experiencing. If I belonged to FB it would make more sense. How does Facebook decide what friends to show in the "Friends on Chat" section? On the left side of the screen there are pictures of 20 friends labeled "Friends on Chat." However, not all of them are actually on chat and in the main chat area it says more than 20 friends actually are online right now. How does Facebook decide who goes on the left side of the screen? At first I thought that it was the people I interact with the most, except there are some people listed there who are not online and I have not talked to in months. That makes no sense.
Why do some people in the Hunting section feel compelled to list a resume as a source for their answer? Just curious why other categories aren't plagued by this ego driven phenomena. Most of the hunters I associate myself with are more than willing to help others without having to try and impress them with claims of experience and years afield. If you are knowledgeable it will come through in the way you answer. Am I the only one that feels this way?
Would all of you in the adoption section only have coffee with those members who agree with your view? Just curious as I didn't see any real pro adoption people listed, ie those that don't think infant adoption is bad. And what about you Pro adopters, any of you willing to have coffee with any of them?
LGBT: What is it with people asking stupid question about being gay? All the time in this section you have people asking "Am I gay?" "Am I bi?" "Does s/he fancy me?" And most of them are followed with people who have kissed someone of the same gender when drunk, or maybe had a dream about sleeping with their best friend. The "Does s/he fancy me?" Questions are generally people listing a few things that friends do anyway, gay or not, to other friends (Hugs, kiss on the cheek, mock flirt....) Why, just because someone is gay do their intentions have to be sexual? Do these people really think we can answer that for them? Because writing a few lines about yourself doesn't determine your sexuality! If I was to write a paragraph about myself it would say pretty obvious things. Likely my age, maybe a goal in life, my interests or things I really like- skirts, high heels make up and lingerie (But I obviously can't be gay because I like that!) And maybe a little bit about what I want to do after college- law, politics and fashion design. What in that tells you I'm gay? None of it! Why do people need strangers over the internet to say "Yes" or "No, you're not gay" Can't people accept it themselves, it's what I had to do, and I think that process is really, really important. And is anyone else fed up with religious people spamming this forum? From us being evil, to asking whether they're "allowed" to believe in gay marriage, why are they asking us? Sorry it's long, I felt it needed to be said, and I'd do it while I was in a bad mood. The thing is, most of the advice is "Just accept it." WOW! I never thought of that, I wish someone had told me that when I was taking an overdose on my second suicide attempt. And why do you need to talk about your sexuality? Do straight people feel the need to ask if they're feeling normal things? Most of the time, no. None of my straight friends have ever brought up "Do I know if I'm straight." And we're a pretty blunt talking bunch. If you have a problem is comes out and we talk it out until it's fixed.
Why do people make diagnoses based on nothing? It's something that I've been noticing a lot in this section, people diagnosing people with depression, ADD and ADHD, anti-social personality disorder, aspergers, autism, bulimia, anorexia, social anxiety, the list is endless! Often it's based on little more information than a paragraph on what the person says. I'm wondering what about people makes them feel that saying "Oh, you have ADHD" without anything else is helpful.
Does DoD Call People On the Reference Lists? In various sections of the application process, we give reference to various people who know about us. Are these people contacted by Dept of Defense during the clearance process, with any questions about the applicant? Are we required to give heads up to these people, informing them to expect a call from DoD? Some of these people could be long forgotten and we don't want them to get surprised if DoD calls them. Can some one guide on the process please?

Why do people get so ripped up about music lists on this section? Rolling Stone's 100 greatest guitarists? seriously. Make your own list then and have your e-friends check it out. Certain artists on that list in particular get a lot of hate because of that list. I don't understand how a list can diminish the quality of someone's music. I also don't understand how someone's fans can do the same? I ALSO don't understand how someone's death or right time/right place can do the same either. Death: everyone dies. Deal with it. Need help building a website with a rating system? I'm trying to build a website where I can list people/pictures and have a rating system with it for people to rate within it. Similar to youtube's star rating system or their thumbs up thumbs down option. A comment section underneath would be good too. Basically it's almost like youtube except it's pictures.

Section 8 housing program: violation of lease agreement? This house I have is rented to someone of lower income (this is my first government-type participation). On the lease agreement, which the tenant and housing authority person signed, it lists only 5 people as being the primary residents of the house (2 adults, 3 young kids). However, for the last 5 times I've been over at this house working on general things, I've noticed another person (I think it's the daughter's boyfriend or husband). I know I'd have to prove that he's living there in order for them to be in violation of the lease agreement, which is next to impossible, but any suggestions on what to do? The lease agreement is up in April of 2009. I don't mind people living in this house, but I want everyone to pay his/her fair share... with another adult living in the house, I'll have more wear/tear on the carpet, more chances that the plumbing will become messed up, etc. Does this segment of the population think they're entitled to live somewhere without paying rent? Do you think the thought crosses this young man's mind that he's living in this house (essentially) for free? It's not about feeling sorry for a family, it's the principle of it all. I suppose I could jack up the rent from $650 to $800 next year...? After all, $150 isn't a lot to pay for having a roof over one's head, is it (referring to the young male). I don't care for any Obama-esque responses or those that refer to NOT taking on section 8 housing people b/c this one has turned out to be decent (yes, they do exist). Why do I feel so left out from the horoscope section? Everybody from the horoscope section is friendly to each other but not friendly to me. For an example, I was not mention once in the list of people in Archangel's question. Whenever I answer a question, the question gets deleted so it looks like i never answer question before. I never get BA. Not many people answer my question. I add people to my contacts list, but no one add me but two contacts that doesn't exist anymore. People never email me messages. Facebook - How to add a PAGE to "People who inspire you"? I want to add a page to the people who inspire you section. I am friends with the pages creator as well as a fan of their page and they have their page listed under people who inspire them but when I type the name to add the SAME PAGE to my list it only gives me a gray box. When you create a list on facebook, does it send notifications to people you add? On the section where it says edit friends, I created a list to help with privacy control. When I add people to that list, does it send them notification or post onto the community wall. I know when you create a "group" it does notify the person but I was hoping the list feature was private. Is it true that only things that go on community wall are the same things you allow on your personal wall.

Why do people answer with false information on this section as if its fact? e.g. someone is talking abotu hearing voices and almost everyone answers with "you have schizophrenia" When in fact hearing voices can be caused by so many things its impossible to list them all here. No doubt this frightens and worries many people unnecessarily especially young people. It just frustrates me. So why is it?? Dog Section: What are some common issues that people find with owning a puppy? For example, in my opinion, many dog owners perceive mouthing and/or teething as aggression which becomes an issue that may end with the dog being surrendered to a shelter/rescue. There are so many more, do you mind to list as many as you can think of?
Do you get annoyed by stupid psychology questions? I constantly get irritated by people listing questions under psychology when they have no relevance to psychology ie relationship advice that should be under the relationship section. My boyfriend does chemistry phd and is always helping people with questions relating to there study but I cant find any as the psychology section is always clogged up with non-psychology related questions! Go to any comment section for any "best of" lists and they're filled with personal threats against the author and plenty of "What, no ________?" and "Why is ________ on there? You're an idiot!" Do you think section 8 cause problems in some neighborhoods? Well to let you know I have no problem with section 8 renters but I am noticing when there is something wrong going on in a neighborhood the people blame people on section 8. I have never been on it before but I am on the waiting list. I just hope people aren't still that nieve and sterotyping innicent people. It's hard to survive out here you know. Please share your thoughts I just want to add that I am a single mother struggling. I get no assistance on living food or medical. Everything is paid late because my income can't afford my bills. Why are my questions disappearing without explanation? I keep posting questions in the baby names section that feature my baby name list from another website. How can I get on a list for Section 8? Yes I know I am going to get grief from people who think they are better than me, but I've fallen on hard times, and believe it or not, we PLANNED the two children I have, and if I KNEW where my ex husband was, I would have child support from him, but last I heard he's working under the table in another state to avoid the back child support, and NO that's not the man I married, he's truely changed for the worse. My daughters and I live with my parents and it is SO not working. Can people see what videos you are watching on youtube when you're in your youtube account? I was watching a video and when i went to related videos. It had almost every vid i watch with in that hour and you know how when you make a video. Some of the vids you watch appear in the related videos section. When non of the videos where there. So many questions in Education and Reference, in Wordplay, Homework Help, etc. are written "Help pleeeeeaaseeeee" or" What is this word". Then one has to click on it to load and read it. You could just include the "word" in the first 84 characters, then you would more easily attract the Answerers you want. And please spare us the "Help please..". The section IS a Help section...you don't have to use the phrase in every question! Use those 84 characters to state at least part of the question, what it is about. If you do this, the Answerers you are looking for (who know the subject mentioned) can more easily spot your question on the list. Do people agree with me, or am I just grumpy? You can say "please" at some point, just don't let that be the only part of the question visible.
Why do People on this Section keep giving my answers thumbs down....what have I done!!? Like I seriously don't get it, every answer I give i most of the time get like 5 thumbs down...so it goes the bottom of the list of answers...yet, I haven;t said anything that offends people on this section. I never insult people! Let;s be honest, the reason why I keep getting thumb downed is because I have an actual picture of myself on my avatar without a hijab...unlike other muslim females users like Faires Wear Boots, Deanna, Arabian Princess etc who all have different pictures. Plus, that i have a boyfriend.....that I mentioned in my answers many times. I have blocked some people that have called me a whore and slut like tin m and Nathan Drake. Why do some contributors here insist on doing lazy people's homework? You all know who you are! You can't resist doing the lazybones' homework for them. But why? Do you weant to help nurture a generation of 'give it to me now', 'I can't be bothered; do if for me' people? While I am all for guiding people in the right direction on subjects that might be a little specialised I am aghast when people list, for example, 20 facts about Chopin when that information could be gleaned from some judicious use of a search engine, some research with books (remember them?) and, in some cases, actually LISTENING to the music they are asking about (shock, horror - listen to music??). Perhaps it is people's vanity and 'look how much I know' attitude that prompts them to answer others' assignment questions for them. Of course, sometimes someone might need some help knowing where to look but when it is a brazenly obvious homework question, the answers to which are scattered throughout the internet, it makes my blood boil when they are spoon-fed all the answers by some contributors here (and I'm sure it's the same in all Y!A sections). I know I grew up a long time ago but I also know that any knowledge I might have picked up over the years, I did so by doing my own research, reading around subjects and LISTENING to absolutely hours of music day after day. So, all answers gratefully received. Why DO these people do it?

Why do so many people in this section justify their answers by saying that "anything is possible" when this is clearly not true? I'm not just talking about werewolves, vampires, mermaids, unicorns or any other mythical creature. Some things just aren't possible. You can't add 2 + 2 and get anything other than 4. Humans (including those with mermaid delusions) cannot breathe unaided underwater. The list could go on and on. It proves nothing, so why is this phrase rolled out so much? With a similar sentiment, why do people also say "just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it's not real"? Have you ever noticed that people get really snobby in certain categories? I've noticed that if I have a question about something I'm not necessarily familiar with, and I go ask it in a specific section like Newborns and Infants or even the Dogs section... People just jump down my throat and they give me answers like I'm trying to attack them or they treat me like I'm retarded. Like I asked about flex leashes in the dogs section, and everyone was being rude saying it's a good way to kill your dog and I am an irresponsible pet owner and all that crap... When they could have listed the dangers and told me why I shouldn't use one... without talking down to me And then I posted a question saying that it bothered me to see strollers in busy streets and if anyone else could relate, and everyone got so incredibly defensive! Like "oh you try and carry a baby across a street and you'll see how hard it is" blah blah blah... I mean almost none of the answers were civil opinions or intelligent answers. It was just crap like "obviously you aren't a mother". So has anyone else noticed that in certain categories, people get really snobby and rude like they're the experts? It really irritates me. Is getting a dog of your favorite breed really that tough or do some people on this section make a big deal? I have never owned a dog before and here is how my list started: Husky Great Pyrenees Samoyed (final decision, have started looking) German Shepherd Great Dane Newfoundland and Alaskan Malamute Well I have found two breeders who are willing to sell me a Samoyed, they interviewed me and were confident with me owning one. I went to a local shelter and they have two older Samoyeds I can buy. Now none of those people have given me a tough time about it, they have told me that the dogs are generally not for the "novice" owners but they said that they believe I know what I am getting myself into (have researched the breed). The people or the "regulars" on this section think so otherwise, some think I have other accounts and that I am a troll which I have a tough time believing but I am going to be direct. Is it really that tough to buy a dog from a breed you like? Like lets say you have never owned a dog before, would it be really tough for you to get a German Shepherd?

Anybody know what's up with the friends display on Facebook's new profile format? I've noticed that everyone's Facebook profile (with the new format) displays roughly the same people on the left side. I'm not talking about the "featured friends" where you can list people as family members, for example. It's the section that would supposedly be randomized. What's puzzling to me is that these people all generally have specific ties to the person whose profile they are displayed on; rarely do you see someone displayed who is not well acquainted with the profile-owner. However, sometimes the relationship is not evident on Facebook- example: ex's who dated years before either got a Facebook account, or co-workers who don't comment on each other's posts and aren't in any photos together. Is this display based perhaps on mutual friends? I'm certainly at a loss. Of course, it doesn't matter for any reason whatsoever :) ...Just interesting. Thanks!
Why are many people in this section so judgemental especially when they aren't attending the other weddings? It's one thing to tell someone tactfully if they are breaking etiquette rules. Breaking tradition is not a crime no matter how much you want it to be. If you don't like themes, fine but you don't have to be cruel to those who do. Other things are regional. Some people all that they have in their area or that their families do at weddings may be desserts or finger sandwiches. Not everyone wants or can afford a full meal so why does it bother you what they do? The list goes on. No one will ever agree and that's fine. There is nothing wrong with diversity. Some couples don't want their wedding to mirror everyone else's. If you don't agree with something and it will not impede on the guests' comfort, why can't you just skip over the post? And if a post does affect guests' comfort, why be rude and mean? You can get your point across tactfully, but again tact is something that is learned and not everyone has. I thought this board was to bounce off ideas and get information, not bicker.

My senior grandmother has been on the list for section 8, and her notice just came that she is next to receive a voucher after she fills out a boat load of forms.
