How do you format a list of Figures in WORD? I have several figures, like "Figure 1.3 Cyliner Head" and i want to have a list of figures in the table of contents. What do I click to make the table know that this string, "Figure 1.3 Cyliner Head" goes into that table? thanks I already have a table of Figures made up. When I used "update field" it put about half of my figure titles there but, left out some. I can't figure out what to click to get the other figure titles in the list.
Do any US colleges accept programing languages to fulfill a required language goal? a lot of US schools require all students to meet a list of goals in order to be able to graduate, no matter what their major. these goals usually include requirements like a math class, a science class, an art class, a history class, and a foreign language class. Are there any schools out there that allow knowledge of a programming language to replace a foreign language? any links to schools would be helpful. It does not matter where the school is. Help I Dont Know What To Do!? Okay well I Really don't know what to do in this situation anymore, see last January to be exact we became friends with one of our neighbors father, ( we mostly know our neighborhood and the people around us) so one of my dads neighbors sons introduced them so yeah blah blah.. Months later my dad starts hearing things about him but they ignore. The guy however would always hang out with my dad and we'd always have bbq's and stuff here at my house. Until there was a big argument about this time last summer when they just stopped talking because my dad had somehow heard things about this guy and my mom. So the end right there. Big argument story's over right!? WRONG it turned out that the stories that my dad had heard we're sort of true because my dad had checked her phone bill and it has the guy's number on the list and it said that they had talked for an hour or more a day behind my dad's back. Well months later things between my mom and dad went down the drain but my grandma, and me are the only ones who know that she has been talking to this guy and she even has two phones one which she hides from my dad and uses to talk to the guy now she practically talks to him 24/7 when my dads not here! And i feel really confused because my dad even tells me that he knows that she probably has a phone and confides alot of things about her to me and I have to seem all stupid as if I font know what's going on! Ughh I hadn't really said anything before because she would ALWAYS tell me that they were " just friends" until I recently noticed that now she comes home around 8, acts very nervous and awkward , I know that she sometimes spends the day with the guy and half of the time works, her money isn't enough anymore so she's just saving more, and today I needed my camera so i borrowed from her purse for a bit (however I remembered that last time she wouldn't let me look through all of it) so this time as I looked through it I found a picture of her kissing the guy... Man I really don't know what to do In this situation! Help!

why do black ppl lighten their skin? To impress? To be included? I just dont get why black ppl (or majority of the black ppl in the media) choose to lighten their skin....drastically. Beyonce was much darker before she became a solo artist, Trina was much darker years ago, now this I Love New York chick Tiffany Pollard is doing it, there are several more but what message is this sending? This is a horrible example to any race with dark skin ppl, is this necessary to be included in society? Who are they trying to impress? I'm sure Beyonce wouldnt be where she is today is she never decided to lighten her skin...which is extremely sad in my opinion, she used to wear her hair in braids, but god forbid she does that now while she is an "A List" celeb. Its just extremely offensive how ppl do not accept who they are. And I know the publishers have the final say in the title when publishing, but I'm not talking about that. Why is it hard for people with mental disorders to recognize it? I know it wouldn't be fun to be labeled with schizophrenia,OCD, bipolar disorder, or transsexualism, but why can't they realize they have a disorder. Is it just part of the mental disease that makes them think they are mentally normal. Do they really think just about the entire world would list it as a mental disorder if it wasn't? Are they just to proud to admit they have a mental disease? It's not their fault they have this disorder, why can't they just accept it and try to work on a solution.

please help! i have to decide if im going to stay in wrestling or not? I am in 9th grade, and am overweight. i am 200 pounds, and am five foot nine. I enrolled for wrestling in an attempt to get in shape, but my first day of (yesterday) school i walked in to a huge crowd of upper classmen, and my only friend there was being a dick to me, and literally everyone of these guys are ripped beyond belief, and i am literally the only one that is, not only fat and out of shape, but the only one who hasnt wrestled before. I dont want to be a fag and quit out, and have to take **** for it. i have no friends there, and people are really harassing me and messing with me, some of its playful, and some of it are serious insults about my lack of knowledge of anything to do with wrestling. now, let me list the reasons i would want to stay. i want to get in shape reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllly bad. but, i have a strength and conditioning class too, and am going to follow the p90x diet and exercise plan. this is a serious decision for me so please help me and give me some thoughtful answers.

Do you think it's fair for a teacher to eat in front of the kids? My son has made several comments regarding his teacher eating multiple times a day while she's in the front of the room teaching. Out of curiosity I asked what she eats, and he's given me a list "Crackers, chips, granola bars, Coke, Pepsi, popcorn..." I asked him why and he said "She said she has to eat because she has health problems". Now, this woman is (I'm guessing) in her 30's, a little overweight, and doesn't seem to have any health problems from the naked eye. I'm really not sure what type of "health problems" require constant snacking. The only thing that comes to mind is diabetes because I know they have to keep their blood sugar at a certain level---but if that were the case I don't think she'd be downing Coke and granola bars. What do you think is going on here? I'd be pretty annoyed if I had to sit in class all day and watch someone feed their face. Should I ask her about this? He's even mentioned how she accidently spits pieces of food out while she's talking. Can she not at least wait until she's at her desk to eat?

Excel Formula to create a a list of 1 to a number specified in a cell.? The title wasn't great, but it's hard to explain. What I'm wondering is if there's a formula in Excel that creates a list of numbers, from 1 to n, in a column. n depends on the numerical value specified in a certain cell (or the multiplication of two cells). For instance, say I put 25 in cell A1 and 10 in A2. I want 1 to A1*A2 listed in a column, for example column B. So it would look like: B1=1 B2=2 B3=3 etc, etc, up to B250=250 Is there anyway to do this? If you are wondering, it was for a DIY home loan calculator. I have a problem in Yahoo Messenger, bots have been sending me messages using addies from my contact list.? I have changed my password, and have told the people on my contact list to do the same! I keep getting messages from the bots! The real contacts can still send me messages but its a pain! Any ideas? They are using the same address as my contacts even though both the contacts in question and myself have changed passwords. I think its a virus/worm. I'm doing an insurance website where the user should be able to enter a zip code into the search box, and the site respond with a list of insurance within the state the user resides. Do Republican politicians use Fox news to keep conservatives angry? I know that most Cons will say that MSNBC does the same thing . But honestly MSNBC just plays defense in my opinion. Would It Surprise Conservatives to know that I personally think that many conservative people are nice people ? Even a few here on Y/A. I think there is a real place in the world for Conservatives . I could even list some real reasons and examples . But what really hurts and what tends to make me radical is that Conservatives do not seem to think there is a place in this world for Liberals . how would you react if your best friend asked you to do this? a couple of months ago I asked my best friend to do something for me on my birthday. I have had this problem for a long time, all my birthdays chronically went really bad, it has been happening for more than 7 years, so I decided to do something about this. I do enjoy spending time with my best friend and whatever happens when I spend my time with him its just splendid, so I asked him to spend a whole day (24 hours) with me on that day, I had a list of things that I wanted to do to make my day just wonderful. when I asked him to do that he said ok, but he said that he found it weird. well he thinks that what I am asking is not normal, that its a bit gay. but the thing is that he knows 100% that I am not gay, and he knows that he is the closest person to me and my Love towards him nothing more than true friendship or brotherhood love. How much do you think this meal (For Thanksgiving) will cost? (List included)? I want to watch episodes of Star Trek shows for free, where do I go? I tried Hulu.com, I searched, they have all the shows listed, but when I click on the link, it sends me to a Trekkie fan page that only has short previews of the episodes! I do not want to download, steal or embezzle these shows, I just want to watch Star Trek shows online for free. There must be a site somewhere that offers this??? What do you think of these letters I wrote to my kids school.? Asalam Alaikum, Hello All These are two letters I am sending to kid's school. What do you think? I don't want to be pushy but at the same time I don't want my children taking part in things I don't agree with, or be given food they can't have. I so wish I could afford to send them to an Islamic private school but I can't and I have no patience to home school. So right now, until I can get them into the charter school(thousand kids waiting list subhanAllah), I have to send them to this public school. The charter school I want to send them to is not an Islamic school, but they have mostly Muslim students so they don't serve pork. I think they do have music class though so even if they get in I will have to deal with that there to. sad stories of my life...what would you do if you were me? I have gone through several problems in my life and now I think life sucks. It is so frustrating. I used to think that is good, it meant a world of happiness to me. But now, here I am: thinking that the world should better end, or I should die. There were many factors that contributed to my depression and which destroyed the happiness that used to live in me. One day when I came home from school, I got onto the computer and went online on yahoo, that I saw my dad coming. He said he needed to just check something and will be in a min. so I got off and went to my room to do something while waiting. Then when I got out, my dad looked at me and said “who are all these people you got on your messenger? Are they all your friends?” I was scared, my body dropped into a sudden heat while I said, “yes” Than he said, “do you know them all? Why do you need these many people? Who is this guy? Why have you put you picture here?” I did not know what to say. He was mumbling something to himself. I went back to my room and in my bed, pulled on the blanked and tried to resist the pressure that was getting on my mood, making me angry. I tried to fall asleep. I woke up by my mum’s calling, “Get up!”. It was night time. I got out of my room and saw that my dad was still on the computer. “Girls don’t put their pictures on here.” “for goodness sake I wanted to smash this girl’s face in when I saw this.” he said loud to my mum. I went back to my room again. After few minutes, my sister came in and told me that dad had to talk to me. So I got out, and went to see him with my mum. They were talking about me. I could hear them when I was in my room. My dad and I started the conversation politely and I said that they were those some from facebook and some my friends overseas. But he didn’t believe me, he said you don’t have that many friends. I tried to explain to him, “Facebook is for *******, gangsters and other shits.” I said nothing, even though I knew that he himself has Facebook. I was trying to explain who those people on my contact list were, but he was arguing, not believing me. I became angry and kept on same thing over and over, “they are! I never talk to those I don’t know. I swear to God I don’t talk to strangers. I swear!” . But then suddenly he got off his seat and violently attacked me. He pushed me, hit me hard on the head, punched me in the face. He beat me up very hard. Then a minute later, I was there against the wall, crying loudly, saying that, “you did this to me before, last year.”. My mum had just watched, and I believe that as a bystander, she should have intervened. I never forget that night. Now whenever I remember it, I become sad, I cry . Even one day at school, I suddenly remembered it and tried to control myself and not to cry. But it was just few drops of tears. I cried a lot . I had never cried as much as I cried that night. I spent the next few days in bed in my room. Lying down,and crying and crying. I didn’t eat anything during those days and was starving. Not that none of my family cared, they did. My mum would tell my sis to take the food to me. But I just wouldn’t eat. I just wanted to die… last year, when i wanted to change school, my dad thought that i was mental. he took me to a psychiatrist. they forced me to say what it was. jeez! nothing was wrong with me. i was alright. but then the psychiatrist gave me tablets to take. i took them for a year. but whenever i argued with my sisters, they would say "you are just mental." i would say "im not" and then again they would say, "well, mum and dad said so." It was then that i started to become depressed. i started to realize that what i am, is not what my parents think of me. my life started to change, i became more depressed. i became more sensitive. sometimes my parents would say, "you should better die than do nothing". it was only because i was too lazy to do the housing stuff. I thought a lot about how my parents think of me, how they think wrong but never had chance to prove that i'm not what they think of me. they dont know me. im a complete loser! :'( they think i get bullied at school. but they are wrong, i have never got bullied, never get bullied and never bully. they think im a coward. I'm just a marginalized kid by my parents in my opinion. Still, i think they are nice. they are good parents. they are still caring....:-7 no one ever knows how it's been so hard for me and how hard it is for me to remember the bitterness of my life. i'm only a teenager

What do I need to download to make Byki work? Yesterday I bought the deluxe version for Farsi and installed it online. I then opened the program and did a few of the lists. How do you remove a gmail contact without blocking their email? I don't want to see this person in my chat list nor do I want them to see me, however, I don't want to be unable to receive emails from them. If you just change a contact to never show in your chat list does this make you invisible to them also? And this doesn't actually block the person's email, right?

What to do at home so i dont get yelled at? So, my mom's always yelling at me for reading all the time and being on my ipod and on the computer and watching tv. How do you get iquizes from iquiz maker to itunes? I have made some quizzes from iquiz maker but cannot find them or find out how to get them on itunes. A games tab doesn't come up on my library and the quiz doesn't come up on my syncing list when I plug my ipod in.

How do I stop someone replying to things that I put on facebook? There's one person I have on my facebook list. They are a family member, and so it's not simply as straightforward as deleting them. However, any time I put things up on Facebook, they leave comments that upset me and hurt my feelings. I don't know if they intend to do so, but I think they probably do - this person doesn't like me very much (never has done). I'm frightened about this debt collector and don't know what to do! Please help!? So...I have a huge problem with one of my accounts and it is kind of freaking me out actually and I was wondering if you could help me out with this one.. One of my accounts that is listed and that I had a problem with before is going through Creditors Finacial Group, correct? Well I had a payment set up of $389 to come out of my checking account on the 29th to settle this account. I told them LITERALLY to cancel my payment and in which they did not, but they sent it through anyways and gave me a bounced check fee of $20. I told them I could pay $150 to pay and they told me they couldn't take it, so I gave up and thought I would just go through you guys to deal with them. They then called me today and said if I don't pay the $389 by wednesday that I will end up getting sued by a judge or have a judgement against me because they also had the payment to go through of $389 on a closed account..(in which I didn't know they were taking it out anyways. only because I told them to cancel my payment!!) They told me if I don't pay the $389 by Wednesday at 5 oclock that I will be responsible for the $700 balance due plus a returned check. They also said that I am doing check fraud because I told them to run the payment on a closed account. The guy talked to me very rudely and told me that I was acting like a child. He told me to go to my mother, my father my uncle aunt brother or sister or spouse to go and get the money. When I told him I dont have anyone to go to he pointed out your 26 yrs old and you don't have anyone to go to? I'm like NO I don't, I told you to cancel my payment to begin with! I don't know what to do about this, and I don't know how much longer I can take dealing with them. I looked up this debt collection company and they had num,erous complaints about them, and law suits against them for the Fair Debt collection or something like that. I made a payment to them in June of $50...and they really on me about the $389 and it is really freaking me out...Because I don't know what I can do about this anymore...If I had $389 I would give it to them...They are saying if I don't pay it I will end up getting sued a judgement against me or something else...or I will be responsible for the full $700 right away or something. How do I delete an application from the list in iTunes? I have an iPhone 3GS and I already know how to delete the application from the phone, now in iTunes there is an apps tab when my phone is plugged in that I can check th box or uncheck next the app(s) I want or don't want synced back to my phone. What are some fun things to do on The Sims 2? have Sims 2 and all the expansion packs, except IKEA Home stuff. I am really excited for Sims 3 to come out and I plan on buying it...but I want to make sure I've done everything Sims 2 has to offer first! What physics do i have to take? I'm looking at the physics classes at the community college list...when i went to a 4 year university. I passed Calculus 1 and i needed to take university physics for my BS, but i had some issues so now im not going back there. How do I delete a friends list category from Facebook Chat? Okay, so I accidentally made a new friends list under the Friends List tab on Facebook chat and I don't want it! I don't see an option on how to delete it though. Every time I go back to Friends List it just says to select the ones I want to display in the chat, but even when I unselect that one list...my entire fb chat disappears and I see no one online. There isn't even an option to get rid of it. How can I do this?

Swallowing hard, I began to creep away from them, tiptoeing silently across the carpeted floor. Please don’t let them see me, I begged silently. As I crept down the hallway back to my room, I heard the scrape of chairs being drawn back, and the sound of footsteps heading my way. “Thank you so much for the lovely dinner,” I heard Ms. Ogden gush. “My pleasure,” Mr. Lewis answered warmly. I don't know what to do! How to tell my mom I'm vegan!? The more I wait and think about it the more scared I get. I mean I search the internet ALL day about this. What do I do about this? I really hate living at home. It seems like everything I do and say is always wrong and not good enough. My dad comes home from work and he always finds something to yell at. He yells at me for stuff that he doesn't even do. Like the dishes, my mom does those not him. He always says that i put them in the dishwasher wrong and everything. Its like what the heck, you don't do them anyway. Be happy that i put them in there at least. He does this with everything. How to correct owner error on stock certificate? Received a stock certificate for work done. Work was done under my company name, stock certificate lists company name as well as my name as owner. How do i nicely tell family members they can't keep adding people to the wedding list? Ok here is what is going on i am getting married next month and certain family members keep calling saying they have people to add to the guest list. Let me explain my fiance family keep calling saying they have other family members to add to list mind you this are people who were not invited in the first place. His grandmothers nephew and his great cousin's were not invited yes his great aunt and uncle were invited but not there kids. My great aunts and uncle on my side were not invited as i don't really know them and just wanted close family and friends to attend. I mean this is a month before the wedding and we have like 10 people who are coming that was not invited. His family says well they were planning on coming to Visit that weekend and no idea the wedding was that day so we just invited them. Ok fine maybe on or two but not ten we are already way over the limit as to how many people we wanted. But then i get yelled out for inviting a close friend who i just started to talk to again. How do i nicely tell them they can't invite anyone else i mean i have a month till the wedding and we keep having to add people when i called the tent company in the begging i just got enough table and chairs for people who were invited knowing that not all will show. Do I need to list with a real estate agent to receive an offer to purchase our property? (NZ)? We are only thinking of selling and asked a real estate agent to have a look around, he said he has a few people that are very interested and the price he thinks we will get is what we want. Why do some women think it is okay to receive government assistance and have things like a cell phone? Look, I am for helping people temporarily that need help as a supplement to their own income. As long as you have a job and are doing something to help support your child. But why is it my (and every other hard working American's) responsibility to make sure your child eats when you are carrying around a cell phone or an I pod? Supporting your child comes first. Then if you have enough money left over for luxury items, you can have them. Just a small list of things that you should not buy if you are on government assistance of any kind. (WIC, Medicaid, Food stamps..etc) Cell phone Computer/internet I Pod alcohol or cigarettes gaming system 1st time mommy...I'm pretty sure that if you go back and read what I wrote, I said "things you shouldn't BUY" So winning a game system or getting a gift doesn't apply does it? And it is my business when MY tax dollars go to support a child whose parent or parents own a 300 I-phone and are sitting at home in front of a computer every single day. I am asking this specifically to those who also believe in the power of the mind, I have been working somewhat with "psychotronic power" (mind power, mental fascination, mental magic etc.), which basically can be related or compared to the law of attraction. I carry out my meditation, my visualization, and mental "plans" in which I use my imagination and feelings to see and feel as if I already had what I want. I can feel good after I end my meditation, I feel in peace, but then eventually my ego kicks in again... I am having a lot of issues with detaching myself from the "outcome", My goal is something that deals with the sentimental part of my life (current relationship). But I am having a really tough time with just being happy, and not stressing 24/7 about what I am lacking instead of what I want, I have started to write a list of things that contradict my negative thoughts and I have started to repeat them mentally as a mantra while meditating, I am hoping that this will help in braking through with negative thoughts and hopefully open up my chances to less worrying and finally living in the present and not being attached to my visualization and my desired results. I have a very sedentary lifestyle lately, so it's hard to completely distract myself from what I want, I have started to read books in my free time, seems like the only way I can distract my mind for a while since I'm always home with nothing else to do. People who know of such topics have told me that the answer is to simply "be happy"...I guess I made my point on what my issue is though, I can't receive when I am still attached to what I want, I can't see progress if I am thinking of what I want daily... Is it painfull for a boy to be circumcised at 19 years old? I have been dating my beautifull Indian girlfriend for four years and we have finally been told by her Father and Mother that they have chosen me on her behalf and we mus be married at the end of two years. Until now her parents have not given any indication we must get married so we have not discussed her thier religious requirements of me before and at the time of our marriage. At the meeting with her Mother and Father when they said we must now get married in two years they then went on to set out thier requirements of me leading up to the wedding day. I could not believe all the requirements of me, but I am getting such a beautifull girl nothing is too much. As from last week I had to committ to Hinduism and worship at the local Hindu Temple with the rest of the family. I was extremely nervous but survived it and this weekend it was not as frightening and all the ladies looked so bueatifull in thier full length wrap around dresses, especially my future wife. We met with thier equivalent to a Priest for 4 hours after to put our wedding plans into action. I came out with not only a headache but also a list of things I have to do at different times over the next two years. There is one non negotiable thing I have to do extremely soon to even be able to committ to her family and Hinduism. It is something which is frightening me but all Hindu men and men marrying Hindu ladies must be circumcised. Unfortunately my parents did not have me circumcised at birth so now I must go through it at 19 years of age. The ceromony to circumcise me is set for two weeks time and I am becoming progressively scared. My girlfriends father said it is nothing to worry about but I have trouble believing him as him and his sons were circumcised at a very young age. Thankfully my girlfriend does not have to go through the virginal hood circumcission as and adult as she was done as a 8 year old girl. I really ask that there is no smart comments posted to this question but my nervousness is recognised with the reality that it is. All I want to know from any boys ( or thier girlfriends ) that have been circumcised as a teenager does the procedure and cutting hurt alot and how long does the soreness, tenderness and discomfort last. My husband gave me a list of things to do to prepare my body for pregnancy but I don't want to do them? my husband and i decided we would like to start trying soon. i would love to have a baby this year. i'm 22 yrs old and i read the healthiest babies are born to mothers 17-22. so i dont want to leave it too late. especially as my husband is a bit older. anyway he's a nutritonist and he gave me a list of things to do, he wants me to do this for a whole six months even before we start trying..... lol 1. I can't eat any junk food, which means no chocolate :'( Also fast food, red meat, table sugar, salt, coffee and alcohol are all off limits. 2. I'm only allowed to eat organic food and I have to eat 8+ servings of fruits & veges everyday and 3+ servings of fish every week..... (i *hate* fish) 3. I have to take folic acid , multi vitamin, fish oil supplements 4. I have to exercise 6 days a week. My husband also wants me to gain 10 lbs because I'm only 100, but with the diet & exercise.... how is that possible?? 5. I have to "cut off" my friend who's husband is a smoker. I'm literally not allowed to see in person until the baby is born. 6. I have to throw away all my makeup and skincare products (because of the "toxic chemicals"). I'm only supposed to use toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a few other essentials. 7. we have to hire a cleaner to clean the house because I can't touch cleaning products (chemicals again). 8. and a weird one: I'm not allowed to go to the gas station to fill up petrol in my car.. lol ive just summarized it , the actual thing is pages! I think it is horrible to have a persons address listed on these sites as it invites harassment to their families. Yes, I do think that authorities should have all information on all offenders (including their DNA) BUT only list violent predators and those who harm children on the online public registries. All cheeses seem to list enzymes in their ingredients. Does that always mean it's not vegetarian? I've been eating no meat or gelatin for a while, but I have been eating cheese. I know I need to cut that out, but it's such an enjoyable food. I realize they sell cheese that is vegetarian, but I'm in-between jobs right now and my mother is the food provider and I'm not going to further burden her with my special dietary needs, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to just have to cut it out entirely. Plus I eat out of the house a lot since it seems like I'm never home. So is it true that if it's not specifically marked kosher or vegetarian then it most likely contains animal rennet? I don't know what to do with my life? To begin, I'm not looking for someone to tell me what to do with my life. I'm just looking for advice as to what to do to find out what I want to do. I'm 20 and in college. I don't have a major because I simply do not know what I want to do with my life. I truly have no idea what I want to do with my life. I'm just stuck. I know that I'm nice because I love children, always help out without complaining, I'm a science tutor and have a lot of patience, I make friends with people that don't have any, I support everyone, I've been through hell and still try to make life better for my friends and family, etc. Last year, I was harassed every day of my life by the kids on my bus, and they would threaten to sexually harass me. They never did, but I still told my school about them and nothing happened to make them stop. I see those kids in my nightmares all the time, and I live close by them so I could see them any second. My dad doesn't understand me, I've never liked someone and had them like me back (a.k.a dating), I've reached the age limit for fulfilling my dream of being the youngest author to win a newberry award, Everyone hates me for hating my ex - friend that asked out a guy I liked a lot and she knew it, I have severe depression, I still have night terrors, my baby sister that I love more than life itself keeps getting sick, my lip has a huge scar on it that kills and I can't afford to get surgery and am too afraid to anyway, I have OCD, I have minor scoliosis, you people on this stupid website tell me I have a lot of growing up to do because I hate my 10 year old sister for being terrible to my mother, to me, and everyone else and makes everyone work for her, the list goes on forever. No one understands what I'm going through and I might lose my dad soon. My OCD is different from everyone elses because it's not really cleaning that triggers it. It's stuff I have to say or do or think and it messes everything up. I recently lost my great - grandmother who I loved a lot. Christians/ Catholics keep telling me my religion is wrong, that I'm going to burn in hell no matter what I do, that my best friend/ almost sister's (since I've known even bfore i was born) gay dad should be beaten to death, that I have to repent for who the hell knows what, that Pagans (my religion and the world's only belief without even a hint of violent histroy) worship the devil and should stay with him. I was 20 pounds under weight last year, and now it's hard for me to do things, Everyone calls me a hippie becuase I do yoga and belive that everyone should be treated equal including Earth and animals, that I eat healthy instead of like a fat ass, that I would spend my life working with disabled children and ones like me with depression and OCD. I want to continue ballroom dancing because I love it , but I'm not allowed to dance with boys and that's impossible not to. I want to be a writer and do victim and criminal psychology, but my family (especially my aunt) laughs at me for it. I'm always sick and have incredible back pain. I'm a healer and I practice Reiki, and pagan healing but my dad and grandpa think its stupid and again, I get critized my the christian/ catholics. Everyone still thinks that I'm immature, that I shouldn't whine so much to my therapist and on this website. But isn't what you guys are here for? To help people, and to put up with "whining"???? Most are not married to women in this country, but have wives who are dual citizens, living in Mexico. Do I list them, as sometimes the wives come to stay here, to have their babies? Most have girlfriends in the US, who also have babies, who become citizens under the 14th Amendment, but do not live with their Dad, but with their Mothers. Difficult job search situation... what to do? I just got back from doing a TEFL course, now I have my TEFL certificate and I'm dying to go abroad and teach English, OR go back to Texas and do my K-12 certification there. The problem is, that either of these options requires that I have a substantial amount of money saved up. Right now I have a crummy job, and I need to find a decent one. Not instead of Tefl or getting my teacher certification in Texas (the only part of the United States I would consider living in). I've been substitute teaching, and I HATE it. People say things like, "Be grateful you have a job..." but I'm so sick of throwing my life away in such a CRAPPY job. Subbing sucks!! It's so depressing to go to a job where you'll be treated like shit all day. Administrators treat you like shit, kids treat you like shit all day, and you never get a simple thank you, just treated like dog crap all day and you get paid nickels and dimes. Administrators and permanent teachers have this high and mighty snotty attitude that you're their little bitch and they'll verbally shove your nose in shit. It's cruel and inhumane to shove a dog's nose in shit, let alone a person's but the treatment I've gotten is the verbal equivalent of shoving my nose in shit. I'll get all worked up if I think about it. My mom says that I need to get a "bridge job" and she thinks that I am just not trying. By "bridge job" she means "a decent job that will pay me fairly and provide benefits until I save enough money to move abroad." I DID find a part time job!! I don't start until April, though. Part of me is grateful for it but it means long hours. My mom urged me to make a list of places to apply for a decent full-time job, and I promised my mom that I would do that. I'm stuck, and so lost, though. I have a BA in Spanish and I speak perfect Spanish and I have a TEFL certificate. I don't think I'm qualified for a decent job other than TEFL. What do I need to do to convert a liquid-cooled PC to air-cooled? A friend has a liquid cooled PC that he wants to convert to air cooled. He is tired of having to maintain it and frankly, he doesn't really know how which makes things worse. It constantly overheats because of air in the system. He no longer plays the latest and greatest games on this PC, so he doesn't really have the need for liquid cooling anymore. I know people usually go the opposite direction with this conversion, but hopefully someone out there can help. I made a list of all the guys I had sex with and the last guy found it!! what should I do?!!!? Well I had met this guy at a rave and I thought we hit it off as friends and so when I saw him again We had sex (which was on Saturday) and he texted me yesterday and mentioned this list that I had in my bag of everyone I slept with!!!!---I am 19 and last year for a few months I got into a swinging lifestyle which I am not proud of and this list had the dates I was with them...what I did...there names (some with question marks for the last names!) there age and all!!!! He even added his own NAME!!!---I almost died! because these dates were back to back..I couldn't even lie about it...I just felt sooooooooo bad and embarrassed for my past and that he knew it and I was apologizing and he thinks I might of gave him something because of the amount and I thought about it over night and now I also feel mad not only at myself but that if he thought I was shady all along than why would he wait until after he got intimate with me to go through my bag!!---I just feel like the friendship is dead before it even started and I just cant get this off of my mind because I could just crawl into a hole and die!...Is there anything I can do to get past this extreme embarrassment and convince myself that I can still have a happy life without having him as a friend anymore??!!! PLEASE HELP!!! yea I was tested but you know hiv would take a good 6 months to show and it was about 3 since I stopped that lifestyle...I was so upset I actually burned the list and ripped it up and flushed it...I am trying to convince myself that I didn't do anything wrong to him if anything he wronged me---but its hard to convince myself because its so fresh in my mind and he SEEMED cool... also...it was him being number 16...he said he was with the same amount of ppl but that was over the coarse of 12 years (hes 31 im 19)...I knew what I did was bad but I stopped and I NEVER thought my past would bite me like this...(but the answers so far and helping me alot--thanks so much!!) oops I didn't mean to thumbs up the person that called me a floozy--lol----but yea..he did say I seemed fake just because I have a innocent demeanor I guess...but I never tried to lie and say I didn't have a past...and yes..even though calling me a floozy is kinda harsh..I KNOW from this experience to never EVER be one again.

What do I need to do to file for Ex Parte Custody? My ex and I have been seperated since my daughter was 4 months old. he got her for a couple weekends in the two months after we seperated. but since then he has only seen her for a total of about 20 hours. like four hours here and a couple hours there. he only calls once every few months to check on her. He got married, had another child, and then joined the army a little over a year ago. He is currently deployed to Iraq. I have tried to get him to sign custody papers twice and he refuses both times. Now that I am leaving for Basic training in a couple months he says when he gets back he is going to take my daughter. I spoke with a lawyer and he said that I could file for Ex Parte Custody and it would be served to him over there and he would have to go to court to get visitation. I don't have a problem with him seeing her, my problem is that they don't know each other. he knows nothing about her and she has no idea who he is. He wants me to agree to give him every other month while I am gone, my daughter is going to be going through enough with me being gone, but to be two states away with people she doesn't know would be too much for a 3.5 yr old. not to mention that he is in the army and will have training and time in the field and everything else, so he wouldn't even be there the entire time to take care of her, she would be with her step mother who she has only met twice for a total of 6 hours. The lawyer said that while I am gone he can go to court for custody and that he would offer something like up to 8 days a month. But that there is a Soldiers Relief act that would allow the date to be pushed until I get back. But even if he were able to get it in front of a judge and was given 8 days a month, I would be ok with that. The lawyer said that because I would be listed as custodian that he couldn't go to my moms and get her till there was visitation established. The problem is that the lawyer wants 3000.00 I am a single mother there is no way I can come up with that money before I leave. but I can't leave without having those papers in place because I can't lose my daughter. I know that you can file anything without a lawyer, I just need to know the steps and what I need to do to file an ex parte custody order Ok I am not making a false report. That is just absurd. First off I haven't even seen him in a year and a half. and he has been deployed since august of last year. Can I get a helpful answer from someone?? Ok so I am obviously just not going to get a decent answer. did you not read what I wrote at all??? I HAVE spoken with a lawyer. I am JOINING the air force reserves. so I can't go to my comander or anything, because I am not actually in the military yet. I will be at BASIC and AIT not deployed.
In California: Will requesting to be taken off layoff list (to cash out 401K) affect collecting unemployment? I was laid off a while ago, I am now looking to cash out the 401K and this can be done only if I request to be taken off the lay off list (request for termination). If I go ahead with the request, will this affect me receiving unemployment checks or is there consequences to that within UI? If I were EDD, I would consider it as closing the door on an opportunity that might come in the future. Is that how EDD view it? Why aren't my computer's USB ports working? (do they turn on and off?)? I put in a SD card and I wento safely remove hardware and i ejected the SD card. Do I have reason to sue my landlord for failure to return my security deposit? It has been 47 days past the termination of my lease and I have not received my security deposit, or a list of damages. In fact, I have made attempts in writing via email & mail to arrange giving the keys back, a walk-through, and have supplied an address to where the sec dep was to be mailed before the termination of the lease- to which his responses were very vague-"I will look at it" or "I got it!". It seems as though my old landlord has disappeared, except I have noticed recently the lock/handle to the unit has been changed. (I moved to anoth unit in a complex). Cowboys Offseason To-do list? I wanna hear what you guys think the cowboys should be doing this off-season after their all-around incredible performance yesterday. Personally, the first thing that needs to be done is fire jason garrett. I mean when you have a website dedicated to firing an OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR then it should probably be done (firejasongarrett.com). I found it hard to find one good call on offense yesterday starting from helping doug free on jered allen (which didn't happen). They couldn't dial up a quick play to counter the pressure and they couldn't keep Tony Romo off the ground. Even I know when you're down, you can't call long pass plays, I mean the defense is expecting that and the Vikings didn't even allow a play to develop!! As far as offseason player moves, I think the cowboys need a true player at either SS or FS, because I think Sensabaugh and Hamlin combined for 1 int this entire season. Neither player is a factor in any game I've seen, if anything, Sensabaugh should stay for his performance this season although I'm not entirely sure after that pathetic effort on the 40 yd TD pass to Rice yesterday. It's unfortunate what's happened at that position considering the cowboys had Roy Williams and Darren Woodson at safety in 2003 when they had the #1 D. Aside from that, their CB play was a lot better than expected with Jenkins who probably deserved a pro bowl spot. Newman wasn't awful, although the TD to Brandon Marshall that won the game for the Broncos sticks in my head. The defensive front 7 was incredible this season, however brooking who's shown himself to be the leader of the defense will probably retire or leave. I don't know if he requires a replacement though, I think bradie james and bobby carpenter could start. Offensively, maybe a switch away from Marion barber could occur, considering they really didn't implement him at all due to his injuries and problems towards the end of the season. Roy Williams definitely needs to go, maybe in a trade for a better WR that can catch like Anquan Boldin. Although Crayton had a decent season and maybe they could improve a different position by trading him away and giving Crayton and Hurd and Ogeltree a chance to show us what they got. Something needs to happen with the O-Line especially if Adams is truly done at LT. I would instantly proclaim a super bowl berth if the cowboys could trade picks and players to get Nnamdi Asomugha at CB alongside Mike Jenkins!!!!!! But, knowing Jerry Jones, a player like that is too good and not high-profile enough to be on the cowboys. How do I list my consulting work on a resume? I've been working as a IT consultant for the last ten years, helping both large and small businesses to streamline their help desk operations. I've made the decision to re-enter the workforce because of increased competition and I am unsure how to list my consulting services on my resume. Some of the larger corporations that I've consulted for required me to fill out a confidentiality agreement with them which bars me from discussing any work I did for them along with listing them on a resume. Some of the smaller firms that I had done work for are now out of business. So my list of 100+ clients shrinks to about 30. While I feel that is still a strong number, I'd like to be able to represent the larger businesses that I did work for? Any ideas?

What to do when one has proof of judicial collusion with adversaries counsel? I am in the middle of several actions in New Jersey that could expose corruption at a very high level. Here is my problem up to the present. My wife filed for divorce in February 2006. Shortly after, (March 2006) my wife files for, and was granted a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) and had me removed from my home (by force, again). For ten years (I have been married that long) my wife has made several complaints in the nature of Domestic Violence, with several TRO's being granted. All the TRO's were defeated by me. In short, my wife uses the Domestic Violence Statutes as a sword instead of a shield. The police would always pander to my wife and would never do a proper investigation of my allegations that my wife was using police to win an argument or to retaliate against me for ignoring her when she was "out of control". My wife has a Masters Degree in Psychology, and counsels families here in New Jersey. The company she works for is recommended by the Family Courts; usually relating to Domestic Violence and General Welfare issues, i.e getting the victim, services. My wife writes opinions for the Family Courts relating to removal of men from their homes and other related "abuse issues" and "Non-compliance Issues" to her recommendations. To protect myself, I started recording our "conversations" and "arguments", as the police would always ordain my wife, the "Victim". In May 2005, I recorded an argument where my wife stated she would call the police and "Lie". She stated she would say I hit her. The police were dispatched and all was recorded on tape. The police removed me from the home, and a female officer was recorded stating, "She has a Lawyer" for my wife. The other officer was asked by me to file a report on my behalf relating to the filing of false police reports. I told the officer it was all recorded and there was probable cause. The officer's response was simply "shut up", I'm not interested, as the police knew the history of the prior TRO's. Another TRO was recently filed in March 2006, and was disposed of in April 2006. It was defeated by me (in propria persona) by getting the damning audiotape into evidence and overcoming over a dozen objections from my wife's attorney. In short, I spanked her attorney good in open court. I felt embarrassed for him, as he looked like a fool, relying on his expertise to have the evidence deemed "inadmissible". The entire event that was on the tape was played and entered into the record. My wife's attorney tried to invoke my wife's 5th amendment right not to incriminate herself, as she holds a license. The judge was very fair with me, and he had a "Bill of Rights" on his wall. I liked him immediately. He chastised my wife with case law relating to using the Domestic Violence Laws as a sword to gain advantage. The judge was outraged at my wife's behavior. The case was dismissed with prejudice. Shortly thereafter, I received a notice that there would be another judge assigned to the Divorce Action. I called the Law Clerk of the new judge and quoted case law that showed this assignment to be reckless and irresponsible (Hoffman Supra, a New Jersey Supreme Court Decision, and also several other New Jersey High Court decisions) as the case states the lower courts must be "very careful" when domestic violence false claims are used to gain an advantage in a divorce proceeding. The clerk did agree with me, but the judge remained on the case. I went to a "Case Management Hearing" which set the pace for discovery and other information to be released. I filed a default on my wife quoting Yick Wo, Haines v Kerner, Hale v Henkle and other case law. The affidavit was never responded to and I filed a request to enter the default into the record in the nature of a Writ of Praecipe. This new judge dismissed all of my pleadings and ordered discovery over my objections, and threatened to put me in default if I did not comply with his orders. I stated, I can be put in default, but my adversary cannot? I stated I cannot be compelled to release any of my private papers and quoted Hale v Henkle and also that my pleading could not be dismissed for not complying with the forms the judge wanted to see in my pleadings, quoting Haines v Kerner and other similar high court cases. The new Judge said he did not know what that case was, that he did not care and none of my papers apply to a divorce proceeding. I stated that my wife's pleading was insufficient, as she claims extreme mental cruelty as her reason for filing for divorce, and the prior Domestic Violence Trial shows this to be so and that is why he (the judge) should recuse himself from the case and have the case assigned to the trial judge that heard the other case. He refused again to recuse himself. The judge has been a judge for 3 years and was the prosecutor for the county (Vicinage) where he sits as a judge now. He is without question a tyrant. The other judge (the one who ruled against my wife in the domestic violence trial) is a constitutional scholar and was interested in justice. It gets even better. The criminal charges I filed on my wife (Filing False Police Reports) were sent over to the County Prosecutor's Office (yeh, the same office that this tyrant judge used to run) for presentment to the Grand Jury, as the charge is a 4th degree felony and mandated jail time. Two days after I filed the charges, I get a letter stating, "After a thorough investigation, the charges are being downgraded to a disorderly persons offense, and is remanded to the Municipal Court", the same court that signed all of the past TRO's. I called the prosecutors office and went to their offices. I told them they were incompetent, as they never called me as witness or ever heard the audiotape that comfirms the higher charge, i.e, how is that considered thorough. They ignored me, and it went to trial at the municipal court on May 4, 2006. The Municipal Prosecutor was asked by me, if she wanted to assist in the prosecution of the downgraded charge. She knows me from the past TRO's. She went to the Muni Judge in open court and stated on the record that she would recuse herself, as she knows me to be aggressive against my wife and she also counsels victims of Domestic violence and she feels intimidated by me, and is considering harassment charges on me. Keep in mind, all the past TRO's and harassment charges tagged to the TRO's were defeated by me in the same Muni Court. I guess she is still soar. The judge tried to put the prosecution of the charge over to a "conflict prosecutor". I objected and told the judge I would prosecute the claim. He stated that he would give me no slack and I would be held to the same standards as the prosecutor. I told him, "Fine, let's proceed." The trial commenced. I called the two police officers that were dispatched to the call of May 2005. They testified that my wife did claim I hit her and she was in fear for her life, etc. etc. etc. The police report was certified and entered into evidence. My wife's attorney objected many times, but I overcame the objections. I offered the audiotape and marked it for identification. My wife's attorney objected, stating the chain of custody issue. I then testified as to the custody and showed the court it was secured, and also the tape was already admitted into evidence, by the higher court in the domestic violence trial. The judge had no choice but to admit it into evidence. The tape was damning and showed my wife's obnoxious and aggressive nature. The way her mouth ran, a reasonable person could only conclude she was an abusive, out of control, aggressive woman that would go to any extreme to have her way, and then play the perfect victim when the cops show up. I had an iron clad case, and she was ready to be convicted. She refused to testify on her own behalf. My wife's attorney moves to dismiss. I am floored. On what grounds I said. Her attorney pulls out a letter from the Prosecutor's Office showing the downgraded charge. Get this: My wife was originally charged with New Jersey Statute 2C:28-4(a) [filing false police reports] and the Municipal Court had the Downgraded charge listed at 2C:28-4(b) [lieing to a police officer with the intent to mislead], but the letter my wife's attorney produced showed the downgrade to 2C:28-5(b) [tampering with a witness, which is not a downgrade, it is still a 4th degree felony]. I was outraged! I told the court the letter I received from the prosecutor said nothing of the sort, and this was the first time I ever seen this letter. I also stated that my wife's attorney knew what the charges were as I responded to his discovery request relating to the downgraded charge of 2C:28-4(b) and he was perpetrating a fraud on the court. The judge commended me for my expertise in my prosecution and stated on the record that attorneys could learn something from me, however, in the interest of justice, his compelled to dismiss the charges because the benefit of the doubt must go to the defendant. I told the judge that he could rule it a mistrial and set another trial date. He overruled me and dismissed over many objections from myself. I even (as a last resort) quoted a New jersey case [State v Celmer] where it states that Municipal courts being non-constitutional courts, cannot decide constitutional issues. He overruled and dismissed. I was livid, but kept my composure. I went down to the Muni Court the next morning and got the disposition. The judge did not dismiss at all. He directed a verdict of NOT GUILTY on the original downgraded charge! That is not a dismissal. If it was dismissed, I could have brought the charges back up and retried. So here is my problem. I suspect a few things, i.e. Collusion and Fraud at high levels i.e. ex prosecutor (now Family Court Judge), ex parte communications by my wife's attorney. Prosecutorial tampering, Municipal Prosecutor Collusion with my wife's employer, Municipal Judge Collusion i.e. Direct verdict of Not Guilty instead of dismiss. My only remedy is to appeal the verdict on the criminal charges, and also appeal the decisions of the Family Court Judge to try and get remedy, and also bring Civil Action against the state. Of-coarse I need to get the record of all the proceedings which will be over a thousand dollars, as the proceedings are not short ones. I simply do not have these resources and I am losing fortitude. Not to mention, there is much research to do and I have a back injury right now that prevents me from doing heavy work (I am a builder and re- modeler). I am in a pickle here. If anyone can help me out in a monetary way, I would be forever obliged. If you cannot help monetarily, please drop me a line to help me defeat this fraud. If you can help with research, ideas, case law, strategy, procedural tact, pleading drafts, civil rights violations, racketeering, etc……. Please, Please, Please help. How do you create a master list in Excel that automatically is updated with data added to other sheets? I have Excel 2003 and I track accounts across 6 sales people in the office. I have a sheet for each salesperson as well as a sheet that is a master list of all accounts. I want Excel to automatically update the master list everytime someone changes or adds a new account. Fear of being bullied, what can I do to solve it? Alright, it's really not that bad because I can still socialize, but I do feel it's affecting me. I'm a 21 year old male, by the way. Every now and then, I get this irrational fear that if I step up, I'm going to get my ass kicked. If I ever piss someone off, I get scared that they (or someone else they know) will beat me up. Because of this fear, sometimes I have problems upholding my personal boundaries when they're being pushed by others. I am afraid to be honest with people and end up trying to be too nice of a person. And I have a hard time trusting people in general, so it's difficult for me to be close and build rapport with someone. I know my past has a lot to do with this. I've been bullied at school and work my whole life, I've been punished for stating what I believe in, and I've had a domineering older sister controlling me for most of my childhood. So I can definitely say my past has affected me. At least I am aware of the problem. As of right now, I made a list of boundaries and make sure no one breaks them. But I don't know what to do. Should I: -Take Martial Arts so subconsciously, I know I can defend myself in a fight? -See a therapist for help? -Socialize with more people I can trust, and eventually the problem will go away? Is it OK to run an illegal library from my locker at school? Let me explain. I go to a private school that is rather strict. Recently, the principal and school teacher council released a (very long) list of books we're not allowed to read. I was absolutely appalled, because a large number of the books were classics and others that are my favorites. One of my personal favorites, The Catcher in the Rye, was on the list, so I decided to bring it to school to see if I would really get in trouble. Well... I did but not too much. Then (surprise!) a boy in my English class asked if he could borrow the book, because he heard it was very good AND it was banned! This happened a lot and my locker got to overflowing with the banned books, so I decided to put the unoccupied locker next to me to a good use. I now have 62 books in that locker, about half of what was on the list. I took care only to bring the books with literary quality. But is what I'm doing wrong because parents and teachers don't know about it and might not like it, or is it a good thing because I am starting appreciation of the classics and truly good novels (Not just fad novels like Twilight) in my generation? More books I have: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest The Picture of Dorian Gray Slaughterhouse-5 Lord of the Flies Bridge to Terabithia Catch-22 East of Eden The Brothers Grimm Unabridged Fairytales. ...the list goes on. Twilight is banned also, but I don't want that polluting my library. As for getting the press involved, reporters are not allowed on campus. Besides, my parents would be so mad if they found out I was doing this.

Good free program for day to day to-do-list? I've tried small widgets from yahoo widgets, and other similar things, but I can't find anything more convenient than word. I just set up headings, which are simply days of the month, and then leave a spot to write in what I need to do every day. It works quite well, but I'm wondering if there's anything better. Perhaps just a calender might be good, but those usually have a lot of clutter and it takes a long time to enter things. The windows calender sure seems complicated.

Why can't I send email to the address list entries that I click on? Many times I want to send an email to a subset of 1 of my mailing lists. However, when I go into the mailing list, select the entries that I want to send the email to, and click Compose, those entries don't appear in the "To" portion of the email ...
