How do I created an unbulleted HTML list? I don't want to create an ordered list. I want to create a normal list minus the bullets. I have searched and searched online for the answer to this but have yet to find one. A lot of websites use them and they look nice. Just can't find one to use as an example. They're not numbered, bulleted, or definition lists. Nor are they nested. They're just simply unbulleted lists. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a set definition or list of narcotics I can use as reference? I am chronically and apparently progressively ill and undiagnosed, going to MANY different doctors constantly, on and off all sorts of drugs. And lately I have noticed either their all misinformed about medication, or they ALL disagree on what counts as a narcotic. I was prescribed fioricet a while back assured it was non-narcotic, another doctor seemed to back that only for a doctor to point out it IS a narcotic and apparently highly addictive. Which bothers me, not because I assume at my stage of illness I can AVOID narcotic use, but because a narcotic obviously warrants very special attention when you're using it, and definitely needs to be used with discretion. So I was wondering first off, what the set definition of "narcotic" is, and secondly, if there is some sort of official list of medications which count as narcotics. I apparently can't trust doctors to really know those things, or be honest about it, so I was hoping there was an easier way to do it myself. I appreciate any good information you can give me for future reference on this topic.
Why won't IE allow one to apply style to a list header element? I've been trying to apply style to the list header element in a definition list to make it appear to be a subheading. It works well in Firefox (best browser ever), however when IE renders the text it removes all style... why is this, and is there a way around it?
Will you list me some Free Jazz albums that fit this definition from Wikipedia well? "Free jazz and the related form of avant-garde jazz broke through into an open space of "free tonality" in which meter, beat, and formal symmetry all disappeared, and a range of World music from India, Africa, and Arabia were melded into an intense, even religiously ecstatic or orgiastic style of playing[51]." (Source: Wikipedia Jazz Article). I want to hear some free tonality stuff.
Political Correctness insanity check: can you list the word that fits this definition? Definition: 1. reluctant to give or spend; stingy; miserly. 2. meanly or ungenerously small or scanty See if you can type this word and post it. Edit: Haven't things gone a little too far when a word is censored because of how it sounds vs. what it means? Apparently the slippery slope doesn't alarm many people. http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-nig1.htm

How do I separate a list of definitions? Do I use a semicolon? In my paper I have to come up with my own definition for three journalism concepts. I introduce the definitions by saying "...the following definitions can be constructed:" Do I use a semicolon to separate the definitions? So, do I say - "...constructed: Def A; Def B; Def C?" Also, if I DO use a semicolon, do I capitalize the first letter of each letter starting after the semicolon? Oops, sorry. "First letter of each sentence."
Full list of English words with word type (noun, adjective, verb, etc) and definition? I am looking to parse a large number of English words that also contain the information of what type of word it is (noun, adjective ,etc) and its definition. A spreadsheet is preferable as it makes it a lot easier to parse. I currently have a list with 100 000+ entries but it has no definitions. I saw a *NIX list but it only has 25 000 entries and has no definitions or word type info. Your help is much appreciated.

Where can I find a list of vocabulary words? I don't want a list of words with definitions next to them. I just want a large list of as many essential, useful words as I can find. English is my first language, so I'm doing this to enrich my vocabulary, not to learn the language. You might say, "Look through the dictionary", but that is not efficient because I just end up coming accross mainly obscure words that I won't end up using. I've found sites that are perfect and have a whole bunch of essential vocabulary words, SAT sites, GRE sites and the like. The problem is that the lists take up too much space. They're arranged so that the definitions are next to the word. And you cant just select and paste the words without also pasting the definitions, so it ends up being over 100 pages. I could just extract each word one by one, but that would take hours. I just want a list that I'll be able to paste into Word and shrink the type down so it takes up less space. Is there a site that has lists of words written like a run-on sentence? PLEASE READ ALL OF THE ABOVE AND BELOW BEFORE ANSWERING THE QUESTION I want a list or lists that are not arranged in a table. I want to be able to shrink the type down in Microsoft Word in order to fit more onto one page. I don't have my own computer and I'm doing this at a library and it costs money to print so I want it in as few pages as possible. I'll show an example of what I want below: abey assail obfuscate elude barrage promulgate harangue insinuate voracious concomitant verdure etc., etc. Not neccessarily just those words in just that order, but a list written in that fashion. If they're written like that, they will take up less space than if they're written with the word and the definition next to it. I hope I made this clear enough.

"Indecent Liberties with a Child"...what's the mildest definition of this crime? Neighbor on the List... I just found out my neighbor (not a friend) is on the registered sex offender list for the crime listed above. Does this mean he was convicted of some really bad act with a child, or could it have been a relationship he had with a sixteen year old when he was 19? I don't want to assume he's a monster if it's possible he was just stupid. Any legal information would be helpful. Thank you! (Don't worry, he's not getting near MY kids either way!)

Is there a website that has a list of what the current versions are of different spyware programs ? I checked CNET, but it appears that they are not up to speed on everything. For example , I checked pepiMK software and they have a new version of Spyware Search & Destroy 1.5 , but CNET says the current version is 1.4 . I found a website a couple of years ago that had a long list of programs and what their current version is and when they came out with new definitions. I wish I could find "that" website again.
