What are some great sites to sell direct marketing consumer lists to businesses quickly? I have some direct marketing lists that I want to sell. They are generalized, regional specific lists (mostly customers based in Florida) and I want to try to sell them to people looking to expand their businesses, either those located in Florida or trying to build a base in Florida. I am selling them cheaper than the going rate because I am just getting started. And while I know a lot of people sell to bigger direct marketing companies, I don't really want to go that route right now. Any suggestions? High traffic/high response sites preferred.

What is the best Email Marketing software/service for a company with multiple mailing lists? We are a mid-sized business growing our customer base. Our emails range from customer assistance to product promotions. We need to be able to send approximately 40,000 to 60,000 emails a month. We prefer to be able to update our own customer and prospect databases with the opt in and opt out information rather than duplicating the data from our service. And we would like to handle opt-outs per list type, (opting out of product promotions does not stop the regular newsletter, and opting out of the newsletter does not opt the client from service notices.)

Business Technology or Business and Marketing? Hello, I am 19 and will soon be entering a community college for a 1 year certificate. However, before I start I really want to make sure I am going down the right career path for me, since I still have time to change it without being penalized. I didn't really have any help when I picked my career path, and based it on a few things: * an incomplete list of possible paths. The college has a catalog with different career paths, but at the time these were gone so my career manager gave me a sheet of paper that had much less information on it then the catalog. * I wanted a career path that would make money. I thought that business would be good for this, and I picked Business Tech because I have a decent amount of knowledge in tech and thought that I would be able to do at least ok in it. However, when I went to a STAR seminar one of the teachers suggested Business and Marketing as a possibility too. so basically I just had a few questions: 1. Is one considered the better than the other? Like lets say you feel you can do evenly in both, does one usually have better career options, like higher paying jobs or easier to find jobs? 2. How do I sell a restaurant/privately-owned business? I am trying to help a family member sell their restaurant business. The property and the business are privately owned (not leased). The revenue on the business is not high, largely because this person has no idea how to run a business, nor has the energy to do so. This person doesn't want to list the property with an agent, and doesn't have the budget to advertise it on online sites that charge. Therefore, as I mentioned in the question, there is no likelihood that this will be listed with another agent. Besides which, this property has been listed with agents (3 of them) before and, as is often common with listing agents, the agents sat on the property assuming that a buyer's agent would sell it for them. Seller's agents have access to the same information we do...which is comps on similar properties, newspapers, and venues of advertising. What if one of my former clients decides to call me and change firms? How do I advise them? Do I take the client on? Do I politely say it would be a conflict of interest to have them switch firms? Would there be a legal problem as a result of taking them on? For years I've had my hair and nail techs call me and tell me they've switched to a new salon and there were no problems as a result. My business is a services firm. Thank you There is not a "do not compete" agreement between anyone.
Good way to start a business? I was looking through the questions on starting an online business a while back, and I found an answer that I wanted to look into but never got a chance. Its something I have heard of before. It has to do with affiliate marketing, where all you do is get a website and list other peoples products on it and you get a percent of the profit. How can I find a listing of websites by non-English speaking companies wanting to do business in/with English? Is there or how can I find a database or source listings of non-English speaking company websites for businesses (preferably start-up) outside of North America/UK who are specifically trying to do business with English speaking markets. This goes for ANY business, regardless of product. I thought that maybe any company seeking to do business in, say, the USA, maybe has to register their website somewhere and I could find them?????? Let me clarify, I know the prevelance of the English language. I am looking for a listing of websites of companies in countries in which English is not the native language, specifically Asian companies such as Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, that have provided an supplemental English webpage in addition to their native one in order to communicate with English speaking individuals and businesses in order to establish a business relationship. For example, there are a number of Japanese bicycle manufacturers who are attempting to break into the US market. As an attempt to do so, they have provided an English only supplement to their website. Another example is Seoul National University. It wants to attract students from abroad. It too provides an English specific component to its own website.
What will the declining real estate market do to the condo conversion business? I'm considering joining a condo conversion firm in California, but am worried about the timing and how the business might fare given recent weakening in the housing market. Intuitively I'd think if real estate prices are dropping, fewer people will be converting into condos, so it might not be a good move for me. The guy who's trying to hire me is saying that the condo conversion biz is market independent and is a generally strengthening trend. Need advice on cold calling sales from small business owners? I have a business that we market legal service membership which also includes a membership to a website that is full of resources for small business. Right now I'm using a free directory listing to get me into the door of the small business. I have tried cold calling over the phone with a short script and setting an appointment to go in for the free directory listing. This leads me into talking to them about our legal service membership while I'm there getting their information for the free directory listing. I have also tried walking in cold and asking for the owner or maybe I already have their name and I try to set an appointment to come back in for their directory listing or if they are free I can do it right then. Again this all leads me into talking to them about my service. What my hang up is, I'm not sure if cold calling over the phone is better than just walking in off the streets. How should I introduce myself and explain why I'm here so I don't sound like the typical run of the mill sales people?? If you have a business, why do you choose to talk to some sales people versus others? Do you prefer someone just walking in cold or would you like for them to call you and set an appointment? Please give me your feedback and any advice you have.

How do I get my small business to index for a large city nearby? I live in a small town and my business indexes great. I am doing well in both google and yahoo. I own a small business and I need a network solution? I own a small business that just started a marketing/sales campaign. We have two people working on sales. They open an "account" and then they list all the contact theyve had with them on the front of a piece of paper then on the back, list all the phone numbers and addresses.
