I am looking for the top work at home businesses. I am compiling a list...? ONLY legit HOME BUSINESSES need answer this question. You will get lots of interested candidates from my list....but believe me when I say I will thoroughly check out the company that you submit to me and only a select few, the top 10, will make my list which I will HIGHLY advertise. If your business is chosen you will have the opportunity to write a short article about your business for all to see. Then, they will be able to contact you directly. You need to GIVE ME your email address. Don't make me look through your profile for it. You can email me as well at amyneliot@aol.com. AGAIN - Let me be CLEAR - I am making a list of the top 10 LEGIT home businesses. Submit your business to see if you will appear on this list. Only ONE person from each business will be on this list. The fact is that this list will go onto a national ad campaign. My question isn't supposed to look good. I want to wean out all of the scammers who I KNOW will reply. Submit ONLY legit home businesses.

Is being a Freight Broker all that it's cracked up to be? My husband is a commercial truck driver and since I'm home all day with a 4 year old who will be going to school soon I've been doing some research on Freight Brokers. It was named one of the top ten home businesses and it sounds pretty lucrative, plus I feel that I have what it takes since prior to becoming a stay at home mom I worked as an accountant, an auditor, as well as a few customer service and admin jobs. Does anyone have any advice, or insider information about this business? Or tips on where to get my license, initial steps to take, or even just personal stories about your experience? I would especially like to know about the initial few months since I read that it takes some time to get yourself established. I'm the type of person who jumps into things with both feet and I just want to make sure that it's a good decision for myself as well as my family. Thank you for any info you might be able to offer!

Does anyone have any experience working from home? I have had serious health problems in the last 2 years and have been unable to work on a regular basis. I have recently been diagnosed with a painful, degenerative bone disease. I am going to have to have total hip replacement surgery in the next few weeks. I will be unable to work for 3-4 months. Once that hip heals I will have to have the other hip replaced and will be down for ANOTHER 3-4 months. I do not have the money to invest in an at home business. I was hoping to find a job that I could do while on bed rest. I have a lap top and I am very good with computers. I also have internet access. I do not have a degree in medical transcription but I am a licensed veterinary nurse so I could also do medical transcription. I would be willing to do anything, even stuff envelopes. I just don't know where to look for these types of jobs. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
Top 5 smart ways to make serious money? Recently I asked a bunch of people I know the top 5 ways they think serious money could be made. The results were these: 1. Good Retirement/Stock Investments 2. Real Estate 3. Picking a home business, and working your butt off at it (even pet rocks made a million bucks!) 4. Going straight focused for a high demand career 5. Buying/selling/trading (jewelry, cars, etc.) What do you think of this list and/or what would you suggest in contrast to it? Any detail you could add?

My teenage sister has hairy legs n she wear minishorts at home n its an eyesore so how do i tell her tactfully? she wears mini athletic shorts and singlet tank top lounging at home most of the time. (we live in a tropical city therefore its summer all year round, therefore we dress light) she's in her teens n due to purberty, her legs have grown hairier, and she has hair under her arms. but she does not shave them. everytime i see them i feel its an eyesore but i do not know how to go about telling her to shave them, without embarassing the both of us. so what should i do? I figured if i tell my parents, they won't really bother much, as they work late and come back home late everyday. Furthermore they are short tempered and would treat such things as trivial, as they have more important businesses to see to.
What lights do I need for jewellery photogragphy at home? I use a Nikon D300 with a 50mm 1.4f lens and a white cube. I do not have any special lights at home for this purpose. Could anyone please recommend some table top lights and / or the appropriate bulbs for shooting pictures of jewellery at home. Hoping to turn this into a part time business
The computer guy I took my desk top to was weird. Is this creepy? He asked how tall I was how much I weighed said he liked my hair and how he loves what I am wearing. He looked at my history and saw my posts on facebook and asked if we can be friends. He gave me a card with his email address circled and said to email him. As I left he said how about a cuddle amongst friends. I paid him put it in the car and drove out of there. He runs his home business and works for himself.
Could some one help me come up with ideas for a work at home mom business (can't do a daycare)? My husband and I are at the place where we seriously need more income. I really want to stay as a stay at home mom, so I am trying to think of ideas for some sort of stay at home work. I have researched on the internet for places hiring and all I've found are scams. The only work at home job I can think of on the top of my head is a daycare, and I really don't want to do a day care-I also don't believe our tiny one bedroom apartment would pass inspection. What do you do for money to help supplement your husbands income? We have savings from before our son was born, but it's slowly dwindling. We are currently paying rent on one place and paying for construction and making payments on our property-pretty soon our expenses will drop, but I doubt our savings will last until we finish our house and drop paying rent and all the building expenses. What do you do to make money when money's super tight?
How do I get my business to show up on the "Local Business Results" on Google? We're renovating a space in my home to open up a music studio. I can legally do this but I can't hang a big sign up over my house. I'm not sure what the laws for advertising an at-home business is. When you type into Google "violin lessons Andover NJ" the top of the page is a list of local businesses. I want to get on that list. How? Thanks.
How does work at home online work? I sometimes see online advertisements about "work at home". I was wondering how they work. Is that like they want you to pay some money to start the business and ask you to run a similar web site to get start-up fees? Like old pyramid scheme? Only the top of the pyramid can get much money? If so, I was wondering if it's legal and if I can really make money as advertised. It seems some sites put CNN or ABC or New York Times logos on the pages.
Be aware of work-at-home scams? I've noticed that a lot of the people in this section say they want to supplement their disability income with money from a home based business. I've been interested in that stuff before but be careful of that. That's like one of the top 10 scams of our modern world! Yes there's legit ones in certain fields such as medical transcription and a legit one doesn't promise you like thousands or millions of dollars just by working part-time. And also I guess my question is, do you think scammers see SSI or SSDI recipients as easy targets?
anybody any views on phoenix trading - the card selling "home business"? hi, has anybody had any experience of dealing with phoenix trading - good or bad? I'm looking into it at the moment. Plus how do i track down all the little fairs/table top sales in my area? Obviously newspaper but they don't seem to be in there - anywhere else? no news is good news then?!
Stay at home mom overwhelmed? I don't know if I'm crazy or what but my husband can't understand me. Let me start of by saying that I am a stay at home mom of our 10 month old daughter. I've always worked before. My daughter is breastfed and super attached to me. She doesnt crawl, doesn't like her walker for more than 10 minutes and will not play by herself. She also cosleeps and wants to pacify on me all night. I am overwhelmed and so tired. I feel like I work 24/7! During the day i can't go to the a bathroom without her throwing a fit. Not to mention taking a shower or making breakfast or lunch. I eat something fast while holding her in my arms. I also run a small part time business (from home) and help husband with his (do all his accounting, advertising, admin, etc). I keep on asking for me time for some rest but the exuse is that she's breastfed and he can't soothe her. On top of all this hubby wants an hour per day to study for some exam. Even worse he told my uncle (who by the way looks down on women including my auntie) to tell me 'hey you should watch the baby and have your husband study once daily for an hour uninterrupted by you and the baby' Thats what made it worse. that he discussed it with someone else without asking me! Well he knew that it wasn't right to ask me since i am overwhelmed as is and can't wait sometimes for him to get home just to keep an eye on the baby so i can prepare dinner and take a shower. By the way hubby doesn't know how to cook ANYTHING, doesn't help out with household things at all. Am I at wrong for feeling upset? Its not that I don't want him to study for an hour its that I need a break too but it never about me ever. Not to even mention that I am loosing so much hair. I've never lost this much hair and know it can happen postpartum but that already happened. Its gotta be all the stress. I can't pick up enough hair pieces off of my shirt BTW - freezing food sounds good but hubby will not eat frozen foods :( go figure He'd rather go buy but then whine about me not cooking afterwords...
How can the City of Chicago deny me access to my own home? How, exactly, is it legal to block off whole neighborhoods and deny residents access to their own homes? Friday, August 22, 2008 the city of Chicago blocked off the whole area from West Madison Street to Van Buern and city of Chicago employees at the road blocks refused my plea to allow me, a disabled resident, access to my home, which was a quarter block from the road block... A full half a block before Jackson Blvd, where all races and other bullshit usually take place! We had to drive around and around our neighborhood for over HALF AN HOUR before whatever the hell was going on in our neighborhood ended and we were allowed to go home. We stopped at each road block and tried to talk to the people guarding the road blocks to ask if we could go the quarter block down the road to the alley way we need to enter to legally park at my residence. I showed them my handicapped sticker, they refused to listen and threatened us with ticketing if we stayed there any longer… I showed them my crutch and the handicapped sticker the next loop around the neighborhood and again, they said if we stopped them one more time, we would be ticketed and they would call the police. We were totally denied access to our home! They said to park where we could and walk in. The only problem there is that the streets were blocked off for four blocks north and south and six blocks east and west so I would have to walk at least half a mile, if we could find parking, just to be able to get to my apartment. As a person that is disabled, I can tell you right now that it would have been an impossible task without having to go in to storage and getting out my wheelchair. How the hell is it legal to totally deny residents access to their homes? How is it legal to allow the people directing traffic to threaten arrest if we attempt to simply go home??? Will this require a lawsuit against the City of Chicago? Because I know a minimum of 10 MASSIVE apartment buildings that would love to join in to a lawsuit for being denied access to our homes on top of at least a dozen small businesses that were forced to shut down due to City Interference. I'm going to write my alderman, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, and as many forums as I can find to try and get this bullshit to never happen again... This happens CONSTANTLY in the summer! Whenever the City wants to throw a Race, Block Party, "Taste of" whatever... They just block off all major streets in and out of the neighborhood... Before, they have never denied me access to our homes... But this year, this is the 2nd time that we have had to drive around and around our whole neighborhood just TRYING TO GO HOME!! How on earth is this legal??? PLEASE tell me what you would do in my situation!!!
I would like to become a stay at home mom. I am working full time with varying hours.? It seems like I have no time to spend with my family. My husband is just starting an at-home small engine business that is hitting off very well. In the fall, my daughter starts pre-school which is an added expense on top of the daycare. I really feel like all I have time for is to sleep and work! I really want to stay at home with my daughter, since she is the only one we are able to have and I am missing out on way to much. Finances are the only thing keeping me from that. Anyone have any advice on where to start?
What should I be looking for in buying a new computer, possibly networking with my older one? I used to be pretty good with computers, knowing what’s what and such, but I’m finding myself a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I have a 5 year old HP computer, that when I bought it was top of the line and has done me proud. But I’ve been entertaining the idea of getting a second computer for a while now. Possibly a Dell. I use my HP mainly for writing, publishing, casual work at home business, and of course internet access. The purpose of the second computer is entirely for fun – gaming!, music, movies, pictures, and other medias – but also – internet access. So, how do I do this? Is my answer as simple as splitting the internet line so that I can have both computers online at the same time? Or should I be looking into some small business computer with networking functions? Any suggestions regarding what I should be looking for? (because let me tell you how very UNeducated the people are at say, Best Buy … ugh) Anyway. Thanks for your help!
Has anyone worked at a Cheesecake Factory in Texas? Hi, I would like to pick up a second job and I have been seeing advertisements for the cheesecake factory here in San Antonio. So, I am going to apply tomorrow when they open and talk to the manager on duty. I have been working in the restaurant business since 2007 and am currently employed at one of the top two upscale BREAKFAST businesses in the United States (The Egg & I) I am a server there, I have hosted at Chili's and Le Peep. I also was a receptionist at a home based business so I do have customer service experience and very use to working with different types of people. What I would like to know is, if anyone has worked there before... What is the starting pay for the hostess/front desk coordinator? A second job is very important to me right now and I need to be making a nice amount of money weekly or bi-weekly and knowing the pay would help me estimate my check amounts. So, if you have any idea about starting pay, that would be great. Also, for all of the managers out there... what are you looking for in someone who comes into apply? Any advice helps. Thanks :)
why are more citizens choosing to stay at home and avoiding going outside ? why is America so interested in punishing people ? everything is a crime. normal things is a crime. i remember when people road by and hit your mailbox. kids thought it was fun. but of course the home owners didn't. now that is a serious crime. a teen was video taped sitting on top of a bus while it drove by. people on the street thought it was funny. but the police issued a city wide reward for a tip leading to the teens arrest. a little 12 year old girl was collecting money for a charity and keeping the money. they reported this on the national media. like who hasn't done that when they were a kid. then we complain that teens and adults are staying in the home more and going out less. i think we should stay home. don't support businesses don't buy stuff don't hang out at the mall. don't go to festival lets all just stay indoors. it is way to uptight outside. when you step outside there is some law your have to follow. life is way to serious & boring.
Homeschooling Schedule? I am planning on homeschooling my children (ages 2&3) and I would like to get into a routine soon so I can be ready. Does anyone know any great resources of how to juggle cleaning, cooking, homeschooling, basically, being a stay at home mom and teaching her two children? I am in DIRE need of order in my life! On top of having 2 toddlers, I also am starting an at home business of running a greenhouse and raising plants. Any personal tips would be appreciated, as well as any resources on how to juggle my daily tasks.
What are my chances for majoring in Computer Science at UC Berkeley if everything works out? I'm currently a sophomore and I have a 3.6 gpa for the first semester. I currently can't take any honors or ap classes because my school doesn't offer it. I go to a charter school and all the classes are " college preparatory" and its considered the one of the best schools in my city and the best school in its system. Sophomore Year: GPA of 3.6. I'm gonna take 2 community college courses to help boost my gpa so I should get at least a 3.8 gpa for my sophomore year. Extra Curricular Activities: I go to a Vietnamese Buddhist Temple every Sunday since freshman year. I am the founder of the chess club and the comedy club and I'm the secretary of the art and key club at my school. I also intern at a home business that specializes in computer severs. Plans for Junior and First Two months of Senior Year Get a GPA of 3.8 or above. I'm also gonna try to take 3 summer classes to help boost that up more. One of them might also be at UC Berkeley. Continue all the clubs above. Still intern at the server place. I'm also gonna try to get two to three more internships. One of them will be either at Google or at Cisco( the company that made the flipcam). ASB President and 4H robotics and Temple. SAT of at least 2150 or above. So this is what I should have before I apply: Sophomore Year 3.8 GPA Chess Club, Comedy Club, Key Club, Art Club Sever Internship and Vietnamese Temple Junior year: At least a 3.8 or above with 2 too 3 summer classes( one of them at uc berkeley and one or two of those classes will be computer classes). All the club above. ASB President and 4H robotics Sever internship and two to three more interships( one of them at cisco) at LEAST 500 hours of community service. SAT of at least 2150 or above. Senior Year: ap environmental science and ap government in addition to the 4 to five summer classes with everything above with another internship at another tech company. Personal Statement: Imma talk about how I grew up with a younger brother with autism an how that has made it hard for me to focus on my work since I have to spend a hour everyday helping him with his work on top of all the stuff I did above but how i'm very grateful to have him in my life and how I want to take care of him when I grow up. The second essay will just highlight all my leadership skills. Additional Info: I'm first gen and part Vietnamese and Chinese. My class has only 140 students and i think only 13 have a gpa of 3.6 or higher. And in those 13 students, only 2 of them show extra curricular similar to mine. My school is only 4 years old and only one senior got into Cal for sociolgy and his stat isn't so hot from my perspective. The only thing that I think worked for him was his 4.0. Other than that, he only took 3 ap classes, karate for a decade, a sat of 1830 , asb president for a couple of years, drama club , and 2 internships in graphic design and music studio. He is also white and asian. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
What type of legal documentation do I need to ensure compensation at the end of a technician service order? I'm getting ready to start taking technical support service calls on computer equipment on-site as a full-time consultant for an home-based business that I am developing. The labor rate is going to be $20 per hour for residential and $40 per hour for business on top of a travel rate of $0.75 per mile for residential and $1.00 per mile for business. So basically what I want to do is: 1. transfer the legal right of possession of the equipment to my company on-site, or stop and bill for travel 2. waive the liability of data loss / loss of limited manufacturer warranty for certain procedures on-site, or stop and bill for travel 3. start and finish work on-site, or stop and bill for partial work and travel 4. receive compensation on-site, or stop and bill for work and travel and leave with held equipment, then bill for holding equipment off-site at a rate of $5 per day beginning the first day after invoice date (all of which will be required to release equipment back to customer) 5. transfer the legal right of possession of the equipment back to the customer on-site, and smile a little knowing most people follow the rules and I have little to worry about Also, I want to document it in a single section of a 1-page form, which contains lots of information fields already, however, I am willing to use a 2-page form by printing on both sides of the page. This single purpose form should permit me to document the customer info, service order info, data loss liability waiver, manufacturer warranty liability waiver, backup/restore information, operating system installation information, hardware modification information, and probably more than that as needed. Basically I want to be able to pull a file and know what myself or another technician has done, and to do that requires lots of check boxes and empty blanks to fill in. So I don't have a lot of "legal room" to work with, but, with the correct font size, margins, paragraph settings I should be able to fit in quite a bit if need be. I just don't really know what to write, and I don't even know how to write the right questions for people that might know what to do. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David
Trouble with in-laws staying at our house? My in-laws live interstate. They chose to move away from our city as their two sons were not married and she wanted to be with her sisters. They visit twice a year and stay for weeks. Both my husband and his brother have small houses and although they think they are not getting in the way in my house there is stuff everywhere that I step over, the bathroom is dirty and I have to be polite and talk to them from morning till night. She washes up and tidies but it is just the general having guests in my face. It makes me not sleep and is very tiring. I am a person that likes my solitude and routine and for years have put up with having them stay, although each year I say less time that they can and it is now down to 3 nights only. I feel guilty and have told my husband that he must cater to them and if he wants to see them more to visit them at his brothers. This causes tension between us. I am dealing with an illness and I told my husband if he wants them to stay he had to do everything and I needed my space. They knew that I had the illness yet they still stayed and hung around putting pressure on me to organise things and go places as my husband didn't. They have left now, and I am drained and fighting with my husband. It is not fair. We did discuss that they stay in a hotel or move back to the city but they say they cannot afford it and only want to live in a house. Now they tell me they are going to give my husbands brother $40 per week so that my niece can go to preschool as his wife thinks that the fees are too expensive, but my brother in law spends all his money on top quality cameras and household goods which they know about as well. Why can't they save and spend the money on a hotel for a few weeks and then I can enjoy their visit more? I feel really trapped between my husband and his family and it is getting me down. My husband doesn't understand. Visiting them is a big trip and we run a home business and holidays are a rare thing. Help!
Need some ideas for keeping my preacher husband happy and making our marriage top-priority.? I run an independent home business online which recently has become lucrative enough for me to quit my day job in order work at home and be with my two kids. Leaving my job was the best thing for the kids. They are ecstatic. However, I think I am having an identity crisis, having worked full-time since I was 16. I don't really know what to do with my hands, so to speak, and my adult interaction is limited to talking to clients on the phone. My husband is a minister who works very long hours away from home. We are both very involved with the church. But he comes home from the church and wants to turn on the TV and blank out everything around him. I want to hear about his day and tell him about mine. I know this is typical of many marriages. However, I need some ideas to liven up our our marriage and make it more interesting. We do see each other a lot more now that I am home, but I am at my wit's end as to how to keep a smile on both of our faces.
Stay at home moms, do you ever feel stupid? I am a SAHM by choice. We agreed we would raise the children this way before we even had children. Whenever I'm around other moms that work, I always feel sooo stupid. Like, I'm not smart enough to get a job, like I'm beneath them. They don't actually say anything out right.... it's just a feeling I get. Their jobs always seem so important, so exciting. I don't have much to talk about other then the kids... I always want to scream out "I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business from a top 10 business school, I'm important too"! I swear I think some times they think I'm too stupid to get a job and that's the reason I stay at home..... Am I completely dumb for feeling this way?

How to start my online business? I want to start an online business. I'd want to sell Cellphone Charms, Jewelry (earrings and necklaces), Apparel (tops and hats maybe hats) and Bags (messenger, tote's, etc), plush toys, paper goods(like stickers), and other goods. I live in Florida and it would be an at home business owned by me and no other workers on the payroll. I have no idea what license's I need to get started and I'm getting really confused by stuff online. Someone please help me out here.

Do you have any suggestions for a home-based business that do NOT rely on Network Marketing or personal sales? I have two home based businesses that rely on network marketing and I'm sorry, they just don't work for me where I am located. The locals here on the border next to Mexico like to deal mostly in cash and they send it mostly to Mexico, they don't trust U.S. banks, they don't use credit cards and if they do, they are paranoid about system charging their account. They don't use internet, they often don't have voice mail, they don't keep appointments and are habitually late if they even show up. As a "stupid Gringo" to them, they don't trust anything Gringo says so ANYTHING having to do with person-to-person sales just does not work for me in this market...and I'm a top salesperson in every other market I've lived in. I'm here for the time being, though, and am looking for a home-based business that does not rely on person-to-person sales or even sales at all. Something more consistent and predictable that pays for the time and work put into it in a way you can count on it. Any ideas?
Where can I buy these for my business? I need some foam plates with the tops that close for a home-based food business. I wil be delivering lunches to my husband's job. Where can I buy these plates in bulk at lowest prices?
Any good mail solutions for a home business? I live in an apartment and run a high volume Ebay business. About 2-3 times a week I get large shipments of items from suppliers, and maybe 5-6 returned items on top of that. At first the apartment office did not seem to mind but I get the sense recently they are getting fed up with the large shipments and boxes they need to keep in the office until I pick them up. Are there any mail solutions for this kind of business? I know I can use UPS store but I think they will also bitch at me if I get a tiny mailbox that gets large box shipments almost daily. The business is growing and I need a scalable mailbox solution but there don't seem to be any.

I wanted to go to the police but my husband doesnt want to because of his mother, all this was done by his sister and her husband and his mom.. and he doesnt know what to do..I have a real state agent trying to sell the home but is taking so long. can someone tell me how can I sell the home faster than with a real state agent?? I am so mad at this people and now Im mad at my husband for not doing anything about it. our marriage is suffering please help!! Government favouring businesses- I recently wrote to Alan Johnson, Home Secretary? informing him about a device that my son and I had designed, which will cut down on anti-social behaviour and crime. I was asking about funding for manufacturing it and thought he would have been willing to help with advice, considering he had just been on the television stating that he was looking for ways of tackling crime. The response I got did not answer my question, and he pointed out that they did not support individuals? Fair enough I thought, I thought he would have been keen to assist considering he had just made it public that they were looking for ways of dealing with crime. In my reply they stated that the Government did not favour `individual services` but they did advise on using chains, bolts, locks and so on, which was outlined on the Home Office Website under `Crime and Victims.` Out of interest, I looked at their site and was shocked to see that they give out vouchers, which can be used in a `Major DIY Store.` I would say that this is supporting an `individual` service, and to top it all, the major DIY store I think they are referring to, is owned by an American Company. What a bloody disgrace...our small businesses are going under and the Government are giving out vouchers, supporting an already well established business. I took this to my MP who are now aware of my feelings on this. What are yours, do you think it is right that they give out vouchers to support already well established flourishing companies. It was the blatant lie that did it for me.
Headaches wake me up in the night. They throb at the top of my head and forehead.? I eat pretty healthy, drink water, all that. I have noticed one thing. I travel a lot on business. I only have these problems on the road when I drink red wine...otherwise I don't have them. I have them at home whether I drink red wine or not. My diet on the road is about the same as at home. So I think the problem is the house. I am going to get my house inspected for gas poisoning (I live in Midwest, and we're running our heaters now)...I'll have it checked for CO. Any other things I should have house checked for? I get the headaches at home no matter what I drink or eat (more susceptible tho if I use teriaki sauces because those use wine)
Why do I feel bad at being a home person? I worked for 9 years in a job I really didnt like and last year got made redundant. Since then, my Husband has gone to earning an extremely good wage which more than pays for everything we need and more. I have been looking for part time work but there isnt anything and my Husband is happy for me to stay at home. When people ask me what i do, I feel embarressed, but why should I be? I'm doing home study courses to learn how to start a business with my Husband on top of the usual taking care of the house and money. I am 32, aim to have a kid in the next year or so, so, why does society make it seem that there is a problem with how i live my life? I'm starting to get peeved when people sneer at the fact that I am a homeperson, making out that I am some sort of loser or something when all I am doing is making a good home for my husband and learning skills of going into business with him?
Skype help! skype is not working...? OK SO heres what happened: I have been using Skype for years. gone great i love it for the most prat some dropped calls but its fine. Let it be known I use Windows vista and I have skype 5.0. I've looked all over the internet. some people say change the port so its 80 for all incoming something or others. I looked where they said. it was already there. some people say uninstall and reinstall i did. same deal. some people say firewalls. well I looked at my firewalls and I made sure the box letting Skype get through WAS checked. and it was. I am going from a home lap top with no business or university connection I don't think any proxy's does anyone have anymore advice? :( I really want my skype back. thanks :)
New Puppy at home, new owner needs help!? Hi, I have recently just bought an 11week old toy poodle puppy. I am a first time owner and hope you dog experts out there can help me with some questions. (1) Excessive biting and hyperactivity The puppy loves to chew and bite, and his bites can be really quite painful! I have placed some coins in a bottle and shake it whenever the puppy gets ready to pounce and bite, but it only works momentarily as he would then bark at the dog, causing a lot of noise in the house. He would charge at my family members for no particular reason(like suddenly). I have tried many holding his front legs up, yelping and running away etc. but doesnt help at all! And to top it all off, he is very hyperactive and bites with more force every time we yelp or shake the bottle with coins. I try very hard not to lose it and shout at him, but he continues this bad behavior anyway. I put him in the crate but he whines incessantly. Can this problem be solved? I am VERY frustrated now(I am usually not a very patient person) (2) Potty training I live in a 2 storey house and placed my pup's crate on the 2nd floor, as my bedroom is upstairs and the dog breeder advised me to place my pups crate near me at night. hence, i cannot carry pup out in time for him to do his business. He likes to jump off my arms whenever i carry him too, which makes it very dangerous when carrying him down the stairs. I have allocated a spot for him to do his business upstairs and praise exuberantly when he does it correctly, but he still has many accidents. How can I successfully potty train him? Or can I leave the crate downstairs? Also, whenever I catch him almost having an accident and carry him to potty at the right spot, he would run off before I catch him and do his business somewhere else. Leaving smells doesnt help either. (3) Is it alright that I bring him outside to the public park for a walk? He hasnt had his 3rd vaccination and is having it this thursday. (I hope this tires him a little and cures his hyperactivity!) (4) What are the signs that I should look for if the puppy is sick? He has been chewing off my wallpaper lately although I already sprayed bitter orange. Will his stomach be able to take it? I will get him a checkup at the vet's on thursday along with his 3rd vaccination. Please advise. I might be able to take him to the vet earlier! (5) What should I look out for while bathing him? Do your dogs like baths? Thanks lots and lots! :D For (2), ever since he jumped off my arms(I did follow u guys' instructions) while i was putting him down a fell, he wont let anyone carry him. I experimented carrying him just now(from low height) and he would struggle in my arms, biting on the with force. I have a carrier to put him in. Should I still carry him or put him in the carrier while bringing him downstairs? Also, I heard from somewhere else that toy breeds are notorious for their difficulty to house train. Is that so? For (5), the breeder advised me to give him a short shower every 1 week or so. Maybe I should just wash his private area? (6) Is a pet bed necessary? I feel like getting my bundle of joy one but since he's such a biter he would probably chew the poor bed into bits and pieces and fabric down his throat?? (7) I am planning to go attend an obedience class. Is his age appropriate? Oh yes, and the puppy breeder just gave me basic info. like puppy proofing your house and all that in a file. He never got into such detail, so thanks for taking the time to teach me (: (8) I heard that if a puppy eats too fast, drinks too much water and runs around after that he could regurgitate food? if so, how can I treat it?(just wants to know) does its diet need to be changed??
How to make my home business successful? I recently began taking my talent for making crafts such as Homemade blocks and began selling them online through Facebook. Within the first 2-3 days I had 12 orders for my custom handmade block sets. I am 25 and a stay at home mom who decided to give a try at selling something I am passionate about and love doing. I created a Facebook page for my business, The Block Barn, and am currently creating a webpage as well. I am looking for any advice to get my business off to a great start that will continue to be great and not fall flat on my face. I have checked prices with similar shops and am selling under what they charge but still charging enough to cover expenses as well as labor. I am keeping receipts for everything as well as staying on top of orders. Is there anything special I need to be doing or consider doing? Any advice would be great!! Thanks!
Does anyone fancy a really home-based business oppotunity without putting much time into it? The company is called XanGo and it has done better than Ebay and Yahoo in its first year. Sherman Okkafer who used to be in the banking industry came up with a very simple system that works. His business grew in 36 months to earn him a 6 figure income and a turnover of $150 million. If your interested in finding out why XanGo is so successful visit my website: www.mymangosteen.com/ paulhanson If you require any other information or would like to ask any other questions regarding XanGo and its benefits please email me at paulbryhanson@yahoo.co.uk otherwise just answer the question at the top and I will get in touch with you. What is up with a child in her home, wearing only her pj top and so what she was just punished? Answer this? I went to my Brothers house last night where he had a couple over visiting. My niece figured that Daddy was distracted and was a bad girl. She was in her pajamas at the time when Daddy took her to her room for a spanking over his lap. (I know that my brother sits down when he spanked Lisa) Lisa then came out afterwards in just her pajamas top and underpants to visit and play. The couple seemed to be bother by a 7 year old being dressed this way and more so that she got her pajama bottoms removed for the spanking. I think it is none of their business how my brother spanks? I also can see why anyone would object to a little girl in her own home wearing just her pajama top.
How can you get a stay at home mom to understand the life of a working mom? **Disclaimer - As a working mom, I have NOTHING against stay at home moms. It's not my business what you choose to do.** Ok, here's a short version of the story. I have a friend who is a stay at home mom. She can't seem to understand that I drive 45 min to work, drop off Johnny, work all day, go pick up Johnny, drive 45 min home, I'm lucky to have 30 min - 1 hour to play with him outside or something, and then we have to go eat dinner, get him a bath and then it's almost bed time. She doesn't get it and is upset with me because I don't come out to her house like every other night. I'm *exhausted* and to top it off, she lives an extra 30 min away from me, one way. I've tried to explain this over and over to her and every other month, she's pissed at me again. Any suggestions? (PS, Brody's Mommy thinks I'm really brave for asking this question here, LMAO) How did I know someone was going to try to twist this into a debate? thumbs down fairies came to visit. Sorry guys, thumbs up for everyone!
At this early date in the 2012 cycle is a Romney/Bachmann ticket the most likely for the Republicans? This is the way they couch their messages: Mitt Romney's website says; America faces exceptional challenges. Mitt Romney is an exceptional man with unique qualifications to lead our country through perilous times, restoring our strength at home and abroad. He earned dual degrees from Harvard Law and Harvard Business School. After working as a business consultant for several years, Mitt founded the investment firm Bain Capital in 1984. Under his leadership, Bain Capital helped to launch or rebuild hundreds of companies, including household names such as Staples, Domino's Pizza, and The Sports Authority. As Bain Capital was growing in prominence, Mitt returned to his old consulting firm, Bain & Company, as CEO. In a time of financial turmoil at the company, he led a successful turnaround. Michele Bachmann's website says; The reality is that her outspokenness comes at a price and the Democrats are already hatching plans to defeat her in 2012. Liberals are furious that they suffered such an embarrassing rebuke of their extreme agenda. They are blaming leaders of the Tea Party movement for their crushing defeat and have once again placed Michele at the top of their attack list. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is the first Republican woman to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Minnesota. Representative Bachmann has developed a reputation as a principled reformer who stays true to her constitutional conservative beliefs while pushing for real reform of the broken ways of Washington. In Congress, Michele Bachmann is a leading advocate for bipartisan earmark reform and tax relief and is a staunch opponent of wasteful government spending. S0...based on what you all believe I should ask this every quarter until the convention...okay! But that begs the question of the viability of the pair on this date, based on the current political activity.
My parents are deep in debt, need mine and my sisters income to survive but I just can't live at home anymore? *WARNING- long read* My parents used to own a successful company, and were doing quite well. During my last year of university (which happened to be the height of the recession) the CRA pretty much forced them to shut down over unpaid taxes which had accrued over that year (they had otherwise been very good about filing and paying the taxes, that year was just tough). My parents, not knowing the difference between personal and corporate finances, pretty much destroyed their own credit to keep the business in good credit standing as long as they could. Now that the business is gone, they pretty much have nothing to stand on themselves, have 2 mortgages and a slew of various credit card debts which they racked up trying to pay off debts for the company before it was shut down (it was incorporated, they just tried to hold on to it as long as possible). My sister and I have since been able to find jobs, my sister's paying roughly 22/hr and mine about 16/hr (she's 26 I'm 25). Between us (after paying our own expenses) we barely have enough to cover the monthly mortgage bills- forget about the rest. My parents are not really working; my dad is out of the country and was trying to set up training schools in his field, but the last I heard they weren't bringing anything in and he is pretty much lofting and "networking". My mom works real estate, which is commission only, but hasn't really been able to get things moving with that. She does bring in some money but not enough to make a difference. I've been telling her to find a position with salary/wages and do the real estate on the side, and she keeps saying she's trying but I just don't believe it- with her skills and qualifications it shouldn't be this hard for her, yet she's never even gone on an interview. Contacts she makes through her work keep offering her positions, but they're all profit sharing or commission only. My dad has pretty much decided he's going to file for bankruptcy, though again has been out of the country for quite awhile now, and even I don't know when he's coming back. My mom doesn't want to file bankruptcy, and is ALWAYS stressed about losing the house (which is under her name), yet hasn't done anything to try to figure out all her financial issues. She's already been sued by one company (though they didn't inform her of the case, so she can contest it, but she hasn't done that yet, and it's past the time they said to respond by in the last letter), she's BEING sued by another, and we've literally stopped answering our phone cuz of the collection calls. I've sent her countless articles on how to try to figure it out, I've given her so many phone numbers of companies or programs she can contact to try to get them to help her figure it out... the only knowledge of financial matters I have is what I learned through my mandatory finance/accounting classes in my degree (neither of those were my major, they're NOT my area of interest) and I've even offered to go through everything with her but she just keeps brushing me off. When I tell her I'm worried she says "You don't have to worry as long as I'm here" but I'm sick of hearing that! It means nothing at all. It really feels to me as if they're not doing anything at all to try to fix the situation. ON TOP of this, I'm treated like a CHILD. They always say I'm irresponsible, I'm not allowed out after dark- I'm routinely in trouble for being out "late" (barely even midnight), I'm constantly getting yelled at for my room being messy, I'm constantly berated for my pets, if I eat out then I'm told I'm wasting money, yet I constantly see my mom coming home with new clothes. I also recently found out that even though my sister makes SIGNIFICANTLY more than I do, I'm giving my family more money than she is! I gave 1400 a month while she - sometimes!!- gives 1200. Recently, my mom has started threatening to give away (and has actually tried to secretly sell) my dog. I have no doubts she's trying to do this with my cat as well. I was furious when I found out, and told her if she tried that again I would move out. This morning there was a huge thunderstorm and my dog was too afraid to go out, and ended up peeing in the house. My mom had a fit, started screaming and woke me up to clean it. Then she actually threw the fact that I told her I would move out back in my face. While I've literally wanted to move away from home since coming back from university (it's been almost 2 years now), I said nothing and I sat tight since I knew my family needed me. They've taken good care of me my entire life, and paid for pretty much my entire degree- the last year was the only one I got OSAP (gov't loan) for. I WANT to be there for them, but honestly, I just can't do it anymore. I feel Didn't realize my details were cut off. That last sentence should read: I feel so selfish for wanting to leave, but I can't stand it anymore. I've tried talking to my mom but it's like talking to a brick wall- nothing gets through! She just assumes I'm just whining and pretty much starts petting my head and saying "it's ok, we'll get through this" and so on. Finally, on top of everything else, my sister is getting married in December and I'm expected (was not even asked) to significantly contribute! Ps. My sister hates me, and I really don't like her either. I need some serious advice! I know this isn't the place for family advice, but if you have it I'll take it. More relevant to this section- how do I get my mom to stop being so ignorant about her finances? I've figured out a budget where I could still give abt $500/month if I do move out (assuming I find a place for a certain amt per month), but at the very least, I want to know that they won't lose the house if I leave. What ar
What is different today economic and fiscal policy wise in USA compared to 1965? to answer this question as precisely and accurately as possible, lets analyze some specific areas: Trade policy Federal Income tax top rates Budgeting/Deficts,surplues etc... Looking out for our workers, our businesses here at home etc. So, as we look at each one of these areas and compare what things were like in a period which can be said when we were at the height of our economic greatness as a country, and look at today and how things are......what is differerent????? how do we view things different, how do we do things different policy wise?
Why does my husband go through a manic stage after he has a stressful day at work? My husband can get get very stressed in his job to the point where he can get into arguments with people. He has a very successful business in the entertainment industry. He deals with many different layers of clients, agencies etc when working on a project. When he arrives home after an extremely stressful day, he appears overly elated, almost like he is tipsy from drinking alcohol. He swears he had nothing to drink or perhaps at the most only 1 drink. What is the cause of his over the top giddiness? It is adrenaline?

What is the best part time home based business, that's girly? I would like to start doing parties at my home or others' homes. I would like to start with candles, make-up, soap, etc. Something that can help me make money while still doing the girl thing. Nothing innapropriate though, because I would like to grow with it and help others to establish what I have established. And it's not at the top of my list to say, "Why don't you come join my XXX party"? I just need to know where the money is and is it something I can get easily started? If you have a source or someone I could talk to about starting, that would be great. Thanks ahead of time.
What are your thoughts on this? Taxation: Three great waves .... A must read, this is not bashing, it's the facts of one of Obama's "changes"....... MAKE SURE ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY UNDERSTAND JUST WHAT THIS OBAMA "CHANGE" IS GOING TO DO!!! In just six months, on January 1, 2011, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves. On January 1, 2011, here’s what happens... (read it to the end, so you see all three waves)... First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families. These will all expire on January 1, 2011. Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below: * The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15% * * The 25% bracket rises to 28% * * The 28% bracket rises to 31% * * The 33% bracket rises to 36% * * The 35% bracket rises to 39.6% Higher taxes on marriage and family. The "marriage penalty" (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut. The return of the Death Tax. This year only, there is no death tax. (It’s a quirk!) For those dying on or after January 1, 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes, a business, a retirement account, could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones. Think of the farmers who don’t make much money, but their land, which they purchased years ago with after-tax dollars, is now worth a lot of money. Their children will have to sell the farm, which may be their livelihood, just to pay the estate tax if they don’t have the cash sitting around to pay the tax. Think about your own family’s assets. Maybe your family owns real estate, or a business that doesn’t make much money, but the building and equipment are worth $1 million. Upon their death, you can inherit the $1 million business tax free, but if they own a home, stock, cash worth $500K on top of the $1 million business, then you will owe the government $275,000 cash! That’s 55% of the value of the assets over $1 million! Do you have that kind of cash sitting around waiting to pay the estate tax? Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013. Second Wave: Obamacare There are over twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare. Several will first go into effect on January 1, 2011. They include: The "Medicine Cabinet Tax" Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA), or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines (except insulin). The "Special Needs Kids Tax" This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on flexible spending accounts (FSAs) of $2500 (Currently, there is no federal government limit). There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States , and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington , D.C. ( National Child Research Center ) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can not be used to pay for this type of special needs education. The HSA (Health Savings Account) Withdrawal Tax Hike. This provision of Obamacare increases the additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent. Third Wave: The Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) and Employer Tax Hikes When Americans prepare to file their tax returns in January of 201
Cleaning Dog Parasites (Worms) at Home? Last week I adopted a 3-year-old beagle/chihuahua mix from a local shelter. On Monday, he had an accident (he pooped) on the living room floor while we were sleeping; I cleaned it up and didn't think much of it (that's the only time this has happened). This morning, however, after he did his business outside, I noticed a couple of little white wiggling thingies in his poop; I've taken a sample to the vet and I am expecting results, but I am pretty certain he has parasites. Here's the question: I've read that parasites can survive months (if not years) outside the body and be ingested/inhaled by humans, and I am concerned about having this risk inside my apartment (on top of that, my mom is a cancer survivor with likely permanently weakened immune system). Are household cleaning agents effective? Do I need to use bleach? What about carpets/sofas/etc.?

Where can I get a annual list of the top 20 home businesses? I'm searching for a real home business with little to no up front investment with proven results and I'm tired of folks hiding behind deception when presenting their business. Wanting to find someone straight-forward and down to earth that has a proven online or home business that works.

How do you start your own real estate/ rental home business? I live in Texas and have been wanting to get into real estate. I have met people who rent homes out and make tons of money. We have a lot of natural gas workers in the area and they pay top dollar to rent homes. Anyways, how does one get into this? Do I need schooling? Any info would help, thanks!!!
Could we promote green businesses by building apartments for employees on top of business buildings? Could we promote employers to provide apartment homes built on top of business for employees? I mean, what if every employer, or every business building had a apartment complex built on top of the business. And, if the employers got a huge tax break for each family living in the apartments built above their business. That would cut down on gas right? Affordable housing for the poor or middle-class, high tax breaks for employers, and cleaner air and less gas consumption for all. Is there anything we can do to promote this? This would reduce congestion on the highways, reduce the need for oil, and has many other benefits. James Star, I live only about 20 miles north of Seattle, and the prices for even a 2-bedroom apartment is staggering. It's hard to touch anything for less than $1000 per month.
Do I have to apply for a fictitious business name in CA for a home daycare? I already have an internet business that I run from home on top of my full-time job which I already have a fictitious name for. I plan to quit my day job and start a daycare in my home. Do I still need to apply and file for a fictitious business name if I am only offering services and not selling anything? Also where do I check to see if the name is available? I had someone else do the work for me the last time so I don't know.

I can't pick up enough hair pieces off of my shirt
What type of scanner should I purchase? I am looking to purchase a desk top scanner for my home business, but can't seem to decide what to get. I'm looking for something simple and compact that I can scan documents and receipts to a PDF file straight to my PC. I've been told about Fujitsu scansnap scanners, but find that there are more then one model. Again, I'm looking for something simple to scan black & white documents and receipts, and have no intentions on scanning photos or color documents. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
What is the trick to booting xp home? My friend has a lap top with xp home. When we turn on the computer it goes to a screen asking about safe mode etc. none of the modes work. It will flash off screen to windows logo and back to mode screen. He does not have a boot disk and needs to protect the files for his business. What can I do to help him?
Which is faster: XP Home or Vista Business? I have an opportunity to upgrade to Vista Business from my current XP Home. My top concern is, which is a faster system? My system meets the requirements for both (2.67ghz, 1.1gb ram, etc.) I have to do a clean install of Vista Business, so I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision with the upgrade!
Stay at home mom - feeling unappreciated? I don't know if this is common feeling for stay at home moms or what, but I feel unappreciated and not valued at times. My daughter is 1 yr old and I've always worked in the past. Currently I am collecting unemployment so it does bring money in (pretty much the same as if I was working minus childcare). I also run a small cleaning company where I bring around $500 per month, and help husbands business (write estimates, all online advertising - which is his only source of business, and he's doing very well). On top of that I take care of the house (cooking, cleaning, etc), and our daughter of course. I think that I have a lot on my plate, but feel like my husband doesn't think so. Is this a common feeling for stay at home moms? What can I do to help my husband see that I work hard too?

is it possible to run a business from home with a 3 month old who needs attention 24-7?? so i thought it would be nice to work from home AND be able to take care of my 3 month old... that would save me lots of money from having to commute (using up gas) and putting him in daycare (which is about 1K a month) i am also doing all of it alone (no significant other at this time) and on top of that taking care of all the bills.. do u believe its possible? and HOW?? i thought i would be able to do it..but it seems that i always get sidetracked whenever my son needs me..(which is every hour or so) and then i end up getting nothing done : / (i am doing a retail business online selling stuff ) if u are a work at home mom..what are the stradegies do get stuff done while taking care of a baby too?
Alright,I am over 20 and still having to live at home with my grandparents. No way I can move right now.? They like to control my every f***** move.My computer(Lap top's)hinges broke today and my grandmother told me that I am not going to fix my computer if it costs me 300 dollars. She has to hold my funds for reasons I will not say but I am mad because she is controlling my allowens telling me that I can not fix my computer when it's my own money. She pulls this stuff on me all the time in a lot of different ways. What am I suppose to do?I hate living at home.Talking with them DOES NOT WORK.She told me that I had to get one that sits on the desk. There it is again she pokes into my business.I can't do certain things. The computer desk is where everyone can see what I am doing.I am Screwed. What do I do?
Does anybody on Y/A work at Lowe's or Home Depot, but don't like their store's sponsored driver? I ask this because I worked at Home Depot & don't like Tony Stewart even though he is a top driver. I like Jeff Gordon & was told not to wear Gordon's jacket to work. My girlfriend's sister works at Lowe's & they told her not to wear her M&M's racing jacket to work. Maybe I could see if she wore a Home Depot Jacket & I wore a Lowe's jacket because that is their competiotion, but M&M's jacket. I eventually quit Home Depot, not because they told me not to wear jacket but I continued anyway, it was only jacket warm enough for the cold weather that I owned but because of store management & how little they knew about retail business
Why did Palin charge Alaska an allowance while she lived at home? "Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has charged her state a daily allowance, normally used for official travel, for more than 300 nights spent at her home, The Washington Post reported Tuesday. An analysis of travel statements filed by the governor, now John McCain's Republican running mate, shows she claimed the per diem allowance on 312 occasions when she was home in Wasilla and that she billed taxpayers $43,490 for travel by her husband and children. Per diem payments are meant for meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business. State officials told The Post her claims — nearly $17,000 over 19 months — were permitted because her "duty station" is Juneau, the capital, and she was in Wasilla 600 miles away. The governor moved to Juneau last year but often stays in Wasilla and works 45 miles away, in a state office in Anchorage." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080909/ap_on_el_pr/palin_travel_expenses In my experience, you use the per diem allowance when you're on a business trip to pay for hotels and meals. If she's choosing to live at her home in Wasilla and work in Anchorage, I don't see why she's charging Alaska a per diem allowance for that. She has a home there, so there's no lodging costs, and she can buy and cook meals at home just as easily as if she were in Juneau. Yet she charged the state nearly $1000 per month on top of her usual salary. Can anyone explain why Palin would do that? I understand it's technically legal because her "duty station" is Juneau, but I don't see how she can justify it to the taxpayers.
Your Opinion of Stay At Home Dads? I'm a guy who has his own freelancing business, and I work out of the house. My wife has a very well-paying, full-time job. Together, we have three kids, 12, 11, and 8. Because I have a much more flexible schedule, I do most of the cleaning, cooking, and laundry. I pick up the kids from school, ferry them to practices, etc. Our house isn't spotless, but it stays neat, and dinner is on the table when my wife comes home from work. At the same time, I earn as much as my CPA wife. Here's the thing. Lots of people think, because I'm not at a regular job earning a regular paycheck, I'm not earning money. The truth is, I make top dollar for what I do. But, for some reason I can't fathom, friends and family think I need to be at an office to make a legitimate living. So what do you do to reinforce that you really are pulling your weight? After enduring yet another bunch of yibes at my in-laws, I really need to know.
I want to be a stay at home Mom!? Currently I work for a top investment bank in Manhattan. It's a very demanding job, and although I had a great time playing career gal and traveling the country, I want nothing more than to quit my job and be a stay at home Mom! We both grew up in homes where our Moms were fortunate enough to stay at home and I want that so bad for our kids too. The problem is, it is very expensive to live in and around Manahattan and it would put a great strain on my husband for me to quit my job. I don't want to stress him out with a new baby and the pressure of the sole income provider (which would be a stretch). Any ideas on how I could supplement his income? I'm thinking about doing consulting work on my own, but a little afraid to take on my own business without any knowledge of really how to start that. BTW...We don't have a child yet, but are ttc :) My husband's field is very focused in Manhattan. I would love to move, but he is afraid of job options elsewhere and the pay
will u be watching Wallace and Gromit ? A Matter Of Loaf And Death sees the comedy duo with their own home bakery - Top Bun - and a new mystery to solve. While their business is booming, other local bakers seem to be disappearing in mysterious circumstances. Can they work out what's going on, or are they next? Originally called Trouble At' Mill, the half-hour film is made by the same people who created Shaun the Sheep.
Are there any jobs that I can do at home on my computer? I stay at home with my 7,8,and 11 yr old girls and I also take care of my 2 nieces, that are 7(and she is autistic) and the other is 7 months, but it is not enough money to live on, my husband and I own a business and it does well, we are just trying to get cought up and we need a little more income for a few months, all 3 girls birthdays are this next month and I must figure out how to make some money, legally! I have full internet and a brand new top of the line Dell with color/laser printer, so what is out there that I can do from home? Any ideas plz will help!!
Can I Get a Job at Starbucks? Barnes & Noble? I'm 20 years old and though i've never worked at an actual location, like a brick and mortar store... ...For the past 5 years have ran an eBay business from home, which has been quite successful and even helped friends open up their own business online. I went as far as to stop selling on eBay for a while to actually help aspiring people open up their own business on eBay. However, being a college student I feel it's time to get out there and stop crouching in front of a computer screen all day and am eager to begin working. I mention Starbucks as my top choice since my best friend works there and says it's a blast. Of course I could use him to help me get the job but we live quite far from each other...so essentially am asking here for all the possible advantages i might have and can use when attempting to get a job with Starbucks, or say, Barnes and Noble... ...considering my eBay experience.
What is your opinion on last night's brawl? Though I'm a Yankee fan, Jorge was out of line, but so war Carlson. I don't believe his pitch behind him was intentional, if you watch it again and see his hand, it seems like he over-yanked it and it wound up behind him. (Unless that's how he normally pitches) But a pitcher should be BACKING up home plate, Carlson was just standing almost on top of home, his glove sticking out, and Jorge had no business brushing him.. but either way, Carlson had no business just walking TOWARDS Jorge and antagonizing him. He should've got his mouth out, and walked back to the pitcher's mound. I was at the game when it happened, so it was kinda interesting at the time. I don't think Melancon's pitch was intentional either, if it was, it'd be a four-seamer, not a two seamer. Your thoughts? dhaidhuit - The Yankees aren't sending anything because they hit home runs, the Yankees aren't Vicente Padilla who hits guys for doing their job (killing his mistakes). Mitre's had terrible control in just about every game minus that gem against the White Sox. Melancon has 4 hit batters in 16 innings or something, he has a real lack of control and is working with that. So I don't think any of that was intentional. <3333333333333 - I say that because I think his extreme wrist snapping seemed odd, unless that's how he pitches. I guess it WAS intentional, but on first thought, from the grandstand near the foul pole, how was I supposed to know?

Where can I find serious business builders that are looking for a home based health and wellness business? I’m looking to expand my home based health and wellness business sharing proprietary products that are formulated in Switzerland, made in the US and target 6 key consumer markets. There are over 350 consumable products giving one a nice residual check rather then 1 time sales. Some of our top earners are making six figures and earning time and financial freedom. It's a secure and stable company (been in business 27 years), debt free, no territories to limit growth, no inventory, no sales requirements, unlimited income potential, free online training, online support, committed leadership, Mercedes Benz car program, with the most generous compensation plan in the industry. The company is booming with an average of 111% growth every year since 2002. I'm looking for serious business builders that like networking, group and/or 1-on-1 presentations, and sharing an opportunity. Is anyone in the US or Canada interested or know where I can find these business builders?
If a master suite was created out of existing space in a home, what is the approximate added value? The space is "useless" as it was used as a small boutique business. It has several small storage rooms and a "cash register" area and a commercial bathroom, and nothing that could be used by a family. If transformed into a master suite, adding a bedroom and full bath to the home, plus all the top amenities expected from a master suite, how much value would this add? The home is in the "upscale" price range for the area. This is a residential area that does have limited businesses within a few blocks. The former owner was granted a variance and it does not pass on. There were very strict rules for the variance and for reasons too long to explain, the city will never allow any business there again.
Does anyone want to work from home while helping prevent themselves (and kids)from getting cancer or tumors? A lot of work at home businesses are a bunch of bull. I am a 19 year old single mother and full time student. I am sick of the whole McDonald's or Kmart job. My mentor actually paid a company, that I filled out an application with to work from home, to get my name. Ever since then she has been great. We make such an awesome team. And on top of that, the products we buy, not sell, are all natural, unlike Tide which expires. When I found out that my sons shampoo and body wash has formaldahyde in it. Now, as you can imagine, I wanted to go after somebody. The stuff we use everyday is actually harming us instead of helping us. And I know everybody has kids or elders in their life that are especially prone to this. It's so shocking. So, I jumped at the opportunity. And it's not like those get rich quick scams, you actually have to work. You just do it from home. Sorry, I am not going to promise you something that's not going to happen. You control how fast and far you go.

I want to start my own auto detail business out of my home. What to think about to start? One of my favorite things to do is to clean my truck from top to bottom. This hobby is very rewarding when I see how beautiful my truck is when it is clean. I'd like to think this would be a great business adventure because I like it so much and don't see it as being "work". Plus, if I can make a money this would be an added bonus. Any thoughts or advice would help. As of now, I have my husbands shop he will let me work out of. There aren't many detail shops around here where I live, therefore, I think it would be a very profitable adventure.
