I've found it the easiest so far! But I need to get a professional site started & I just want to look good to those who will be critiquing my work! Also, I like the creativity with 360 Yahoo... but since it's still Beta, do you think it's wise or not to use 360 for a professional site? (Right now it seems more like a MySpace site... which in my opinion is over the top... more for personal sites.) I have just launched a really great wedding blog that will feature wedding resources and showcase event professionals and their services. This is a matter of the distortion of rights. It's INTENTION that reveals racism, and racism is a form of violence. The news article says an image (manipulated to make the face of Michelle Obama look like a monkey) was posted on a blog called "Hot Girls" (may have been removed), but currently the website linked to the gross image is a forum that's ridiculously over-the-top anti-government. The thread that was supposed to have contained the image reads like it was written by a Timothy McVeigh, or maybe the person you'd see at a G8 summit riot. Big quotes from civil rights leaders and news of their assasinations, lots of talk about "globalist pigs" and the government using "psychotechnology," mind control programs, social engineering, etc. The moderators of the forum apparently removed the image because it's no longer there, but Google thinks it's appropriate to leave it up on image search, apparently in the name of freedom of speech. About Google blogs from the news article: "Rubin [Google spokesperson] said Blogger users have to adhere to the site's terms of service, including a ban on hate speech, which the agreement defines as "content that promotes hate or violence towards groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation/gender identity. ...a determination of hate speech, under company terms, would heavily rely on whether a site was 'attacking or advocating attacks on a person.' The bomb on the weekly Muslim day of rest went off in Jamrud, a town in the restive northwest Khyber tribal region that is located on a key road used to ferry supplies to Western troops across the border in Afghanistan. "More than 50 people were killed and over 100 others were wounded in the attack. Twenty five of the wounded are in a critical condition," Fida Mohammad Bangash, a senior administration official in Khyber, told AFP at the scene. Only two minarets were left intact at the mosque, which is frequented by tribal police and paramilitary officers fighting against the Taliban and other Islamist militants in Khyber. "The whole of the mosque collapsed and only two pillars remain. People were crying," said Waheed Khan, a tribal policeman on guard duty across the road. "I haven't seen such devastation in my life," he told AFP. "At the same time that the imam said 'Alluh Akhbar (God is great)', the suicide bomber exploded. It was a huge explosion. Which of these web templates do you like best? Hi, I'm trying to make a personal website which contains a personal code portfolio, blog and possibly a forum, along with a contact page. I would like to think that I have a pretty good eye for design, but I can't create my own web design if my life depended on it. So, I'm taking a look at some free web site templates and I can't nail it down to just one. The style I am going for is a minimal theme where I can just say what's necessary and not have to type paragraphs upon paragraphs for filler. I'm not a wonderful graphics editor so I prefer a more text-based site. Is this worth the $$$? I am a Photographer in the Navy, and having AWESOME photos of my wedding day are TOP priority! We are having a country-Western wedding and there aren't too many venues for that in FL (go figure). My fiance is from WV but not much luck there either. Ended a long friend ship, now being harassed.? First of all, I am so sorry for how long this turned out to be. I really needed to get a lot off of my shoulders. I have been friends with a girl for about 11 years now. We met in elementary school and grew up together. Our whole friendship has been dreadful on me, and I will say the only reason I stayed friends with her so long is because when growing up, I was teased a lot and she was my only friend. Now I am married to a wonderful man and expecting our first baby. She got pregnant young, with a man 10 years older than her. I adore and love her daughter, but I just can not have this girl in my life any more. I am not sure if she has a jealousy issue, or what her problem has been, but all of these years she found ways to drag me down. When I was 12, my dad began a cocain addiction. I never had a problem with this, but the thing is, she will go on all of our networking sites saying that she can not stand when friends won't go and pick her up to hang out. She always tries to offend me through bulletins and posts. She won't make them directly at me, but it is in plain sight that they are. She asks me how I am doing, and how my photography business is doing, and how my husband and I are doing, and when I respond, she sends out a post saying how she doesn't care how great my life is, and all this stuff that I really can not bring my self to understand. She is very competitive as well. When she asks me what is new and I tell her, she has to top it off. Now I can deal with her being mean to me, saying harsh things about me, but now she is saying things about my husband. My husband recently lost his job, and although we are doing very fine with money right now, he feels very bad that he is not the one supporting his family. She recently sent out another post saying that her friends husband is a low life and needs to step up to the plate and that this mans wife needs to stop motivating him because he should be doing it himself. Like I said, it is never directed to me, but it is plain to see who she is talking about. My husband won't say, but I know this hurt him. This is where my line was crossed. I decided to just end our friendship. I confronted her about the last post she did about my husband, and of coarse to no avail, she denied it had anything to do with me. She can't tell me the problem she has with me first hand, she has to go post it around to every one. Making a Pixel Website with a difference? Hi I'm thinking of setting up a pixel site thats different (quirky) for people to put their links on. I was perhaps going to make it theme based like (http://www.bigbenpixels.co.uk/) and in the shape of a car for car advertisers or the shape of a house for landlords and letting agencies. (this is just an idea)... or just make it similar to the million dollar page , I was also going to try to gain advertisers by saying a cash prize of say 50 to a 100 pounds will be won by one of them at the end of a year period.etc I just wondered if you think this is an ok idea or will people just give it a widebirth and think "hmmm we've seen this before etc" I was looking through these kinda site the other day and must admit I was nearly tempted to buy some pixels in hope of more exposure to my blogs and websites as they lack in traffic, the pixels were 5 to 10 dollars each witch I thought was a bit costly. Computer/Internet Related - Where should I start and how should I go about it? Hi. A quick background, and I'll be on my way. Every since I got my first computer some odd years back (10+), I've been overly interested with them. I know pretty much how to gut them and put them back together due to just ripping it apart. I'm fairly well at putting anything together I take apart. Anyway, I lost interest in pretty much everything. Now I'm interested in too much. I want to do everything from installing hardware, making PCBs, CAD, learning the in's and out's of various applications and operating systems, programming for software as well as the web; it's just too much for one person to learn. Well, at least all at once. So I am asking where I should probably start, and how I should go about it. I do not have a ton of funds at the moment; as I am sure many of you have noticed, the economy is shot. Anyway. I am not for piracy; regardless of what media and/or content is being pirated (e.g. music, movies, software, etc). I like free stuff, just as most people do. I want to take what I learn and apply it to help everyone. As an example; if I spent 5 years of my life creating an operating system I would still let others use it freely, as well as grant GPL rights. Not everyone has $XXX.XX to pay for that top notch software. My main objective at the moment, at least I think/feel that it is, is to learn how to create a website from the ground up. I want to be able to make multi-page sites with wiki, forums, a chat, blog, private tracker (yes, for torrents, but only for freeware alternatives) etc. I want to set it up so that I may let others register, as certain this would need to be moderated, as well as credit given. I need to know enough so that I can setup analyst, ads for supporting it, possible PayPal or comparable for donations. If you think I'm contradicting myself, you don't know the difference in donation and required payment. I've donated a bit, it's always nice to help someone who does something worth while. (Rambling on... Sorry.) Anyway. Answering the very basic question at hand will do, but if you know of the exact languages I will need to learn, programs to make layouts or to learn the skills required, books, etc I will appreciate any such information. Also, please don't say something stupid like "Google it", any variant or similarity. I search a lot, and have found a bit of information, but some of it is a little advance and not for a beginner. How do victims of fraud by CleanWhites and Dazzlesmile initiate a class-action lawsuit? The numbers have got to be very substantial by now, since this operation has been using misleading advertising to suck people into their scam for a good number of months now. CleanWhites and DazzleSmile are two disgusting operations (or likey 2 different divisions of the same parent scamming operation). As an experienced online shopper, I've never experienced or even heard of such a fraudulent, misleading, operation. The site that I found in the first place, like others have reported, no longer exists. It used a fake blog format with supposed testimony from a housewife who supposed discovered a way to whiten her teeth for free and was sharing this invaluable information to the public so they could also benefit. The site suggested to use CleanWhites in conjunction with DazzleSmile. I remember having to click the same "free trial" box located near the top of the page twice, but the only charges I saw and agreed to were the measly $1 and $2 shipping charges. Many other reasonable people are also being sucked into this scheme due to the DELIBERATELY MISLEADING nature of the way this operation advertises and hides vital information necessary for honest transactions. I didn't discover the scam until the small CleanWhites sample arrived (it was maybe worth $1) and I read the order receipt showing my $.99 charge and "THANK YOU FOR YOUR RISK-FREE TRIAL ORDER!", both in large bold print. At the bottom of the page in small print, however, I noticed that a $79.95 charge would be incurred if I didn't cancel the trial. The DazzleSmile package didn't even include a receipt or any information hinting at how UNFREE these 'trials' actually are. After contacting both divisions of this operation and getting the same "you can't cancel without incurring more ($80) charges" BS, I paid for the shipping and sent the samples back to them. I recorded all correspondence with them, even the the unanswered, unturned calls & useless online chats. I then contacted my bank and reported this fraud. I was transferred to an individual who seemed familiar with this operation, and I was assured I would not be held responsible for further charges. I'll also send the documentation I have to the the respective Attorney General Offices, report it at bbb.org, and ftc.gov, and post this info on the online fraud sites to warn others to stay away until they are shut down and brought to justice. They should also pay monetarily, as well, however, due to the extreme inconvenience and stress they inflict upon their victims. Other victims are also voicing their desire to join a class-action suit against them, but we could use more information prior to moving forward.

May I have everyone's attention again for more college admissions advice? This one is titled, the internet tips and college admissions. As I have said previously, I will be making a blog for this. During the college admissions process I was often looking around on collegeboard and other sites for ideas on what schools I should apply to. I asked on this site as well as on other sites, mainly college confidential (which I regret). Now as a student if I had listened to people on those sites I would not have bothered to apply to MIT (accepted), Harvard (accepted), Yale (rejected), Cornell (accepted) or Columbia (accepted). I would have just stuck to applying to local universities and state universities. Now what did that process show me? 1. People on this site as well as other sites (especially college confidential) are heavily pessimistic. 2. Pick wisely. 3. Value advice of your guidance counselor and teachers over that of internet "experts". 4. The only accurate source you have are the college sites themselves and collegeboard (if you meet the SAT range and the class rank/gpa range, apply!). Now in searching on the internet a small minority actually gave me some pretty good advice for college admissions. They told me about the subject tests I should take when applying for MIT and how I should prepare myself the first semester of my senior year. A large majority told me, "you have no chance", "a 3.8 is too low for Harvard", "a 2340 is just an average SAT score" and etc. I was faced with one decision, apply to my dream schools and listen to the advice of the people who know me or listen to these so called "experts" and just stick to schools "in my league". I listened to the people who knew me in real life and here I am, a student enrolled in Cornell University (was the most affordable for my family and I). I went on college confidential and the advice given there was a lot more pessimistic (if you can, then please avoid that site). I gave the answerers on here some weight because the ones who told me I couldn't make it in were top contributors on this section (back when I thought the badge was hard to get). You don't have to listen to me (please ignore my advice if you want to) but listen to the people who know you better than some "experts" on the internet. Listen to yourself, do you want to go to Harvard? Do you want to go to Princeton? Do you want to go to Stanford? Because if you do then I will tell you this, there is only one difference between people who are at Stanford and people who are not, the ones who are at Stanford actually applied (although a lot were rejected but at least they applied). The type of college tips you should listen to are those that tell you what you should do to improve your resume (of course finding a cure for aids is not necessary). This piece of advice is for those who are debating whether or not they should apply to a top college. My tip for them? If your reason for not applying is because people on the internet think you won't make it in, then good luck in life because you won't be getting far. Ask yourself why you want to go to a top university (a good reason to go to MIT would be because they have a well respected engineering program and offer opportunities for the top students, opportunities not available in a lot of universities. A bad reason would be so you can brag to your friends about it.). If you want to go to a top university, even if you are not in the top 5 percent of your class and even if you do not have a 2300+ SAT score, apply, what do you have to lose except for the application fee? This is a matter of the distortion of rights. It's INTENTION that reveals racism, and racism is a form of violence. The news article says the image (manipulated to make the face of Michelle Obama look like a monkey) was posted on a blog called "Hot Girls" (may have been removed), but currently the website linked to the gross image is a forum that's ridiculously over-the-top anti-government. The thread that was supposed to have contained the image reads like it was written by a Timothy McVeigh, or maybe the person you'd see at a G8 summit riot. Big quotes from civil rights leaders and news of their assasinations, lots of talk about "globalist pigs" and the government using "psychotechnology," mind control programs, social engineering, etc. The moderators of the forum apparently removed the image because it's no longer there, but Google thinks it's appropriate to leave it up on image search, apparently in the name of freedom of speech. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said slightly more than half of the influenza virus strains reported to its surveillance system are not good matches against the strains included in this flu season’s vaccine. The number of states reporting widespread flu activity jumped to 31 this week compared with 11 a week ago, the CDC said. But Dr. Joe Bresee of the CDC’s influenza division said there are no indications this flu season is worse than usual. One measure officials use to gauge the severity of the season is the number of flu-related child deaths. Bresee said the CDC has heard of six U.S. children who have died from the flu, a relatively low number compared with recent years. Flu viruses mutate and change all the time, so every year a different vaccine is created as officials predict which particular strains will circulate. The vaccine is designed to protect against three influenza strains — two from Type A, an H1N1 and an H3N2 version, and one for Type B. Bresee said about 30 percent of the overall strains of influenza in the United States may be a Type A strain that emerged in Australia called H3N2 A/Brisbane. It emerged too late to be included in the flu vaccine offered in the United States beginning in September and October. The Type B strain chosen for this year’s vaccine also was not a good match for most of the B virus strains seen in the United States this flu season, Bresee said. “While a less-than-ideal virus match between the viruses in the vaccine and those circulating viruses can reduce vaccine effectiveness, we know from past influenza studies that the vaccine can still protect enough to make illness milder or prevent flu-related complications,” Bresee said. Flu vaccines take months to make. Bresee also said some resistance is being reported to the antiviral drug Tamiflu, made by Switzerland’s Roche Holding AG and Gilead Sciences Inc of the United States. Of the viruses tested in CDC flu labs, 4.5 percent are resistant to the drug, Bresee said. Can anyone tell me how this is a violation and where to appeal this? Question: does anyone know how to make money , such as surveys or work at home on the internet, that is not a scam? Question Details: Deleted Answer: Survey's are not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they're not a scam. They're very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It's more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and make minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these "higher" paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be as long as it really is. But we did the documentation's and figured the time vs money factor. We found that there was more time with little money to be made. Here's how the survey's work. You spend approximately 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register and set up a profile to qualify for surveys. (this is non paid). To make anything really work, you need to register for at least 14 different ones, and make sure non are related to each other. Then you'll start receiving emails for surveys. Each survey you have to complete a 15 to 20 minute "pre-qualifying" survey, after you were already told you qualified based on your profile (you don't get paid for this) Then if you do qualify for a survey (which majority of the ones you don't qualify for. so you've wasted this 15 to 20 minutes and sometimes longer of non paid time.) Then if you don't qualify for one, they offer another and you have to do the same thing, and the same thing happens.) You waste approximately 45 minutes to an hour until you finally qualify for a survey. You take a 30 to 45 minute survey and make normally $1 to $3 a survey that they claim takes 15 minutes. Or instead of money, you earn "points" which later on can be exchanged for money or prizes. You have to earn enough points to make $10. That's not including the 15 minute pre qualifying survey, that you had to repeatedly do prior to land this survey. So you've now spent thirty minutes to an hour and made $3 or a few points. And the process between each of the survey sites is the same. So you can pretty much do the math. It averages out to be between $2 to $6 an hour. Sometimes you do come across a survey that will pay you $25 to $75 a survey, BUT there's A LOT more to it then what meets the eye on that as well. Here's how the larger pay out survey's work. It could be a telephone survey or a Internet survey. You get the pre qualifying part of 10 to 20 minutes then if you qualify for it another 15 to 30 minute survey or a telephone survey about the product your about to try to see if you qualify to try it. Even though you took a 10 to 20 minute "pre qualifying survey" that s aid you qualify for. When you qualify for it, they send you a product out to try for 7 to 10 days and you do some daily documentation's on it. Depending on what the product is and the documentation's it's usually 5 - 15 minutes each daily documentation. (you got a free product to use around the house, this is a good part of it) after trying the product out you have to complete another survey that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to do. Now you do the calculations on that. You don't get as many of these types of survey's. They use the hype on getting paid $25 to $75 dollars for 15 minute surveys. NOTICE THE PLURAL IN "SURVEYS" What they don't tell you is that there is more then one survey involved in these. Now calculate from your pre-qualifying survey to the next pre-qualifying survey from the company carrying the product, to the trial and documentation's, to the last survey on these products. Then you receive a check four weeks to six weeks later. Do the math, that's less then minimum wage! Another way to earn money on survey sites, is to refer people over to the sites. Some survey sites will give you a percentage on what the people do after they've reached a curtain amount of points or obtained their first check (refer back to the top of what's involved) You either get a lot of points for this, and only one time and when you reach a curtain amount of points you can exchange it for cash or prizes. (Cash amount is usually $30 before you can cash out- do the math on how many pre-qualifying surveys and the surveys you get, the time involved etc this is what it takes to earn the $30) Other survey sites you complete shorter surveys (5 to 15 minutes) and your entered into sweepstakes or lottery things for prizes or money. "Lottery"-one winner out of all the people doing survey's. If you don't win, you lose your points. I can go on about all the other types of survey's available and what was involved in that if you'd like me to elaborate on it. So I do it for the principle of the matter. Don't do it for money, because you won't make a sufficient amount of money with this or quick money either. You really have to register for a lot of different sites. The paid survey sites offer the same survey's as the non paying ones. You get the same type of prizes and some pay a little more money. Again calculation time. Calculate how much you "paid" into these sites and the time you put into it, (refer back to how the survey's work) and it calculates back to minimum wage. If your doing this to make a living off of, you will be disappointed. But just for some extra cash, it's a good source and like I said, the companies do document the feedback and use it to better advertise their products and in some cases come out with new products based on the input of the surveyors. If you need more money then what you will make from survey's then I would look into a home job. You have a few different options. There are a couple different home jobs you can do. Understand that they are minimum wage earnings, so you won't make a sufficient amount of money. After taxes, you will end up making below minimum wage.. Does anyone have any tips on how to save a failing business? The ship is sinking. I've been open for almost 4 months now (an online apparel store). This is our biggest season, a time when we are supposed to make the most sales, and we're not selling. I've received a total of two sales since I opened back in October. I don't think it's our image. The site is extremely secure, the layout is beautiful, we offer very affordable, top notch products. I've put alot of work and money into developing our online brand. It's just not working. I've rented email lists and sent out email blasts with top notch creative. My click through rates are less than 1%. My open rates are less than 10% and I have no conversions. I've dropped my prices significantly (to the point where I would make a minimal profit off my product). Everything is on sale right now and I've always offered low cost and free shipping...No response. I'm using pages on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and other social networking sites to advertise. I blog--well I might ad. I even created a contest with a cash prize to try to get more sign ups on my mailing list. I use google ad words, and I get clicks, but almost none of them result in sales. The only two sales I've made originated from organic google searches. I cut my overhead expenditures, and have increased my online advertising budget. Again, none of it is working. I was recently laid off from my day job, so I can't keep hemorrhaging money like this. Please help me save my business. What do I do now?

Fact: Where Bush has stuck up for America, Clinton was convicted of a felony for lying under oath and embarrassed the nation by his repeated infidelities, including in the Oval Office, during working hours while on duty and to the exclusion of attending to his duties. Where Clinton did nothing for eight years to protect the country and dismantled the military, we now have a strong military and can negotiate from a position of strength. The numerous attacks on Americas military bases, embassies and homeland have stopped since Bush responded whereas Clinton, ever the capitualist coward, never did anything about the USS Cole, three embassy attacks, the first bombing in New York or all the other tragedies where American lives where lost. Teh man is so corrupt in his job performance that keeping track of his library donations might actually make him look no worse than a used car salesman. This is worse than renting out the Lincoln Bedroom. Public officials are supposed to be available to the public whenever possible, not just when you have a few hundred thousand extra dollars lying around to contribute to this or that library or Presidential memorial.
