PROM!!! We live in New Jersey. What is there to do after prom? Not simple Ideas. We have thought of Down the Shore, and New York City. But what else is there to do? And in NYC, what is there to do for minors after prom?? List all suggestions!
What should I do? I'm not allowed to go to my school prom. HELP.? I got suspended for missing a Saturday school. Any senior that gets suspended cannot go to prom. Prom is tomorrow. I have to get a prom ticket by 5, but I don't know if I can. I'm on the no-prom list. What should I do? =[

Did I do the right thing? Today (the day before prom) I found out that my prom date was planning on ditching me for another girl as soon as we got to prom. I asked him about it and he was a complete jerk and said whatever. He had been acting weird all week so I knew something was up. A reliable source told me about this and after his actions I decided to take his name off the prom list; now he cant go. I feel bad about doing that, but I left him after confronting him about this and he didnt even try to come after me to talk about it. Did I do the right thing or should I still have taken him? He is an underclassman. He has his proms to go to. One of my guy friends is goning to take me now--he lost his date too.
Does anyone have any ideas for a bucket list float for prom? Each year for Pennsbury high school there's a parade where students create floats with friends and ride into the dance on the floats. every year there is a theme and this year the theme is the bucket list. we need something original that no one else is going to do, thanks for the help:)

To start off I live in Missouri, and one for my friends got a prom dress magazine from Mc Daniels Bridal and Formal sent to her but I can't figure out how to get on the list.. Was this a bitc*** thing this girl did to me? Ok, so all last year I really liked this girl, and I think she knew. Anyways, we talked more over the year, but I never thought anything of it. Anyways, then she started making remarks to other girls like "You are SO lucky you are in his class this year!" and stuff like that. Basically making it sound like she missed being in the class from the year before. Anyways, we both did track and we jumped. We got a little bit closer. When I was a Junior I wasn't even planning on going to prom, but I did with a friend, and I ended up in Prom Royalty. It turned out to be really fun so I figured I would go my senior year. So, my friend asked her if I was on her "Don't ask me to prom" list, because a lot of people liked her, but she didn't want to go to prom with them. Anyways, my friend pretty much told her I was going to ask her and she was like "Alright that will be fun!" Anyways, I finally decided I was going to ask her the next day, in a cute way such as a riddle/surprise/etc. Then I got a text from someone saying "I'm asking "her" to prom." So I told him, "She already knew I was asking her and said Ok, I just haven't officially done it yet." I tried reasoning with him and telling him I already kinda asked her and it is MY Senior year and stuff, but no. Anyways, he goes on and texts her and was all "Do you wanna go to prom with me?" Then our friend texted me and was all "She just REALLY likes him. Sorry." I was like "Seriously." Anyways, so I ended up not going to Prom as a Senior. The friend caught me like 2 days later and asked who I was going to ask to prom and I replied "I'm not going anymore" She actually felt really bad and told me to ask someone and stuff. Anyways, the rest of school went on and this girl acted like nothing ever happened. Then on Facebook, she put on her status "Like my status for a truth in you inbox." I "liked" it, expecting to get a message about how cool I was or funny, or whatever people say when they don't really have something to say about you. Instead it said "I'm really wish I would have went to prom with you instead. I'm positive it would have been more fun and not near as awkward." That really made me feel better actually, but I still felt stupid. I was happy that she apologized, but like 3 months later? Is it just me, or does this whole situation kinda make her seem like a biotch? If you are going to say "Well you should have asked her sooner." I couldn't. I was in Utah on spring break, and I didn't want to be a lamer and ask her over text :/ SO, what do you think?
Can anyone give me some nonsuggestive dance songs from this decade? Or where to find them? We are having our Junior Senior Prom and the songs suck. The teachers don't want suggestive lyrics or vulgar language. But we want something that we can actually dance to - not just slow dance. Need URGENT help finding a prom hairstyle...details listed? I have no idea what to do with my hair for my junior prom (coming up in less than 2 weeks). Pre-Prom party suggestions??? I'm hoping to have like a pre-prom party (before the actual prom) and invite my friends over to my house (not more than like 8 people). I was thinkin of going to the salon to get our nails and hair done before the actual prom. Nd get ready at my house. Then, my parents can drive us to the place. But like idk becuase this is like my first time having a pre-prom party (or a prom) so idk what I should do?!!! Ok basically there this guys i REALLY like, its being going on for ages, about a year!? but we've got a lot closer and talk quite a bit, I was like 90% sure he liked me aswell, he complimented me a lot, and I heard him say to people he liked me, his friends suddenly started talking to me, and I know it sounds stupid but its like we have a "connection" we fitted so well together. So it gets towards the end of term nothings happened, through exams we didnt talk so much, but i caught him looking at me during an exam and he said hi to me a couple of times...so im thinking ok ...prom night i've gotta make a move.. during that time he writes something on facebook about 'shes moved on :( ' as far as I knew he hadn't got/ had a girlfriend for as long as I'd liked him...so he keeps writing all these depressing statuses :S and then suddenly he writes one, 'cant be bothered with you no more so f*** you' I know he'd had a big fight with some of his friends, but could he be talking about me? he deletes the other status about 'shes moved on' at the same time as he writes the other one? I Need Prom Makeup Help, Please? To make a long story short, I have no idea how to do my makeup for Prom. What do I do about this girl and my brother.? So me and my brother have been tight with each other until about the time we went our ways for college. Well this year he met this ditzy blonde and they are not dating but talking! She is so freaking annoying. She talks like a valley rich girl and every time she talks it sounds like she is asking a question. She was rude to my mom when she first met the family. I can just look at my dad and tell he can't stand her! When she talked about her contributions and achievements the only things she could list was prom queen head cheerleader and she has one pagents. ughhhh nobody in the family likes her. She also hogs my brothers attention when she comes over she always hangs on to him and is like omg baby i love you so much! Which dress do you like better? I'm throwing a sweet sixteen, and the theme is masquerade. I want to go as "Think of Me" Christine Daaé from Phantom of the Opera. I like these two dresses equally, but can't decide which one to make. Please don't give me new suggestions - these two are the FINAL choices. If you want to look at the effect I'm going for, google image search "emmy rossum think of me" and it will be the first result. In case you didn't read carefully, these are PATTERNS. My mother is a professional seamstress - she'd be making the dress in the material that I wanted. Please READ what I've written, because already people have shown that they've not. And I'm not going to change my mind about color. It's one of these two dresses in white. No ifs, ands, or buts.

What stockings should I wear with my vintage dress for Senior Prom ? I found a fantastic vintage dress to wear to my Senior Prom. It is totally 1960's, black satin type with fitted top and a flowing, but almost fitted bottom. I am going to wear a garterbelt with the 1960 style stockings, but my mother says I should stick with the seamless stockings, while I really want the kind with the seam and little heel. I an a fan of Bettie Page, and people say I look a lot like her, and those are the kind of stockings she was always photographed in, at least according to the movie trailers. I need Prom Advice, this girl is making me frustrated.? I recently asked this girl to prom. She's a friend but I don't know her too well. Mostly 30 second conversations when I see her in the morning at our lockers. She's is very particular when it comes to people because she only has 2 girl friends that I see her talking to and I never see her talking to boys. When I asked her to prom, she seemed happy. I asked her because I found out that I was someone she was willing to go with to prom like I was on a list of potentials you could say. I decided I would ask and I had a good chance of going with her. And as it happens, she said yes. I figured that since I asked her to prom, she would be more open to me as in she would want to get to know eachother and not be strangers at prom. However, that is not the case. I've tried talking to her but she seems to be always involved in something else. She seems to have something better and more important when I talk to her. Also, it seems to me like shes ignoring me. It's like this girl to be like this. She seems to be more self involved and not notice things but it's really starting to frustrate about how I can't seem to get this girl to talk to me. It's been 2 weeks and I've still got nothing to show for it. What should I do? Should I be patient with her because I think this would be like the first time a boy showed any interest in her (I know that sounds mean, but its because shes very intimidating and does talk much. Plus as I said, doesnt talk to boys). Or should I be upfront with her and tell her. Also, am I overblowing the situtation? Am I just a date to prom and nothing else? pushy mom and 16 yr old abortionist? When i was 16 I got hurt in a cheerleading accident and had to go to the hospital. There they found out i was pregnant and told my mom. I was on heavy meds at the time so my mother went ahead and told them that i was to have an abortion and no one would know. I am completely against abortion. Even thoough i was so not ready for a child i was willing to take on the consequences for my mistake. I was an A student, captain of the varsity cheerleading squad for 3 years, homecoming court, on community service club and prom committee, and the list goes on and on... so it would have ruined my life but i am majorly against abortion. (I don't know WHY he likes her. She went out with an 11 year old when she was 14 to make a 17 year old guy jealous. YEAH. She's also a *****.) Anyways, he said that he thinks that she likes him and that they're going to prom together. I was TOTALLY CRUSHED. I told him I liked him and I would 'go cry and get over it.' I was serious, but I thought that made me seem really weird xD, so I told him I was kidding about the crying part and he replies, 'Oh, okay. Well as long as I didn't make you cry, let's be friends.' The *****? So, I didn't talk to him for a week or two. And then school started back. I was on my way to 3rd period, and I was LITERALLY thinking, 'Wouldn't it be AWESOME if I didn't see him again? Then I could move on, get over it, and next year he would graduate and I wouldn't ever have to see him again..' Then I walked in to 3rd. He was sitting in the ******** back row. That class was RUINED. I tried to sit as far away from him as I could by sitting in the front, and the teacher tells me to move to the back. -.- Anyway, since then, I've become pretty close with one of his best friends. Prom anxieties - Am I a complete bitch? So this guy asked me to prom, and I said "maybe." He kept pushing me, saying, "I need to know by today," and things like that, and I said I'd probably go with him. (I really have no idea what I was thinking - I just broke up with my boyfriend, and I don't have a date yet, so I guess I was feeling crazy in desperation.) He's been telling everybody that I'm his date, and I've cringed every time somebody I don't know coming up to me saying, "Are you really going with him?" I've known him for a long time, but I don't want to be his date AT ALL. He has this horrible reputation for being the most terrifying dancer in the world - he pretty much humps girls on the dance floor. I don't like his personality, and I think if I do end up going with him, I'll just spend the evening with other people. It's not like he really likes me or anything - apparently he has this list of girls he wanted to ask to prom. He knows that I like another guy - is it awful if I find this guy another date and ask the guy I like to prom? Should I just skip out on prom and go to the after prom party with the guy I do like? Or should I just grin and bear it? I'm going with someone I actually do like to the after prom party, but he's not going to prom. I wanted to ask him, but I wasn't thinking about prom at all, and this other guy caught me completely off guard.
What should i say to a guy who just asked me to prom? Ok, so about 10 minutes ago a guy just called me and asked me to senior ball... (i'm a junior)... and i dont know what to do!! THere are various reasons why i dont know what i should say: 1) i already went to my junior prom last month 2) the senior prom is in a week and two days!! 3) that would mean i would have to buy a dress and do all that confusing stuff 4) he's a nice guy but the last time i spoke to him was last year! 5) i feel bad saying no.. esp since he asked one of my really good senior friends but she had to say no since she already had a date 6) did i mention it was NEXT WEEKEND (the 20th)?! (yeah i know i did.. i just wanted to clarify) 7) it could potentially be awkward.. since we're not really friendsss 8) and he's not like using me.. but i don't know of anyone else he could go with... since all the seniors already have dates.. ok.. long list. what do u think i should do? :/ (i dont want to be mean!)

Ideas for a shipwreck prom theme? We had our first meeting for prom committee last week. I was unable to attend and they were talking about picking a pirate theme. I do NOT want the theme. On Wednesday we have another meeting where I will get to voice my opinion. Instead of having a pirate theme I will suggest having a shipwreck theme. That way they can still have their pirate flag and stuff, just on a little "classier" scale. I need some ideas to bring to the meeting so I can hopefully change their minds a little bit. High School Cut List? I am on the cut list for school and I wont be able to go to prom if Im on it. My homeroom teacher put me on it, even though he admits to marking me absent for a day I was there. Now that he put me on it, he says he isn't able to take me off, and that it would be illegal for him to do so. Would this look okay for a prom dress?
