what do people think of angie's list?

I really think it is a poor site with very poor customer service. It is not worth the money to join, and they make it big hassle to quit. Not a nice clean check of the box and your done. When I went to other websites to see what they had to say about angie's list, they advertised on all of them Seems as if they are misleading and scamming to me.

1. Any site that charges money to read reviews is not worth joining. Who vets the reviewers and makes sure they are not shills for the businesses or service people being reviewed?
