Are people watching less television since the advent of the internet?
Now with internet accessible in most people's homes, has the amount of time they spend watching television decreased? If so, is that time now spent using the internet or are people watching a smiliar amount of TV and also finding time to use the internet in the spare time on top of that? What's your personal experience? Also, I'm talking about recreational internet usage, not business/study related.

- For sure - instead of watching a TV show live when it is aired, I watch at my own leisure when its convenient for me on Hulu.
- I would say so. If people miss one of their episodes on tv, they can watch it pretty much anywhere on the internet. I know I do that but I try not too. If I can I prefer watching shows on tv because the quality is better and the screen doesn't hurt your eyes after hours of watching it, and the screen is also bigger for a tv.
- it opens up new channels from different countries outside your own which seem to be showing the same shows but different seasons.
