Why do people not pay on ebay?

I sold 7 items in a row the other day, all to the same buyer. It's been 3 days now and they have not payed. Their feedback score is 0 and they joined a month ago. Why do people do this? Just to annoy the hell out of people? It's really frustrating because I will have to list all the items again eventually, and I fear that if I do, they will give me bad feedback saying that I did not give them chance to pay. So why do time wasting idiots do this on ebay?

  1. Dead beat ebay buyers are the WORST! Ebay's feedback system enables scam buyers and screws the sellers. You need to set your buy it now listings to pay immediately. You also need to open a case against the buyer that hasn't paid. You can do that after the forth day,,,and then you have to wait another four days to close it,, ebay will credit the final value fee's for those items.. and remove negative feedback if left by the buyer who did not pay for the item.
  2. They wanted to play a prank on you, perhaps?
  3. The problem is kids, under 18, being jerks. In future, cancel the bids from anyone will 0 feedback unless they email you and you are happy to let them bid. Put that in your listing "bidders with under 10 purchase feedback to contact me before bidding or I reserve the right to cancel your bids". After 4 days you can lodge a "non paying strike" against the buyer. They can't leave you feedback at all then and eBay won't charge you their final value fee. The buyer with the unpaid strikes, 7, will be banned from eBay. I'm an eBay buyer myself, over 760 purchase feedback, I am one of the "good guys", there are plenty of us out there!
