  1. there is and excellent movie called the Labrinth, starring David Bowie, its god but Im afraid the only book I know is the Hobbit.
  2. The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien is very good. No fairies, but plenty of elves and dragons.
  3. There is a book series called "Animorfs" where humans turn into different animals or "creatures". You might like that. Google it.
  4. ok the best book ever is kinda a younge adult book but its called the winter oak there is another one to it called the summer land i just got done with them and they wee awesome the author is james A. hetley and he is an excellent writter

  6. the books thithe, valiant, and ironside are all modern faerie books by Holly Black. she also co-wrote the spiderwick chronicles, which are also about faeries and such. they are good but geared toward a younger crowd. the books a great and terrible beauty, rebel angels, and the sweet far thing by libba bray are magicy. with creatures and such. and they are also set in victorian Britain in a girls boarding school. inkspell by corneilia funke has magical creatures. its about a girl who can read stories to life. the dark is rising sequence by cooper also has some magic stuff. there are plenty of books out there. you can always go to a local bookstore and check out the fantasy section in young adults. (if that is your age)
  7. The Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory is excellent and has a whole society of elves, magicians and some dragons. The Halfblood Chronicles (The Elvenbane, Elvenblood and Elvenborn) by Andre Norton and Mercedes Lackey. Elves (as the names suggest) but dragons are a major part of the storyline. The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey is very enjoyable and is all about dragons, but unlike Eragon and the books above, the dragons are not supernatural or magical creatures - the series is science fiction, not fantasy. The first in the series is Dragonflight and should be read first as it lays an important foundation for the remainder of the series.
  8. Lord of the rings
