Latest Lists

What is a website where a book can be read to me? Please help me...fast!?

Hi everyone! I am a 17 year old girl, and I will be a senior when school starts up again. At my school, we are given a list of books before the end of the school year. Each grade has a mandatory book that they must read and take notes on and then there will be a test on it the first day of school. Then, if you are in regular English, you have to choose another book to read from the list provided and do a project (there is also a list of projects to choose from) on that book. If you are in Honors English or AP English, you have to choose two books from the list and do a project on each book, so two projects. I have already read and completed the projects for the two books that I chose from the list, and now I am starting to read the mandatory book, which is The Kite Runner. The only problem, I cannot get myself interested in this book! I don't know if it's because I have already read two books and have done two projects and I just don't feel like reading and taking notes on a third book, or if this book truly doesn't interest me. But, I really want to finish this book so that I can read what I want to read and not have to worry about reading this book, but I can't seem to be able to sit down and focus and read. So, I thought that maybe if someone could read it to me and I would follow along it would help. So, do you know of any websites where you can have a book read aloud to you? I heard my friend saying something about readtome.com or something? Please help me! Thanks!

  2. well you could look for an audiobook. go to your local library, buy it from itunes. or you could download it free off a torrent based web-site like isohunt.com or my personal favourite for audiobooks is www.theaudiobookbay.com you have to make an account its free, and not some sort of scam, but then you can download anything you want that is available. there are thousands of books new and old. hope this helps
