why does yahoo no longer have the small box to the left of email list--it was much better to delete?

the new email format does not allow deletion (via check/uncheck boxes that were on the left side of list of incoming emails

1. The new beta version is hated by thousands. All we can do is to keep on and on complaining.
2. I have Beta and I totally have the check/uncheck boxes. So idk what you're talking about.
