Where can i find a list of insurance terminology and definitions?

i teach business english, i have a student who needs to produce insurance policies for his goods. i want to stay clear of health and life insurance. thanks

2. Well, there isn't one. Each policy has a "definitions" section - so technically, you have to look at a policy to define, for example, "insured". I the insurance world, if the word isn't specifically defined in the definitions section, then you can use the common dictionary definition.
3. You can request a specimen policy from an insurance company, it may even be available on their site which will give you a complete sample policy, including definitions.

5. Hiya: Do either of you have an auto policy? You can call your carrier to get an actual COPY of the policy contract language. All terms for any policy are defined in the definitions section. Open up and read! Goodluck! ~jifr!
