People make fun of me for listing to old music, what should I do ?

I like classic rock like The Who, Beatles and Queen. Its just getting werid now, please help !?!

  2. Don't listen to it in front of them? It's like how everybody hides something in their closet. You can hide the fact that you like old music.
  3. Are you serious? the people are idiots, I am 15 years old and I love Beatles and Pink Floyd. Hate their crap like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and other. non of my friends laugh at me for having a good taste in music, u should say that to them.
  4. Just tell them you have your music style, and they have theirs. And that you're not going to stop listening to what you want to listen to because of them. (I absolutely love all three of those bands, btw <3)
  5. YOU LOVE WHAT YOU LOVE! I've been told I have a weird taste in music but it's what makes me me and I blast it from my car whenever I can. Don't let other people stop you playing what you love. If I didn't have my music I'd be a very sad person indeed

  7. everyone has their own personal taste. u shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. everyone is different, it's good to be unique. :)

Listen to it, I know guys who listen to that music in their teens, never to old for Queen, I listen to cyndi lauper time after time and that a girls song and i put it on full blast because it annoys my gf but i like the music so I listen to it. It music. It doesn't hurt anyone. You probably heard people listening to their crap and not being bothered what people think so why should you be any different.
  9. Everyone has different taste in music, who cares what they think? You're unique and you shouldn't for anybody.
  10. It doesn't matter just ignore them they have no taste in music I love the who and the beatles...Not sure about queen though not quite my taste. You should just be feeling good about yourself because they are listening to terrible music and they are missing out on the experience you get from listening to the music you listen to if anything you should pity them for not being culturally educated.   12. Take no notice of them at the end of the day it's your choice, not theirs! I love older music and in my opinion most of the older stuff is better, so you have good taste haha :) :)

  14. Yo man! I prefer the beatles, zeppelin, hendrix and all the deceased old rock legends! They preach about love and being yourself! So listen to the music and NOT other people...the generation of today have no idea what music is if they don't like the beatles or the who! I'm 17 and have had an obsession with the beatles since the 8th grade! Don't let people bring you down! Embrace it! We are the people of our generation KEEPING the love of these legends alive! Don't let people think you're weird. You're normal! If you like the beatles, watch ACROSS THE UNIVERSE. Best/trippiest movie you'll ever see(: I cried the first time I watched it!

  18. Just be yourself . It doesnt matter what people say or do . I like the Beatles too and once me and my friends were hanging out and i put a song by the Beatles and they laughed at me because before they were listening to Romans Revenge and Chris Brown . I told them then .......you guys don't know good music you just listen to just rapping and bad words . My advice is be yourself and don't care ! (:
