How do I prove to my co workers that the Republican party isnt an embarressment?

Ive always been a Republican, always voted for em and always will. And when my co-workers are giving me lots of flak for all of our candidates news scandals and saying that the Republicans are making promises they cant keep and crap. how do i prove them wrong its pissing me off. Whenever i try to say crap about Obama they just rub it off and say "At least he's not an idiot" and then give me a list of 150 reasons (literally) about why hes such a "good president". Please help. I mean they re not doing anything wrong my party is actually full of the smartest politicians who ever lived that's the only reason they re having trouble decided on a proper candidate but they keep giving me sh*t for it.

7. The Republicans throughout history were considered the champions of civil rights. They ended slavery, brought out reformation in the 1920s. They have a history of being anti-war. Nixon ended the Vietnam War and Reagan ended the Cold War. They fought for desegregation and a United Republic.

17. As much as a staunch conservative I am, there are those that are the deepest shades of blue. Especially in the northeast US. There really is a time and a place for everything. Work really is not the place to debate politics. Also I refuse to debate with anyone that uses derogatory language. Chances are that you will probably have to agree to disagree with your friends. We know Obummer is driving the country broke, but others refuse to listen to reason. Anyways you have to work with these folks and if you keep debating them the chances are that someone is gonna get really offended and friendships can end. Agree to disagree. If they come to your house you can debate them there, but work really is not the right place to do it. Oh and when you do debate them, always take the high road and don't use derogatory language

Idiots (liberal democrats, progressives, socialists, communists, fascists) are not smart enough to know they are idiots, therefore it becomes a lost cause to attempt to convince them of anything. Ignore them and you will accomplish your purpose without saying a word.
