Please list for me what is a socialist vs. what Obama wants our country to be?

Please give me your definition of what socialism is then list whether or not Obama has the same agenda.

1. Socialism...public library...fire dept....and too many other to count. I am against socialized health care, but I must admit I am fine with the fire dept.....so I guess it depends on the program. I think Obama is for all of these plus health care.

4. This is such a easy question: Obama practices and preaches free trade and capitalism. Simply put, socialism is a form of government that puts the workers over capital. I could give you all the tenets of socialism but it would take me the whole day. I will refer you and anyone else that wants to use this word as a label for modern American politicians to go to Karl Marx's book that propsed this theory. Anybody that thinks any member of the Republican party or the Democratic Party are advocates of socialism have absolutely no idea what "socialism" really is.
