My yahoo account keeps one sending spam mail to my contact list but I'm not doing it. How can I stop it?

1. This usually happens when someone has installed a "trojan" on your computer. It is not as bad as it sounds. They have not hijacked your email account. They send out 1 or 2 spams after they have accessed your Contact list and then they are done. Changing passwords doesn't help. Do notify all of your contacts that you are not spamming and to ignore any solicitations from you to buy something online. Then run an anti-spyware program on your computer but the spammers are usually long gone by the time you try to find them.
2. Your account got compromised. First change your password. Account help.http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/acct/in… for just about anything to do with your account. Then run anti Virus and Anti Spyware. Should be fine then.
