Is it a bad idea to get a job as a bike courier if you like far away?

Hello. For a while ive wanted a job as a bike courier. People say that if you get a job you should at least do something you like. And being a bike courier is #1 on that list. The only problem is that I live about half an hour away from were they make the deliveries. Would it be a bad idea to get job as a bike courier if I live a bit far away. I could drive to the city evrey morning. Serious answers please.

1. Want a serious answer? Why on earth do you want a low paying job like that? Most I've seen make barely over minimum wage. And then to be out in city traffic all day dodging traffic in all kinds of weather. And btw...a half hour ride on a bicycle should be a cake walk. If you can't do that easily, how the heck would you ever become a good bike courier?
