- You cannot. Furthermore, you are already on hundreds of lists. If you want to school, anywhere, you are on a mailing list.
- Register your phone number(s) on the national Do Not Call registry. Pay for an unlisted phone number to not be listed in the white pages. Contact the various yellow book outfits to have them remove your business numbers. Read the fine print at the bottom of one of the credit card mailings to find the toll free number to call to be removed from those mailing lists. There's no branch of government to call for this.
- Register with the DoNotCall registry. Send a letter to the credit reporting agencies requesting that they not submit your name & address for the pre-qualified credit offer things. Then for any junk mail you do get (this includes the PennySaver, Advo, etc fliers), you can declare them to be sexually explicit and have the post office send them a prohibitory order to stop mailing you stuff. This is done with the postal form 1500. It may sound funky, but all you have to do is decide it's porn (even if it's a credit card offer).
