Do theists admit to subscribing to a spiritual view that is non-nonsensical?

Or do they think that the depth of their belief and the fact that millions of others believe the same thing, justifys belief as more than psychosis? Psychosis being defined as losing ones grasp on reality, this term can be applied to many different states of mental being, one would argue theists pay their taxes and keep their houses tidy but they still believe in a man in the sky with a list of things not to do and that when they die they will be judged by him and go to heaven. If it wasnt a view shared by so many, to the majority it would be quite out of place. For example, I grew up in an atheistic country and the notion that people do believe in religion is really just stupid. "The problem seems to be that if someone does not agree with YOU then they are obviously crazy." No, not me, science and the mechanics of our understanding of reality.

A quick look at the intellectual debate that has happened over the last 1000 years in the area of religion, beliefs, logic and metaphysics would indicate that there is much more to the question that your quick, 'cuz I said so', will answer. The problem seems to be that if someone does not agree with YOU then they are obviously crazy. That makes perfect sense IF you are not the crazy one, I would humbly suggest you look at the differing opinions of brilliant thinkers over the last several centuries and see what the both sides offer.
