eBay question: If I re-list, will I still have to pay my final value fee?

Despite the fact that the buyer never payed for the item and never replied back to my message. Can I re-list now without having to wait the 8 total days (4 for allowing payment and 4 for having an open case). Honestly, it's getting super frustrated now because this is the SECOND time this happens with the same item. I had already done the whole open case thing and waited the 8 full days and re-listed the item. I feel like eBay is nothing but trash for selling stuff now because of this. So the bottom line is, can I re-list now without having to pay a final value fee for the item the buyer committed to buy but never payed for??? Or do I have to go through that whole process again? It's really getting on my nerves already!! :(

Yes! you can relist even while you have a case open for it 4days is all you need to wait to open a case the 4 extra days are for the buyer to reply. if in 4 days they dont reply you can take action and just close the case and you wont have to pay a final value fee. If something goes wrong and ebay is still trying to charge you a final value fee after opening a case just contact customer service and explain the situation. Happend to me more than twice. Its a pain in the bum tho and a waste of peoples time. Hope i helped
