  1. Tank 150+ Or rubber container $15 Heat lamp and light $30 Or heat pad $20-$50 Supstate $5-$40 Or newspaper .50-$1.00 Humidity and temperature gauge $10 Two hiding places $10-50 Water dish deep enough to soak in $2-20
  2. A boa constrictor as a pet? What will you do when you can not follow it because too big?You can`t leave it to himself in an environment that does not belong. Not forcing the animals to live to satisfy our cravings, let them live happy and free in their usual habitat
  3. I would recommend not getting your boa at PetLand. #1, you snake will probably not be sexed. #2, it may harbor mites or other parasites. #3, I doubt that any of the employees can give you info like his date of birth/feeding record/breeder/shedding record, etc. I would suggest buying from an online breeder or going to a reptile expo near you. Search google for "reptile expos near ____" (sorry idk where you live!). If you pick a good breeder, they will give you a healthy, tame snake with records. What kind of Boa? A red-tailed, BCI, Hog Island? I really suggest researching as much as possible first; a boa is a big commitment. Your boa is going to be a big commitment; do you really have the time, space, and money for such a large boid? Anyways, here's a supply list: Large tank-200+ Water dish-20 Heating mat/tape-30-40 The actual snake-75-200 Bedding-15 Thermostat-50 Food-20-50 (depending on size and prey type; F/T is cheaper!!) Plants/decorations-30 There may be other things. So, are you willing to spend $600+ on a snake? If you want a less expensive, smaller snake, get a corn snake!
