What undergraduate degree would be best for me?

Eventually, I want to be a human rights attorney. I understand that you don't really need any specific degree to gain admission to law school, and that I should pick something that I like so that I will strive to do good in school. So, could you list some majors that you would think might be good for both my mind and for the admission commitee.

1. If you are looking at human rights than a degree in social work would be great for you or paralegal studies. Some universities have criminology and criminal justice degrees which would give you a background in laws. Business degrees never hurt either.

3. Business or Political Science are the two most common majors for people going onto law school. Engineering might be a good idea, with a minor in one of those two(if possible), because engineering requires you to look at everything from a new perspective to make things work.

5. What you call a "Human Rights Attorney" is what many other people would call a race baiter. If you want to do Law, do it. Don't try to dress it up in naive pronouncements about "human rights". You have to make a living.
