Excuses to Switch Out of a College Professor's Class?

I just moved into my dorm for college and I had my list of instructors for quite some time and according to my cousin who has been here for five years and all her friends have told me one of the professors I have are terrible that she's hard and mean I believe, so do you have any legit reasons I could get out of the class. I don't mind taking the class, but if I could get out of it, it would be better. My cousins told me to tell them to tell the school I have work at the time, but I feel like they might ask for proof that I work and etc. Thank you for your answers and please don't be harsh or a jerk about the answers. By the way, they arranged my schedule for me, I don't get to choose my classes until next semester, also I spoke to my R.A. and he stated himself that I could switch out during add/drop, but I have to state a reason for wanting to do so.They won't just let me switch to whatever section I want because I heard the teacher was terrible or I just don't want her or anything, by the way it's for English.

1. You could just put personal down, and say that you son't feel comfortable discussing the reason because it's personal. you're the one paying for the freakin classes they really can't tell you no. I've done it plenty of times.
