How do I list my previous addresses on a form?

I need to list every place where I lived for the last 5 years. During my first 2 years of college, I had a permanent home address and a campus address. Do I need to break the dates down to reflect where I actually lived during that time (home for the summer, campus for the rest of the year) or just let the dates overlap and show I had two addresses at the same time? Both seem weird, and I just don't know...

  1. What kind of form are we referring to in your question?
  2. Just list the address at which you spent the majority of the year(s) during the years you were at college, and /or paid rent for. If you lived in a dorm or other housing, and just spent vacations and breaks at home, you weren't really living at home during that time, just visiting.
  3. Do not try and complicate this just use your permanent home address that you used in the past for this purpose. The temporary school address should not make any difference but you could ask who ever gave you this form to fill out what they want on it. Hope that you find the above enclosed information useful. 09/10/2011
  4. That really depends upon what you are filling out. If it's a credit application, just use your permanent home address while you were in school. On the other hand, if it's an application for a security clearance, list every place that you lived for more than 2 weeks.
  5. starting with the current address where you can be located, receive mail etc then work backward for each of the residences you had during the 5 yrs if you live on campus and actually were listed as residing with your parents that is the address you report
