I need to obtain a list of my fathers NAVY ribbons and medals for a gift. Very important to me how do I do it ?

I want to make my dad something for his birthday. As kids my brothers and I destroyed or lost his medals and ribbons. Now older I feel bad because not only did it mean something to him. It means something to me now as well. We should have had our necks wrung for playing in his box of awards. Can someone help me I have a week. I played with the ribbons and medals so I know he got them. I used to see him in his dress atire and thought ut was so cool. Sorry I don't know how to comment I'm on my iPhone. And there is an air force base here that's it.

1. do you know which ones he was awarded and have you got access to a local base??
2. How can you be sure he saw any action to be awarded ribbons/medals??
3. You are going to have to ask him what he got. With only a week left to go, a request to the Navy is not going to be in time, and I doubt that you will be able to get them from a online store in time either.
