What does the order of friends on the list to the left of someone's FB profile mean?

When you go to someones Facebook profile there is part of their friends list vertically listed to the left of his/her profile normally when you access it from a computer. Does that order mean anything? Friends they interact with most? What about if that person accesses their Facebook from their phone. Could it be people they text or call often? Your cell phone (smart phone) activity with people affects your FB Mobile account, right? Because it puts people from my FB friends list onto my phone contacts. So, is calling/texting considered "interaction"?

1. 14 most recently interacted friends. You only see 7 of them and when you refresh, you may see another gruop of friends that belong to the original 14.
2. Facebook is evil and stupid. Delete your account. It's another MySpace.
