Do some people fabricate "greatness" and create elaborate life stories online?

I was reading a list by an interesting fan of music and the arts online, in the website "Listology." It seemed this person has an extremely diverse range of interests and deep knowledge in several areas of the arts. Then I caught this list of what he did in the last 5 years: http://www.listology.com/darktremor/list/what-i-have-done-my-life-2005-2010-previously-titled-life-changing-experiences-last- Please check out the above link. My jaw hit the floor, as I never read such a wild, bizarre, and at the same time, highly elite, list of accomplishments in my life. To you, does it appear that this person is being perfectly honest about completing all those things, or fabricating parts of the list? Of note, look for the wide variety of drugs, drug references, and manic episodes that would make any typical person non-functional. In the last 5 years of life, I have accomplished nearly nothing of note, at least compared to this person. I would think most people would feel the same way. Doesn't something about that list seem suspicious to you?

  1. Some people get success because of great labor. Some people are forced to enjoy luck. Some people are helped by god-father or friends or relatives with good-luck. It mainly depends on pure heart. Pure hearted people can fabricate and achieve anything. Otherwise, success will not be long lasting.
