At 55, I have put some thought into my last days on this planet. I have done most of what I have wanted to do in this life. I have written 2 books (working on 3rd), written a hundred or so really good songs (and thousands that really suck), have raised a great daughter as a Single Mom for 13 years (which is no easy task) as she is a junior in college and honor student. I was able to play piano for my Dad through my church pianist job after he retired. He was so proud. That had been a life-long wish to play for him. My Mom and I have grown much closer the last few years. Another life-long wish fulfilled. I have loved greatly and I too have won and lost at love. So choosing carefully here are a few things I hope to do before I kick the bucket. 1. Watch my daughter graduate from college. Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D 2. Reconcile with my nephew that has been indifferent to me for the last 23 years. 3. Publish or donate my creative works to a worthy charity as long as my daughter receives 50% of any money while the other 50% helps end childhood hunger in the United States. Still working on that. 4. Take my mother and daughter on a real life vacation to watch their joy. 5. Get a tattoo (if I can stand it!) when my daughter graduates college and trying to talk Mom into joining me! My daughter is going to get one too. Hey old saggy gravity-ridden old people can get tattoos too! LOL Then I'm gonna have a brief visit with Our Creator, hopefully without too much Judgment as I have really tried to not make any new negative karma. And then lovingly hug my Dad and feel the love and comfort of all of those loved ones that have passed before me. Pets included. And then watch over my daughter as she knows that is what I want to do. And see her enjoying her life with infinite happiness. I don't think that is too much to ask...do you? Great question Everything and I know that it is really you because you have several people trying to "fake being you" but it just isn't working for them. Touche. Good luck and bless you as always.
