I have no idea what to do about college.?

So this is my second year of college. My first year I attended a small privet college and this year I switched to my local community college. Well none of my credits from the privet college really transferred. Also I don't want to transfur to a university and get a bachelor's degree, I just want an associates degree. But I went in to see a councilor and asked if they offered any associates degrees in areas such as sociology and he said no, all they really offer are degrees meant to transfur to a university. He suggested that I go for my associates in science and arts degree, which is just general classes to transfur. I don't know what to do though. I am sick and tired of taking classes that are not getting me anywhere. I really hate college and i just want to be done. Also I went to sign up for some classes for winter and they're all either already closed or they have a wait-list, or the times just won't work with my work schedurle. So I have no idea what to do. I have no idea what classes to take, or anything. I was thinking about switching to a community college in a different city about an hour away next year, because they have way more options, but I don't know. Anyone else been in the same situation?
