What Japanese things can I do in London?
My class of four is going on a school trip and I need to give a list of ideas of Japanese things to do in London such as shopping, going to a Japanese garden etc. Our budget is £200, although transport costs may not be included but we do plan to eat out at a Japanese restaurant! I would be very grateful if you could suggest any ideas as I don't know London that well :) Thank you! Shopping as in, shopping at the Japan Centre :P You know, so I can stock up on my okashi xD

- shopping is japanese?, then things maybe like eating, and sleeping would be good if such general things are japanese lol
- i've lived in London all my life and i don't know what to suggest.
- There is the Japanese centre. and that about it.
- Japan centre and the Mitsukoshi Japanese department store, they are right next to eachother in Piccadilly circus. Arcades are usually popular for people who like Japan, namco centre is one. If you search on the Internet they have restaurants that specialise in udon, okonomiyaki etc. They sometimes have Japanese and anime festivals but I don't think they have anymore this year. If you go to Camden town you can find a lot of Japanese cute accessories and clothes and bags (usually Lolita, kawaii and street style things). Again of you like anime there is tokyo toys shop in trocadero but if you knew about the arcade there before, don't plan on visiting because it shut down. http://japan-interface.co.uk/gardens/results.php?searchCrit=SEast This is where you cam find the Japanese gardens. There is also a couple of Japanese art galleries around. I can't remember all the names but I know there is one in Kensington. You can find quite a bit if you look hard :-)
- Go to Mitsukoshi department store, shop and eat at the Japan Centre
- Go to a karate class
- The Pagoda in Kew Gardens Sushi restaurants ( not just Yo Sushi)- there are loads in Central London, but some are very expensive. http://www.sushifinder.co.uk. The Japan Centre on Piccadilly Opposite is the Cake shop of Minamoto Kitchoan http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/minamoto-kitchoan-london Then there is Japanese porcelain at the Victoria & Albert Museum. And I think at the British Museum as well. Enjoy.
