How to do the Neopets Punch Club?

I need help doing combinations in the Neopets Punch Club. I've tried every combination 3 times alreay. I don't need a list of codes, I just want to know what I do wrong. Do I click the actual bowls the punch is in or do I press the actual punch that's in the bowl before it changes screen. I'm getting really mad I just need to know exactly what to do!

1. you click on three bowls (i dont think it matters whether its the punch or the bowl, the general area of the bowls work), and then the goblet.
2. Click the bowels. You have to click the goblet. If you look very closely, the goblet moves when you hit the right combo.
