How do I become an X-Ray Technician?

I want to work with X-Rays and CT's and Sonograms, can someone please make list on what I need to do to become one? What majors should I receive, Any recommended colleges? I would like Texas A&M and Baylor, do you know if those offer any programs? I would prefer staying in Texas, maybe a city around San Antonio? Thank you so much I know something about majoring in Radiography? But half the schools I've looked at didn't have that program? Thank you for reading this.

  1. Hi Coco The following public schools in SATX have these programs: Northwest Vista Palo Alto San Antonio College St. Philip's UTSA UT Health Science Center The first 4 are community colleges and relatively easy for admissions and inexpensive. For Bachelors programs, UTSA and UTHSC are the places to go. Admissions will be based on SAT [just CR and M] or ACT scores as well as your HS transcript. Every one of these schools will have their degree plans posted - you get to do some online searching now. "Radiology" is offered at St. Philip's. "Radiography" is for nuclear engineers. Easy mistake to make
