- Follow your dreams and don't let people crush them.
- Ah, I used to have the same goals, for self learning the gutair, I suggest buying a starting kit of a guitar and a step one book. You'll have to practice everyday, though. For singing, I suggest doing more karaoke, and defiantly some new exercises you can find on YouTube. For the piano, I suggest the same thing as a gutair. Acting is a challenge, and I suggest taking a class. Being liked most of the time has to do with kindness and talent, so help out the community, or start a charity.
- Be happy with who you are, first of all. After all the crowds are gone, you are alone with yourself, and you have to feel good with that. Don't do what you do with making other people like you as your first objective. You will learn to play guitar, piano, sing or act if your desire is strong and you apply yourself. These are skills that require practice and hard work, not things left by the talent fairy. This may sound negative, but it's not. It simply isn't cheerily and emptily encouraging for it's own sake.
- First of all Happy Birthday! It's my brother's birthday as well. Second, you seem to have the same things i want, which would be become as actress, sing, and learn piano. I want to be liked, but don't become an actress because you want to become famous. I asked a question about becoming famous, and that's what they said to me, which wasn't what i meant, but it seems like that's what you meant. With learning an instrument, you need to make it happen yourself. I really wanted to learn piano, and i watched tons of youtube videos, and i learned a lot in a couple weeks. I know The Zelda theme, i know a part of "Someone Like You" and i know all of "The One that got away" also, with acting and singing, I'm joining the school musical, where i have to sing for about 30 seconds in the audition, and I'm nervous, but I'm really excited to be in a play. (Everyone gets accepted) So, you need to make it happen. You're the only one that can.
- If your IQ is over 120 you may be able to do one of these, but without it you are going to need teachers. There is no one here who can help you achieve these goals. There will be some suggestions, but they too are not realistic. I have the opportunity to work with some people who are achieving what you want. All studied with teachers. All are brilliant people who found ways to take lessons and to get into great University programs. Happy Birthday
- Happy Birthday! I remember being 13 - just! Okay - I understand that you want to do these things, but my advice would be don't try to self-learn. Anything. You can't judge your own skills, progress, problems, etc. Only a good teacher can do that. Take one skill at a time and get some really good lessons. As far as being an actor goes, you'd need to attend a good drama school for several years and get lots of experience. And you'd be wise to be prepared to act on stage, on TV, in movies, in commercials - anything you can get. Almost all actors only get two or three weeks paid work a year, so you have to be versatile and take anything you can get. (and have an ordinary job as well, of course!) As for being liked around the world - that's a bit of a difficult one. It sounds like you're a bit insecure and needing approval to make you feel good. That's not a good sign for a wannabee actor. Actors have to be confident and able to take criticism and rejection and really unpleasant comments all the time. Why should you care what other people around the world think of you? Be content with being liked by people who really know you, like your family and friends - it's their opinions that matter, not a bunch of total strangers. Try to tackle each of your first 4 goals one at a time, and with professional guidance. Good luck - have a great day! xx
