To what degree do you make donations to Christmas charities?
You've got the cashier asking for a donation. Salvation army storefront. People with buckets on the median. Toys for tots and the list goes on. Bq what about beggers? I give to beggers rarely. Some are deserving some are not. But.they all.already.get from me through taxes and donation. Everywhere you turn there's a handout. I feel I do my share and give what i can to a variety of these but can't help but feel selfish when I don't because we can't give EVERY time.

- There you are Ebeneezer Scrooge!!!! I haven't heard from you since last Christimas. Besides complaining about the poor, and the Government over taxing; how are things these days!!!! Well, I am glad that you healthy enough to share your thoughts with us. Happy Christmas to you.
- you don't HAVE to give to anyone and I use to give to Salvation Army until I found out they use some of that money to put out Anti-gay ads. Charities I donate to: 1.Goodwill 2. Red Cross 3. Food Pantry 4. Toys For Tots
- give a donation
- You do what you can...and count on others to do what they can. If we are do something, the problems of poverty will vanish.
- I don't donate to charities because most of them don't use the money to help the poor. If I know of a person or family in need, I give my donation directly to them. I never give to the panhandlers on the streets. Those people looking for donations, most of the time, are professional panhandlers who play on the sympathy of a generous person. Don't let them guilt you into giving them money. They make more money in a day doing that than you can make at your job in a week.
