When buying online, do they always mail out the bill?
So im buying christmas presents, and my billing address is my parents house. I obviously don't want them to know what I'm buying them. So do stores always send out the bill after buying something online? I use a debit card not a credit card if that matters. And if they do, does it always list what you have bought?

- No, sometimes they come in electronic format to your email.
- I don't buy a lot online, but when I have, they sent the invoice with the merchandise. Sometimes it will be inside the package, sometimes the envelope is glued to the front of the package.
- The store will not send you any sort of bill. If you use your debit card, the amount you pay will show up on your bank statement, just like it does when you buy something at the store. The items you receive will generally have an invoice enclosed in the package with them, listing what you've bought and what it cost, the same as the way you get a receipt when you shop at any store. They ask for your billing address only to confirm that you are really the authorized user of the card you're attempting to pay with.
