  1. Santa will NOT be coming down your chimney this year! And DOWN WITH THE OUT DATED Second Amendment! The British are not coming and are not interested!
  2. My most favored and trusted sidearm was a 1948 Walther P-38. It was a Post War German Police Issue and I carried it for 15 years. The only time it was fired while in my possession was at the range. I carried that weapon with me and had to fire it once while on duty. It was reliable, well manufactured and deadly accurate in the 30yrd-50yrd range. I could reach out and touch a target at longer distances. It is in no way compact, when I carried a gun on my belt the idea was, 1. I know how to use it safely, 2. It was in a full cover Holster on my belt, if a person ever actually saw it, something was being shot. I retired that weapon 20 years ago. Now I have a 12g single barrel Daniel Wesson long gun. It was my great grandfathers hunting rifle I eat what I shoot. Nothing goes to waste. And no trophies are kept. I prefer fishing.
  3. I've fired or owned every firearm on your list, though the P229 was plain-Jane, and the Super Red Hawk is in .44 Mag. with a 7.5'' barrel . Looks good to me. My favorite of the bunch is the Python.
  4. I think you're going to spend a bunch of money on ammo. My list. You listed Seven, so I'll stop there. My Dan Wesson Pistol Pac. Model 715. Stainless .357 My Ruger Blackhawk .357 My Colt Cobra (early version) .38spl A Colt Camp Perry .22 LR. My NAA mini .22LR High Standard Olympic .22LR Colt Ace That's seven. The Camp Perry can be had for under $2K. Not sure about the HS. The Colt Ace is going to cost a bit, but everyone needs a safe queen. Notice how all two calibers? I reload and cast for .38 spl, so I can afford to shoot those all day long. Otherwise it's a .22LR. Many of my seven, I already own.
  5. Nice list although I think you'll be disappointed with the Walther. I have a list, but my tastes in firearms have slowly evolved to the more obscure pistols. S&W model 1903 3.25" transitional in 32 long S&W Victory Model 38 5" Browning Nomad 4.5" Belgian made Ruger Buckeye Blackhawk 10mm/38-40 Convertible S&W Lew Horton Model 624 44 Special 3 inch Browning Hi-Power 41AE Ruger Blackhawk 7.5" 357 Maximum I had a longer list but already bought those guns that were on it. The above is a partial list of my new list.
  6. Walther cp99
  7. Python's are expensive mother truckers. And I'd get the Walter in somthing a little more powerful than .380
  8. Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 952. 6", 9mm or.. STI Targetmaster, a "Longslide" 1911, in 9mm Yeah, a Colt Python, 6", Blue though. A large .380. like a Beretta Cheetah. Because I reload for my pocket pistol, I'd like to have a .380 "range gun". That would do it, with what I already have I'd be done.
  9. Nice list. As for me? Well if Santa is taking requests............. Browning Hi-Power Competition model would be nice; but a 1969 Renaissance would be off the charts. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=263729873 A Webley Mk. VI Has always been on the wish list. Browning BDM just to have one. S&W 686SSR A Artillery Luger, hey it's a wish list. Cimmarron arms Doc Holiday Colt Thunderder http://www.cimarron-firearms.com/Specialty/ThundDocHolliday.htm Taurus 990 tracker Need a .22 handgun
