Suspicious eBay Buyer, what to do?
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but here's the deal. After a break from selling on eBay due to scammers, I finally started up again, and the second item I sold was bought by a buyer with zero feedback. The eBay account was created today, and the PayPal is unverified. The email associated with the paypal account seems suspect. It could be gibberish, but it could also have meaning that I am unaware of. I googled the name and address of the buyer and nothing came up. I can't get a name of the residents of the house I'd be shipping to, but someone with the same last name lives down the street from the address listed. Am I just being paranoid? What should I do? email was rajohng@gmail.com. On further look, it could potentially be a name, but it doesnt match the name on the purchase. The amount was $75.00

- Post the gibberish. eg, zxsg@xxxxxx (don't give us the ISP). How much was the item?
- Shipping to an unconfirmed PayPal address leaves you with no protection from PayPal. I would contact them and tell they you require they confirm their address there. You can also pull their contact info from eBay. This will let you get their phone number and call them. If it turns out to be some kid......
- I always have my security filters on high with my eBay. If you hover over the "account" tab in MY EBAY, in the drop down list, click on site preferences and go to the section called "buyer requirements". There you can block anyone with zero feedback, anyone who has to many unpaid item strikes against them, and even block people who live in countries you don't send to. This will save you many many head aches.
- if its out side ebay then you are out of the protection ebay is going to give to its sellers. Contact ebay and let them know about the transactions and give them full details. http://www.online-business-virtual-assistant.com/blog/ebay-trading-virtual-assistants-offer-5-tips-to-find-items-to-sell-on-ebay/
