why do they charge for `job lists?`?

Why are british and american companies charging $100 plus for lists of employers who sponsor,are there really people out there who pay this??. Does anyone out there know how to find these sponsoring businesses with out paying those touters?

  2. Yes, but they are scams. Usually they send you the help wanted ads out of a newspaper.
  3. To get away from paying fees you mentioned, is to use your feet and go 'door to door' to each company you would like to be employed by.
  4. I wasn't aware that this was being done. But, if someone is actually taking the time, legitmately providing you a service, then I think it would be an invaluable item to have.
  5. Try monster.com particularly the bigger companies. You will have to ask their HR departments, though. (but it's free to search unless you want to post a resume which might have a fee.)
