School Advice...College?

I'm only a freshman in High school, but my mind is constantly being controlled by which college I am going to. I want some advice to keep my grade up, and which school I should go to and why, and which one do i have the best Chance of getting accepted to (besides UT Austin) I want to go into business and Have a list of Colleges I want to apply to... I took the PSAT this year I think i was the 43rd percentile and like a 1350 score.IM ONLY A FRESHMAN.. does this suck for a freshman? ahh! anyways, Colleges I am thinking: UC Berkeley UCLA UC Davis UT Austin University of Chicago New York University University of Pennsylvania Ann Arbor MIT Feel free to suggest another good business program. I am all the highest classes, probably will take the IB program... currently have a 3.7 GPA only the first semester of school though... I know I am stressing too much, but advice Positive or Negative welcome. live in Dallas, half Chinese and Mexican speak Spanish, Chinese, learning French and... Have experience with the rural life(family own a ranch) and construction (we constantly renovate... kitchen ceramics, flooring, grouting whatever)... and yeah...Don't tell me to stop going crazy, I tell myself that all the time... MIT doesn't have a business program??? I swear i read about it... UCB is amongst the best business programs according to USNews for undergrads....

  1. MIT does not have a business program. It's a technical college - math, science, and engineering. A few of the other colleges you've listed - U Chicago and Berkeley, for instance - are best known for their technical schools as well. You might want to make sure these colleges even have business programs. And you're not going to get into any of these by being an average student - you'll need a high GPA and SAT scores. But you're only a freshman - start looking into other schools as well, and keep up your grades.
  2. Depends what you watn to do in college. But these days UC Berk is really competitive, evne people with 4.0 and above dont get in anymore (pretty ridiculous) same with UCLA (they are really selective) UC Davis is within reach generally you need around 3.75+ and a good SAT score to get in there. All the rest i dont know except MIT is the hardest to get into out of those.
