Good way to start a business?

I was looking through the questions on starting an online business a while back, and I found an answer that I wanted to look into but never got a chance. Its something I have heard of before. It has to do with affiliate marketing, where all you do is get a website and list other peoples products on it and you get a percent of the profit. Does anybody have any information about this?

2. You can contact amazon and sell their products through a page of yours. It's a place to start and it could bring some good money on the side.
3. I think I may know of a program that helps with that..Its called PIP.... they teach you about starting an online business and set up a website for you...
