Is it better to mail market to a larger local business or smaller?

we have a local mailing list with company size and want to both mail market and stop in to introduce ourselves. do you think it would be better to go meet or mail the larger or smaller?

1. It depends on the product or service you are selling. If it is 'high dollar', I would go for the larger first. Some small businesses have very limited budgets. I am sure you realize that most businesses have a classification for mail they receive and if it is a sales letter, it may get tossed without ever having been read, but since you are planning to stop by and introduce yourselves, you will have better succes. ~good luck ~jennifer
