Why am I I not showing up in the top 10 list of answerers?
I have 15 Best Answers (maybe more) in the XBOX category, which is more than a couple of people in the Top 10 list but when I looked at the XBOX Top 10 Answerers list I wasn't in it. Why's that? You can check to see how many best answers I have in the XBOX category by looking at my Q&A and then compare it with the XBOX Top 10 Answerers List and you'll see what I'm talking about.

- You need 10% Best Answers in a specific category before you get a lame "Top Contributor" badge.
- getting one is no big deal as they take it away if you deviate from the category you got it from and don't tell you.
- Holy cow! You're only on Level 3! I'm on Level 7 with 30-31% Best Answers, and I'll never even come close to being in the top 10. Have you looked at the Leaderboard to see what numbers people have? You'll see thee are people at the top who don't have Top Contributor. There is no order ranking for individual categories., so you must've misunderstood something. You can be a Top Contributor in a category, and in up to 3 categories. As soon as you start answering more in one category, your percentage of Best Answers in that category can go down, until you get more Best Answers. It takes time to achieve that 10% of best answers in that one category, and you can easily lose it. The only figure we see is the percentage of Best Answers of ALL our answers combining all categories. We never see the percentage of BA's in one category. You have to maintain 10% Best Answers is ONE category, and answer something like 45 questions in 30 days. I just looked over your questions and compared Best Answers in the XBox category and the number of questions answered just in that category, and your Best Answers percentage isn't even close to 10% Best Answers in a 30 day period, which is what is needed to be Top Contributor. It's not calculated over all time for Top Contributor... just over 30-day periods. it's not known for sure the number of days, but it's bound to be in that 30-day range.
