Women, what are the top five critera you feel is important in a home-based business?
Public Comments
- -Start-up costs -Training & Support (Initial & ongoing) -Sellability (is that a word?) of product(s). -Is the company working to improve the product? -Marketability
- 1.-Reliability. 2.-Know-how of your business. 3.-Quick response to orders/sales/customer service. 4.-Your own space within the house to develop your business/ideas. 5.-Advertising, advertising, advertising.
- 1. Equipment (use of computer, crafts, etc.) 2. Time (how much time you will be putting in a day/week) 3. Cost (out of pocket) 4. Income (will it give you the income you desire) 5. Product (do you like/support the product) I could go on but that is my beginning.
- It's VERY important that you thoroughly do research and check out the company before you make any decisions. 1. Market Demand - The Baby Boomers, who comprise 1/3 of our US population but control 2/3 of the spending, always get what they want. Right now, that's anti-aging, health & wellness and retirement income. 2. Does the company have a consumable product? - Is it something that people keep buying week after week or month after month? (It's easier to keep an existing customer that find a new one). 3. Timing and trends - Health & Wellness is the trend "du jour". It's currently a 400 billion dollar industry that's being projected to hit the trillions by 2010. 4. Leveragability - Will your efforts duplicate, and will you then benefit from the efforts of others? 5. Training & support - What does the company and/or co-workers offer for training, knowledge and support? There are plenty of home-based businesses out there, but they don't all fit these criteria. Don't jump into anything without checking it out. If I can answer any more questions for you, you can contact me at the first website below. GOOD LUCK! :-)
- All of the following answers are great. The number one thing is believing in yourself. I mean do you think you have what it takes to grow a business.
