  1. Toshiba makes the best laptops. I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092, especially for home and business use.
  2. It all depends on what you are looking for, your budget, the weight, screen size etc... okay you should get the picture. I had a similar problem too so I checked out this site: http://laptopmag.com/Tools/Guide/Notebooks/index.htm and it was quite helpful. You can also check out yahoo as well or any other helpful sites. Happy hunting for your laptop. Oh if I were to pick one i would say the HP Pavilion dv6000t.
