Is it ok to wear nice jeans, boots, and a nice top to a job interview?
I have a new pair of nice jean that I really want to wear and a cute/professional top that goes great with it, It is a small home business, that I dont think that she would care too much but I do want to look nice. Plus I am pregnant, and they make me look not so big. Is that un-professional?

- nope, sounds cute!
- No.......
- All depend the kind of job, but its always good to dress to impress, But if you are pregnant and the outfit still look professional and you feel comfortable with it go for it!!!
- I think that it is definetely okay to wear nice clothing for job interviews. Although, I think that "Looks are the first impression", so maybe you should wear dress pants to get the more classy/sophisticate look. Although, jeans, too, are okay :)
- As a business owner I would feel you aren't taking the interview seriously. Save the jeans for weekends and wear a nice skirt or dress slacks for the interview. Good Luck!
- It really depends what type of job you are applying for.
- I would say it's a little unprofessional. You don't have to necessarily wear a suit, but nice slacks and a cardigan would be fine. Good luck on the interview!
- No, because you want to look good right. So wear high heels, with a good shirt jacket, and a not that short pants. From, scarlet is cute
- Sounds good to me.Neat and tidy.
- I'm a supervisor in a medium sized company but who's office is on the casual attire side. People, including myself, wear jeans all the time. However, business attire is always appropriate for job interviews. I recently hired a guy in a group of 12 interviewees who happened to be he only one wearing business attire. He was a close runner-up with 2 other potential employees but I choose him because he put in that extra effort. But you might get away with it since your preggers.
- Jeans are almost never appropriate for a job interview. It is better to be conservative in your dress as you are trying to make a good first impression. Please see the links below for more hints. Although you are not interviewing in a large corporate environment, you still want to dress with the same level of professionalism. Best wishes for the job search and your new baby!
