Which is faster: XP Home or Vista Business?

I have an opportunity to upgrade to Vista Business from my current XP Home. My top concern is, which is a faster system? My system meets the requirements for both (2.67ghz, 1.1gb ram, etc.) I have to do a clean install of Vista Business, so I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision with the upgrade!

1. upgrade to vista :D its much better and your computer can handle it for sure
2. I am taking a computer back to have XP installed. I do not like Vista, and will only put it in after all the bugs are taken out. I am guessing in 2 years. This is my help from Washington, DC, United States of America.
3. XP is faster, Vista is a performance hog 2 gigs ram minimum, not worth it for all of that OS X like eye candy
4. XP is generally faster based on benchmarks. Vista drains the system's resources and will not function acceptably with just the bare minimum requirement. It has nice graphics though.
