My lap top have to travel from LA to NY with someone.If internet not work in LA means also not work in NY too?

Should Lap top bring to NY or not? Need lap top for business? Need advice?

1. If I was traveling on business and the laptop is part of it I woujld make sure the wireless or even the plug in was working. Most hotels offer connectivity and it never fails that you need to get something from the office in LA. Make sure you have a good anti-virus loaded.
